in his own way Lucian feels super reliable too as 3rd of such a team if you would need some super specific limited waste of gems zone otherwise

It’s his ace mon, and as much as I love both Silver & Weavile, I don’t think Silver ever actually has a Weavile in main series, he keeps it a Sneasel. Which makes sense, as a gen 2 trainer

Silver & Sneasel is arguably more likely, Cyrus & Weavile just makes sense if he’s to be paired with one of his OG mons

I have gems set aside for one or the other if Silver does get Weavile, or they somehow bring back evolvable mons

"not a fave? Skip" needs an explanation as to why this is a valid approach in some cases. The definition of the Meta should be explained, how so many challenges can be cleared with units we receive on a casual basis, and how battle really is played out instead of a "do you have the weakness advantage on-type flavor of the month?" need that DeNA tries to push, but also to elaborate that even if you go for a unit that seemingly looks cool, powerful, or complimentary to an idea you might have at that point, it might just be wasted gems on a unit that sits in the back of your roster. It's a category for the player to explore to really identify what their ideal pulls should be

Not saying anyone is doing such a thing or isn't doing such a thing I just know if I were starting this game, and wanted a way to save, learned of this channel, popped in and asked a question, I'd hope for as much detail and involvement as would be offered

If you're constantly impulsively pulling, I think a big step is setting small saving goals. Like, really small. Don't aim straight for a pity, or it'll feel impossible and you'll give up. Start off with aiming for 1k gems. Then 3k. Then 5k. Then 7.5k. Then 10k. Etc, etc. Small goals make saving feel a lot more achievable and helps keep u motivated, cause ur next goal is always right within your reach
