such a nice smooth week this week....deserved after some of the stages from last week smh
R1 (Steel-weak) - My standard Steel-weak team, SC Shauna gives Wikky immediate crit + type theme boosts (plus all the other fun stuff she does), TL Serena debuffs attack for his sync multiplier + for physical opponents like Olivia, helps weaken her so he survives her sync + she can put up a defensive shield before the opponent sync for extra protection. Needed a few tries and I had to chip down the sides before I took out the center, but not too much work at all
R2 (Ghost-weak) - SS Korrina fears no reduced sync countdown. Nita maxes her attack (once she uses her trainer move) and gives +4 speed, while Helena....well she's here too! Theme skills etc
R3 (Fighting-weak) - Apparently I'm all about the theme skill boosts this week (hi Lucorrina, she helped!!), another stupid easy clear; Evelyn helps Diantha's defence get maxed real quick for her sync
R4 (Ice-weak) - WULFRIC SWEEP!
R5 (Poison-weak) - Emma and Sycasaur remain besties. I was going to use Shauna here but she didn't really bring anything to the table for these two + I didn't need the Support EX boost, so I brought Kali for some extra buffs. another delightfully simple clear

It's Sinnoh Week 1 and I should have been in bed hours ago, but I wanted to get this up before I crashed
R1 (Psychic-weak) - I was bracing myself for this one. I was Worried. I've whinged about Calem a LOT but I think I may have found a team that he works in....as long as the enemy has a special sync. This was a one-try victory, which was pleasantly surprising! Shout-out to Calem for dropping a 7k sync with no crit boosts (I didn't sync with Cerena. That's against my Rules)
R2 (Fire-weak) - LySS and the fire girlies once again, another one-try clear. Love using Lysandre after a team with Sycamore so I get to hear their pair-up line. It's About The Yearning™️
R3 (Ghost-weak) - actually felt a bit sorry for Lucian after this. SS Korrina dropped a 27k sync and my man never recovered
R4 (Grass-weak) - I hate sand, it's coarse and rough and gets everywhere, etc....Bertha fun fact besties, Kalos does not have a unit that can set weather early in the batttle (the only weather setter overall is Chalem, and you have to wait until his BM is activated), so Sycasaur and his cute little assistants had to fight off Bertha in the goddamn sand!! I think I....accidentally managed to quad-queue here??? I got off two syncs before Bertha got one?? I have no idea but I wasn't about to argue with it
R5 (Poison-weak) - uhh...yeah. this one was fast lmao. Emma dropping 20k+ B-moves had this finished real quick, sorry to Cynthia but how we won was NOT a mystery

R1 (Ground-weak) - I actually thought I'd struggle a bit more with this than I did.....only took a restart or two. Shauna and Nita's job was to pump buffs into Zerena so her sped-up sync actually did something. A good clear
R2 (Ice-weak) - no but this was the FUNNIEST clear I've had in a while. oh my god. I worked out the ideal time to trigger Calem's B-move to clear the sand Bertha set with her sync...only to forget I'd selected the 'no weather change' param BUT!! I decided to continue with the clear for shits and giggles, and ended up with just Wulfric on 1HP (thank you, Chalem's team Endure) vs the two sides....AND THE ABSOLUTE MADLAD CLEARED THEM! that Avalugg was FLYING back and forth, freezing both of them and allowing that WULFRIC SWEEP!!!!!!!!!!! god i wish i'd filmed it. incredible scenes
R3 (Water-weak) - the reason Siebold looks so annoyed is because he's 3rd-wheeling. i'm sorry Siebold. braindead clear.
R4 (Bug-weak) - now listen i love me some Viola but i'm also not a (complete) moron. SS Diantha was very helpful here, although she waited until her second round of zone had elapsed to finally finish the battle. thanks for stressing me out, queen!
R5 (Fairy-weak) - I don't know what the fuck Diantha and Cynthia fought about, but the latter made this battle as ANTI-DIANTHA as possible so I'm assuming it was something big. SpAtk debuffs, Wise Entry, massive special bulk, evasion buffs.....why??? this took so many resets, oh my god. i'm exhausted. but i was DETERMINED to clear this with my fairy girlies, and they did it!!

Everyone....I decided to engage in a cheeky bit of blasphemy and attempted a 12.5k run with the best my roster had to offer....was curious how it would compare to my Kalos-only runs, SO!
R1 (Water-weak) - lmfao
R2 (Bug-weak) - Yep! My best Bug-type DPS is Burgh! That's what I'm working with here!! Thankfully LillieTea and PDawn's spdef debuffs carried him over the line...but it was very clear that special units were NOT welcome in this battle lmfao
R3 (Ice-weak) - we love using Glacia unironically! she pairs nicely with Irida, who unsurprisingly destroyed this battle. Melony was there for full Ice-team shenanigans, but she randomly did a 7k max move??? I didn't realize it did damage, whew!
R4 (Ground-weak) -
R5 (Fairy-weak) - Featuring Diantha and the two expensive presents I got her thankfully they were both basically made to support her, so she demolished this battle on the first attempt. a world away from my previous struggle, GOD

R1 (Rock-weak) - My go-to Rock team now; Nita just speeds up Diantha's Atk boosts while Grant flinches. The perma-field-effects were very nice here
R2 (Fire-weak) - Again, easy; I just like using the fire girlies with LySS.....please give Evelyn an EX at anni DeNA im beggin
R3 (Dark-weak) - dual-DPS with Lys and Cerena is very fun. Man I really don't have much to say, these battles were Quick
R4 (Grass-weak) - Eeeeexcept this one, but Chalem being able to get rid of Bertha's godforsaken sand helped a lot. Shout out to Emma for failing to poison Bertha for like 4 moves (her and Sycasaur are besties, that's why she's here)

R2 (Steel-weak) - WIKSTROM SWEEP!!!! this took a lot of tries but I finally got my clear and my video to go with it. we love a bunch of wacky techs (and a sort-of tech )
R3 (Electric-weak) - this goddamn bee was so bulky that Clemont had to sync TWICE to clear it. the pre-sync healing was basically nothing bc we weren't doing any damage outside of syncs, besties! god

An interesting week, this one; 4 of the 5 battles were ( ) cakewalks, but due to the typing I used a few teams I'd never used before. Quite fun!
R1 (Flying-weak) - Standard Flying-weak team, Lerena helps with type theme skill buffs and debuffing. Lysandre and his grid expansion blew through Sidney pretty quickly, can't wait until we get Flying Gear! Post-sync.
R2 (Dark-weak) - now this was an interesting one; first time I've used Cerena as a Dark DPS without Chalem or Lysandre alongside her, so I went with the Shaunas (SC for debuffs to help her nuke, base for attack buffs). Post-sync.
R3 (Fighting-weak) - SCDia nuked Glacia off the field with one sync and demolished the sides with a quickness, it felt....strange. Uncomfortable. Is this what pre-syncing is???
R4 (Ice-weak) - can someone please confiscate Drake's Earthquake TM??? I have to respect him for having NO time for the rats, but god!! Sadly I did have to bring along SSDia to help Wulfric out...I'm constantly amazed by how powerful she is worth the pity for 1/5, this was also post-sync
R5 (Water-weak) - another interesting pair because I've never used LySS without at least one frog! Kali helped to max his SpAtk while Clem tanked and gave defensive buffs + the Support EX boost for LySS's B-move (which finished the battle very easily). Another pre-sync!!

12.5k, as per usual - the battles this week went from torturous to braindead, moving further towards the latter each round, but oh my GOD
R1 (Steel-weak) - I spent so goddamn long on this battle with just Wikstrom as the damage dealer that I just. UGHHHH GLACIA!!! He was doing decent numbers but those blizzards just wiped me off the field every damn time, as did her sync. This is why I can't do those big LG streaks, the constant restarting gets to a point where the game is no longer fun and feels like a chore, so. LySS......helped. Just a little.
R2 (Electric-weak) - This battle was easier than I expected! I've never actually used PalRena and Clemont together but they actually work really nicely since she debuffs speed for (DOUBLE KEKWALK ) nuke! Her main job here was paralysing Phoebe, Sycamore Sycamore'd and buffed Clem, while he handled the damage. He and Syca are a pair of vampires fr
R3 (Fairy-weak) - So you might have noticed I used the paralysis-curing Sycamore and the speed-buffing PalRena last round, which meant this round was. Fun! So fun! Viola was there to debuff SpAtk both for Sidney's conditions and Diantha's sync. Legit had multiple attempts where I would have won if Diantha hadn't been paralysed!! I think everyone needs to be dependent on Diantha's Moonblast and sit and watch the gauge slowly crawl up to 4 bars in a tense battle. I think it builds character tbh. you take your time queen!
R4 (Dragon-weak) - hilariously funny using Calem's B-move but getting no rain because of params nice try Drake!
R5 (Poison-weak) - a very functional team for Emma! Shauna finished her attack buffs and Clem debuff defence. It was over very quickly

R1 (Rock-weak) - D1 absolutely demolished Drake in her best Barbie fit! I've used Nita here in the past but as per my clear rules (that I think some of y'all forget when you mock my post-syncs! ), I had to use her in the Ground-weak stage. Blessing in disguise tbh, Shauna was v helpful to get her attack and crit up early rather than waiting for the B-move buffs. Grant was Ken.
R2 (Dark-weak) - Lysandre is truly the Neo Champ's bff. this clear went so smoothly flawless quadqueue, perfect zone application (nice try Phoebe!), Cerena blew the centre off the stage with her sync, etc. Such a delightful trio to use, regardless of Lysandre's outfit
R3 (Fairy-weak) - D2 I decided to try something a bit different with this stage, and benched PalRena in exchange for Viola and her guaranteed SpAtk debuffs because 1) Sidney needed that lowered and 2) I wanted to try and enable Diantha's Devastation (how's that for a Cool Technique Name) faster. You will notice I specifically chose the stage with the gauge boosts since I was sacrificing PalRena's speed buffs and I suffered for it still a 1-attempt clear though, I might make Viola a permanent addition here (Kali EX when, etc)
R4 (Fighting-weak) - D3 really not much to say here. Evelyn makes sure her defence is maxed before sync, Korrina was moral support. SC Diantha remains cracked and refuses to age (Lysandre approves!)
R5 (Ground-weak) - I never know what to say about Zerena on-typing because like. yeah. she did it. it was easy. Nita was there to meet my rules, SC Shauna maxed crit so Zerena didn't have to waste time doing it. Steven tried it I GUESS!

Johto is back...it should have been Kalos, but I'll allow it.
R1 (Poison-weak) - I was VERY excited to try Drasna with Emma, since the former can unlock the latter's B-move on the first turn...not that that ended up being all that relevant here since Emma's ridiculous sync accel meant she was syncing after one move Shauna was there to max Emma's atk before sync. I took a video of this but I fucked the quad-queue (not that it mattered at all!) Presync, with ease.
R2 (Fire-weak) - this team is...very imperfect, but if I can get Evelyn EX at anni it'll work fine I'll be redoing this later in the week once I have Lodge Calem and can swap him in for Serena, but I might keep her and bench LySS, depending on how I feel...I just like actually making use of Evelyn's M-Passive....
R3 (Psychic-weak) - Olympia my beloved my queen my perfect angel THANK YOU for blessing my roster, no longer do I feel a surge of fear when I see a psychic-weak stage 😭 Blemont and Kali were there to pump buffs into her Stored Power, which sorted Bruno out with ease. I'M SO HAPPY.....
R4 (Bug-weak) - Absolute scenes in this clear, I went to all this effort to set up rain for Viola's sync with Chalem, only to realize near the end that I didn't have the correct nuking grid set. Annoyed that Johto let me get away with such monumental skill issues smh
R5 (Steel-weak) - Chadstrom deleted Lance with ease. where was the effort?? where was the challenge?? (it's with steel-weak Glacia, who we will not speak of.)
