#Suggestion to add "(Check the Pins)" for #poma-questions title and description

@limpid patrol what says you?
Thanks for the concern, but I really feel like if we do a thing, it will not be effective for everyone. Not everyone reads carefully before asking questions and we've learned to take that into account. Thank goodness for the
emote, but trust us, we do try our hardest to be helpful to others.

but check the pins can help you out
like having it in the title means the one asking can have a more substantial question
at least that's what i think will happen
It would have to go to the mods for sure, but what if for example, the title gets cut off?
then #poma-questions (Check the Pins) or put it in the description just on the off chance that someone might see it before asking
We technically already have that. There's a dedicated category specifically for Pokémon Masters content and another one for everything else, where #pokemon-general resides. It's merely a matter of people not realizing it or reading it, and we take it upon ourselves to correct them
Do you mean the title as in "poma-questions-check-pins"?
maybe idk or check-pins-first
Seems a bit... off. There are pins in every channel in help section, and checking them should be a habit
Most people wouldn't check pins even if such title change was made
so what i'm hearing is some people would
Some would, but is it worth changing the title like this?
Description seems more plausible though.
ok whatever you think can help
i mean... unless you actually enjoy reprimanding people. to each their own. you do you.
most people dont bother to ever check pins and have to get redirected. its partially because on mobile pins are annoying to access but i also feel like people in general just overlook this feature
its also not really reprimanding it just gets frustrating having to give the same answer to the same question 100 times
its actually surprising how many people have asked about the ticket scout and disregard the person who also got an answer for the same question
imo it wont really end up changing much but it cant hurt to try as you’ve said
i'm just thinking "how would i know to check the pins if i don't know that i should check the pins"? not everyone is discord savvy nor used to that. maybe in other discords the culture is different idk
i mean on desktop the pins are pretty easily accessible. if ur on mobile its a little more understandable because its more out of the way
You have to swipe left to get there
yeah which isnt exactly intuitive
ok idk lol i just thought it would help and reduce work but i'm not gonna die on this hill
We appreciate it, but this is the burden we bear
