i can see though eventually fullmaxing all the f2p pairs barring collabs and maybe bugscy + adding maybe your top handful of favs

depending on how strict you are about when you pull for favs and all.

rolex being new isnt that big of a deal cause ive not touched banners with rolex gifts yet and i already finished rolexing most of my roster that has the feature.

Kanto Upgrade as a starting boost on Battle Rally is really amazing! Beat it and got 7150 points, all battles on very hard. No Apple Cup. Last battle was Anabel with Entei, with support and tech bonus, so I used NC Blue, SST Red and SS Kris. Bought just 2 more Kanto Upgrades (thought one of them might be unnecesary) and a discounted Half Cake. 250 points spent.

The difficulty doesn't really triple, the stage 9 has a 800% boost, while the stage 10 on VH only has 100%

You might need some specific units but that's up to your planning to save if you already know what might come your way

as theyre REALLY common and easy to fit into a team

(i prioritize +SPATK over +ATK cause my best supports are special, same with my DPS, but the stat based ones are optimized based on your box)

(plus i think theres more mpless +spatk than +atk barring rei/akari and the like. Sycamore, Proton, Leaf, etc)

If you're min-maxing & going for the high points, go for 2-3 boosts of the starter one - if it's bad, you can scope the shop for a better one through Areas 1-5/6. Save some strong contenders for your UB depending on the role bonuses, if worst comes to worst you've spent only 200-300 points, you can afford a Hard clear on the very last one

If you beat without boost you get 300 gain, if you can‘t clear in any way definitely go for Apple Cup but if you want to maximize points, I‘d try to clear without the Boosts

If you have never used Apple Cup yet, it‘s an experience worth those 50 points sooner or later, it‘s just extremely funny, but unless you are comfortable about not missing out on any Shop stuff that you care about (mostly cake probably and PU), I would not make it the Go To for every run

Stacking 50 Point buffs from shop along the way is a more efficient way also for point gains along the way

Support Buff at least should be a free 150 for your run so a gain of 200 at the very least, if you do it without Apple Cup, could be worse

Most people are in the same boat, this is similar when the Champion Stadium debuted. As you repeatedly clear the Rallies, you'll earn more Role EX cakes to give to pairs, whom in turn net you more rewards from future rallies.
Similar to how clearing Champion Stadium nets you Champion Spirits, which earns you more EX pairs, whom in turn help you clear Champion Stadium more easily.

You can net more points by experimenting with teams before buying boosts from the rally shop. Remember sync pairs don't get committed to the line-up until you clear a stage, if you fail a stage or quit, all pairs you had access to are still available.
