Each turn that goes by, all options become worth +1 point more

So on the tenth turn... this bonus has stacked nine times

So a bad option is worth 14, an okay option is worth 16, and a Super Exciting option is worth 19

At that point, a bad Hot Topic might be better than a Super Exciting non-Hot one

Lately, the way I’ve made my expedition teams was to max out the expedition level for the specific crystal I need for one character’s gifts and rare caches. This way, I can get one character at a time to lvl 100 at a time as quickly as possible

Firstly, each character's expedition skill will match their class role: if it gives +color, it will include that character's own color (red for Striker, etc). If it includes -color, it will never include the character's own color

So, step 1, blue is uncommon because Supports are the least-represented class among the three

Next: the distribution of colors in a character's Expedition skill will be governed by what trainer type they are

Champions, Elite Four, and Trial Givers have +3/-1 (except Hala for some reason???)
Gym Leaders have +1/+1
Main Character and Typeless have +2/-0
Battle Facility Foe, Villain, and Rival theme skill give Rare Cache, though sometimes this overlaps with one of the categories above (e.g. Leon and Blue are Champion instead, sometimes)

Alola is really easy to build for because it has a lot of Trial Givers with those juicy +3 bonuses

Johto and Galar are miserable to build for: Johto has only two Elite Four members and no Champion (Bruno, Koga, and Lance have the Kanto tag; Galar has no Elite Four at all)

So 5k paid gems is kinda a bad deal
