it’s anni! the theme is new toys and i have a lot of them, so many i couldn’t even squeeze in fall allister and anni skyla

r1 dazzling dizzying…..doldrums, defying?

r2 emma really completes the trio here, and i have half a mind to put hs1 on oleana so the three of them together can skip two turns immediately

r3 i thought dawn and cynthia would work so well together but they need a ton of gauge help, so it was a good opportunity to try out blue

r4 this team comp is as brainless as it looks

r5 see r4, i havent even candied any of the new anni units but they just make it easy from base. happy to see leaf on the podium

I started off wanting to 2v3 the entire thing with fire units but quickly realized how annoying it would be and gave up lol

r1 easy enough with red when he has a proper sun support but i was sad that he couldn’t do it without a sun setter

r2 poor silver didn’t have a chance to ever 2v3 with me piloting. the lad just needs too much offensive support and sun and morty just can’t give it to him quick enough, so lyra helped out

r3 why didn’t i just use ss hilda instead? i don’t get enough opportunities to hear the reshiram cry is why

r4 i forgot to even set sun with gordie and leon still crushed this

r5 back to a 2v3. i really wanted these two to do it together and i got very close with 1/5 leaf but she just didn’t have quite enough oomph to one shot the sides after taking out red, so i finally candied her and then they both cleared this no problem

r1 but why was this the hardest clear of them all? wikstrom has hands this week @drowsy mango

all three units are 1/5 and i so badly want to candy vkris but she’ll hopefully rerun in november so i’m holding out

r2 regi gaming. all 1/5 again, this was technically post sync but anabel brings so much survivability they all took less than half

r3 gauge was a bit difficult with sonia and i should’ve thought to run 6 bars to take advantage of her power flux but whatever

r4 zinnia compliments marnie nicely here, i like not having to wait for rebuff like with cserena

r5 sync 1 with hilda immediately wiped the sides and i didn’t even get to use leaf’s sync. they’re too cracked together

anni raihan i think struggles to fill a niche at 1/5 bc so many other units do his job now

at his release he provided aoe stacks and SEUN along with two weathers but there are tons of units that do those things better now

3/5 gives him a better sync but more importantly he gets sand extension, sun on sync, more sync accel, aoe sdef shredding, and aoe flinch. he’s just a swiss army knife

5/5 i really like his addition of max countdown 2 for even more sync accel and sun extension to make his sun mode more usable

i rarely ever use anni raihan for his sync, which isn’t bad, but he just has so many good tools in his grid im never picking those multipliers over weather extension or sync accel

r3 olivia finally got EX from me, she deserved it honestly for carrying everyone during the worst era of playing this game. i was surprised to find out that egg kabuto was release just before first anni so i had a second sand setter! since i knew i needed acerola for cynthia in r5. initially tried ss brock but he just doesn’t have the dps to clear mid by himself

r4 i tried to off type with kris but wikstrom hits like a truck this week so i was happy to learn that solgaleo is actually pretty serviceable for fighting dps now. agatha just spreads sleep so sol had enough time to clear with moves only

r5 this one was a breeze

r1 how do you get lusamine to presync a kalos CS 2v3? just stick her with the best special support in the game, easy

r2 this clear was pretty heinous, all leaf had to do was set rebuff and sun and hilda wiped the whole stage with her sync

r3 eusine nearly cleared the stage before anyone even had to sync, he’s very silly

r4 pinging @drowsy mango , drasna is 2/5 and serena is still 1/5. with half sync params they just shred the stage

r5 this one was very sloppy but they still have no problem

here’s the link to his video that gets into post sync params, it basically relies on making the opponent sync quickly and not being able to stack power on hit much, then KOing them before their second sync

r1 sadly this was the most frustrating clear bc even with perma field raihan struggles so hard with gauge. i settled for spamming rock slide to get all opponents to -6 speed for a full cakewalk seun sync and then finished mid off with two steel beams

r2 lana nearly cleared the stage before lusa could even get off an attack (her setup is so slow nowadays)

r3 i benched marnie to play with zinnia and the two of them play very nicely together even at 1/5

r4 double venu is not optimal but we go for best kanto starter here

r5 double diancie has trouble with 3k so i got to try out paulo and he does not disappoint

r2 this team is just unfair. i played it first with ssac first sync and cleared too fast, so i tried rei sync first and still cleared way too fast. really looking forward to playing with him and nc rosa later this month

r3 i love normal types. the parameter helped out palmer’s rotation since his zone timing is annoying but big thanks to @prisma rover for the demos that led me to candy and cake him, he’s so much fun. elaine got a candy too bc she has a LOT on her 3/5 grid

probably helps if you have cs2 on him instead of hs1 like i did
