CSMM can be beuteforced with five good units, Gauntlet requires more planning. And this planning, this idea of conserving resources, it pushes people away.

Am late but I wouldn't give up on Paulo and Tina pairs just yet. Lear, Rachel, and Sawyer didn't get their pairs until Lear's character arc in the PML was done iirc. Paulo is still in the midst of his character arc, so they're not gonna release him at a time when his character is still so drastically changing or else his lines will either spoil future development, or they'll be out of date and no longer reflect his current personality in a few months time. Same goes for Tina since she's closely linked to Paulo's arc.
If you want Paulo or Tina pairs, keep saving. I'd say there's a good chance we see them both once VAs are over and they resolve Paulo's character arc

Some other gacha game i played just have a seasonal alt release during that season and doesn't mention them anymore on any other events

I generally do around 40 streaks, I don’t really plan teams, just go from low rated units to high tier ones over the course of the event, but when there are opponents like Moltres and Uxie I just do the bare minimum
Currently units that I want to EX are all Ex’ed, the only ones that I’m evaluating are a couple of low tier supports like OG Lillie and Lana, so I’m not to stressed over getting one extra 5* power up for every for clears lol

How do you guys deal with burnout as I’m not feeling super motivated to get all my resources. I haven’t touched LG, I haven’t even started gear. And normally I do these within the first 2 days.

It's fine to slack sometimes. Ultimately the game is supposed to be a fun experience and not another part-time job.

That said, you might want to make sure you get the gear before the event ends
