I've always struggled with EBE's so I don't feel bad ||pulling for units in types I'm weak in if I care. Lysandre was more of a fave call, Emma was fave/poison weak call|| bc it takes longer for me to build up since I'm lacking in 4* power ups. Some regions are just lacking for me

I personally pull on any banner that is a fave, regardless of type

i've pulled a few spotlight faves, at this point

Getting multiples of a limited pairs with a 5/5 grid, I see no issue in investing and selecting your desired units at pity

I then decided to tailor my pull choices around limited pairs and ended up with two priority lists

One for my account, which is pulling on strong pairs for types I struggle with

Another for my collection, which is main games canon Unova

And I went through 3 banners so far with the idea that if I got the featured pair, I'd pity and get the spotlights

However

What happened was

||I pulled the featured on the first multi on the first banner
Colress and Hugh weren't available on the second banner, despite colress being steel and the banner being a type specific steel banner
I got the featured once again at the first multi||

Any dupes towards pity are worth it, since you’re already committing to ideally spend 36.6k on any banner that you’re pulling on

Also, in this case a solution would be waiting until you get to a banner over 200 scout points, I guess. In that case just decide what’s the level you’re willing to spend just for the spotlight and stick to it, not a good idea to question yourself every time a banner you want drops. So wait for luck, commit to a banner or set a limit after which you’re comfortable with, if one multi seems too little

I don’t get what’s the point of having a #1 absolute fave if in the end there’s always a caveat in what may determine you pulling for it, but that’s up to personal decisions

Well one of the game i played have arena that can only use 1* 2* champions but they only shine in that arena and early quests...their stats are stunted because they are 1* 2* champs

While the game have 6* champs as luxury

At least here we can upgrade 3* to even be or 5* 20/20
