Well the biggest challenge for me is usually Pairs that were released in the mid or late month, well because i will be hopeful to be able to form pity as half of the banner duration will be in the next month and thus make it hopeful to be able to form pity to get the unit.
But the month after is an uncertainty, the amount of gems are unknown, also am i sure that i wont get tempted by the mystery unit on that month. Therefore, i adopt pull when you have a pity strategy. Can get the unit you wanted day 1. If lucky I can carry the gem balance to next month

Just collect em slowly and prioritise the types that you are currently lacking or cannot perform well...i usually put seasonals last is my priority because they have fixed season so you know when they will come, pokefairs and sc are the ones that are more tricky, master fairs at least will rerun 1 pair a month, but we have way more pokefairs than master fairs. Sc not sure, for now both pokewar and tea party sc only rerun once.
