In a game where I can use any of my favorite characters and they will work well and I won’t be held back by doing so, I’d rather my favs have an interesting kit but also not be good rather than someone who is meta and has a boring kit. I thought I had the reputation of people knowing I never cared for meta but seemingly that’s not the case anymore I don’t like the characters I like to be meta and that’s why I’m very pleased with base Calem design wise and performance wise, it has my top 5 favorite protagonist of all time and my favorite Pokémon of all time so I am perfectly fine with that and I’d take that over anything any day
