Misty: SwiMisty MPR and May accuracy debuff RNG. Archie just needs to spam thunder. Once lapras dies it’s still accuracy rng but switch to origin pulse.

Marlon: Every single thing is rng, from hoping you get enough attack debuffs, to confusion, to flinches, to sleep skip turns, to evasion, to accuracy drops, etc. This fight is the embodiment of RNG

Lana: Honestly I’m still surprised I was able to beat her with that awful team. I only survived sync because of Hilberts tile that buffs defense. Outside of that, you guess it, waterfall rng while Gloria lowers defense. Use max knuckle on cloyster for great damage. Grimsley is set to be the 2nd target after hilbert dies so that you can bank on Sink or Swim Evasion. He also has a tile for Waterfall that has a chance to raise evasion when that move is used. This helped me get to +6

Nessa: 5/5 LySSandre gains the ability to lower attack and special defense whenever an enemy is burned. Couple this with blues ability to buff defense up to +6 with MPR and you’re guaranteed to live sync if rain is not set up. The hard part is getting Gyarados to stay alive because if you get hit by swift or EQ before she syncs, then it’s time to reset

Archie: Naturally Lana helps a ton with giving +4 defense, but you see crasher wake there and I assume you know where this is going. That’s right, good ol waterfall RNG. Having water pulse is also nice for those extra points. If Lana gets flinched at any point, you have to reset tho.

I got to 80 a few LG back and kinda swore off doing it again because I just hated grinding it. Though now I have everyone 5* and all the eggmons at 4. So I may do it again. My only problem is redoing the LC, I really hate reassigning them because I like where they’re at already. I wish we could have multiple LC on a Pokémon at once and just only activate one for the battle. That way I wouldn’t have to get rid of what I think fits the unit best (perfect example is switching Adaman off of WW3 for Vigilance)

Or just bring that whole team to Nessa and do something else for Marlon.

Last day grind. Some people get Fomo and try anything they can to get the medal. I should know, I was on track to slowly creep my way into the master chef medal from the prestige event since I was using gems to max my stamina each day since I lacked having Gloria or any of the other units at 5/5, and then on the second to last day scores skyrocketed in my placement area and I was so far off.

With those team adjustments you can prob increase the power on each stage by a lot. Your Cerena on Marlon can probably start at around 360-400 power

I decided that wouldn't do, so I redid three of the fights with more Strength and now I'm back into Master, comfortably near the middle (5k-6k range)

Maybe you'll have more success against Marlon if you bring Crasher Wake for flinches

Wake also has Water Pulse (and Aggravation for it), and the team already has a Main Character (May)

The issue is figuring out when to use Water Pulse when he'll have his hands decently full just trying for flinch hax

I'm also a little worried about May only having +2 crit unless she gets MPR on her TM. Her normals will be fine in rain, but Dire Rain doesn't affect her sync. 50/50 critrate...
