probably has something to do with this, they’ll probably make 1/5 pf kinda common but it will seem really bad compared to what you can get at 10/10 or 5/5

That, and the fact arc pairs cap at 5/5 and only accept golden move candies, lead me to believe dena wants to boost the monthly golden candies bundle and pair banners for arc, or even normal mf banners

it’s a genius tactic to increase sales

And people can’t really complain that much about it, since the hardest of contents in the game don’t scale with that power level yet

and also because they will get the units regardlessly, without missing out on anything that stands out outside of damage / utility

(ex: people that have 1/5 arc Cynthia still have an arc Cynthia, even if it’s weaker and has less stuff than those that do at 5/5)

Like myself put legendary/mythical/UB/paradox as my priority. Might sound much but 8 are free from legendary adventures, 9 are free from BP, 1 from story quest, 2 from spotlights, 2 from team up events...so that already helped me a lot by shaving my costs, although this goal is hard for newbies as there's a huge list to catchup so start with collection goals that you can manage

She's way better than any of my ghost fave currently though so im happy, like annilillie only has piercing blows to tackle some stuff, victrier very mid with half baked zone, ssrcynthia good zone bot but pretty hard to juggle if she need to do sync nuking as well as spamming zone, sskorrina steal buffs and got damage greatly lowered if enemy has even only 1 buff. So i think im fine with ||flutter mane that can regularly spam buddy move that also -2 spdef to all with each cast and also does ghost rebuff||

To answer this, gacha games like genshin or hsr got 2 type of pities, like after around 80 pulls, the chance to get a 5* unit gets higher and when it pops out there's 50% chance to get the featured unit and 50% chance of getting general pool 5*. If you lose that one, the guaranteed next 5* unit you get will be the featured banner unit. Hard pity usually means 180 pulls, as you will guarantee a 5* in 90 pulls but you lose the 50:50 so you had to get the guarantee and this round also cost you 90 pulls and you didn't get the unit early on 1-89 pulls

If you lose 50:50 and still have to pull till get the guarantee and it cost max 180 pulls for all. That means hard pity, the saddest outcome
