Ideally, I wanted to pull for ||Adaman > Dexio and the split Penny/Eliene.|| I already have a good Psychic team so ||Dexio|| isn't super important, I just like the character and ||Espeon|| (plus they're a pretty good unit) and I already have ||penny|| 3/5, so getting specifically ||Eleine|| would be harder.

Another thing to worry about is ||NC Leaf|| rerunning in December/January, which would complete my ||NC Kantrio team with NC Blue and NC Red.||

The reason I disapprove of that kind of behaviour is that while ofc the number of limiteds has obviously increased, most of those limiteds at this point are niche or newer characters with less traction behind them as older, consolidated characters. And I'm happy they're limited because I don't recommend anyone's fave to get Malva'd, Iris'd or Sonia'd (powercrept to hell and back, forgotten, gen pooled with a shitty kit)

I'm tired of seeing people claiming the game "used to be much more generous" because we got a year where DeNa completely fucked up their free gem economy planning related to paid bundles, making basically the economy print gems out of thin air.

If 4 more multi per year were enough to decide the economy the game would've died in 2019. The reality is that the game is still extremely lenient with its free currency considering the limited pair value, the freebie pair value and the level of difficulty required to obtain more currency.

And while I ofc get that it's not cool to lose an average of 1/22 of the income, I still recognize you can't expect the gacha economy to normalize around the 2022 standard and that as it stands, it's still easily manageable to save unless you get unlucky for 6+ months in a row.

All this blabbering about "DeNa choking players", "gem income being non existent and unacceptable' only passes and ungratefulness for how good we had it on the regular, and how good we still get it compared to other f2p gachas to my eyes. Now I don't want to say my view is easily shareable and again, I understand the frustration of getting slightly less gems monthly, but if the quality of the game content increases as compensation I'll fully take it. DC,rally,HSE,UBs and the soon coop rework keep me interestedmore than 800 gems monthly

I never said them changing from 2022 economy to 2023 economy was a good decision, but I can see why they did it considering how the gacha economy changed once the pandemic "ended"

The 3 and 7k bundles were clearly mismanaged early and gave too much of an advantage for too low of an investment. The reason 2022 touched high in sales wasn't because people were spending more, but because a lot of new players joined for third Anni (mostly ash), but the game content being low quality killed retention, plunging the sales towards the end of the year

Paldea also clearly didn't carry enough lifeblood into the game as they hoped aside Iono carrying last January better than a lot of MFs

Again, all I'm seeing is someone crying about the virtual money but not recognising the real quality we got in event, pair spotlighting and content managing since 4th Anni onwards

First, its not guaranteed like you can burn your paid gems and can get 3*, also i think mix pulls is only worth it when your roster are severely lacking of limited pairs or you want the featured mix unit. If not, better to just grab your missing unit via fair/variety/seasonal selects than depending on mix scout randomness
