You should be able to fit all roles as much as possible
Keep the Sprint/Field units for the only field+sprint stages and those are the only ones that may require a role skip
Also go for Very Hard in the early syatages at least
Once you get Theme Bonus (those that give +100% if one of your unit has a matching theme) you can clear later VH stages. Those you have will reappear in the shop, so focus on a good one and stack that three or more times if you need to
Like Fire+400% is a nice choice and will let you beat any stage easily
AVOID the apple cup, if you're playing normal and you buy the apple cup you're losing point if you don't match all the roles. So in the best cases you get 0

Apple cup may be fun but it's unnecessary, and if you can't guarantee all the 20 coupons monthly (5500 avrg) then you should def avoid that

It’s mostly cause max moves are basically another type of sync in a way. Without needing to sync countdown. Similarly a good chunk of bmoves tend to be like max moves but with extra steps and limitations

Max moves unlike the others are nukes that you can use whenever in as many stages as you want

That’s the way I view it in a rally context

Plus most max moves still have a side effect on use. So for example a max knuckle unit can be used as a nuke + atk buff hybrid

Useful to activate some of the damage buff conditions in niche cases too since you can’t always fit a buff otherwise

Ofc still want said unit to be able to buff without permanent mp loss if possible

Since else you might run into case of “oops my mp is gone but I can’t fit a buffer because of role combo” if you can streak with it

Got the sprint field stage 10 again, which was Palmer, initial bonus was ghost in team and I used Victor earlier because I didnt plan well. My other bonus was crit hits, bought 3 for 50 and one on sale for 25

Rosa has Support sprint which is the best role combo in the game for Rally, and she’s by far the best unit at lasting forever. Consistent sleep, refreshes on potions, strong but flexible TM that she doesn’t rely on

For the END of rally, specifically A10 it’s NCBlue no question

My current strategy is buy nothing until A10, then just pick up 1/2 of the OP one-use items for 100 points, or otherwise drop to Hard

So at worst I only use up/lose 250 points

Of course if your starting boost sucks then getting Water would be fine to actually have something to use
