Look out for the orange "spiral aura" around your syncing Pokemon after the sync, the correct timing to queue is when that spiral is fading away, but you can also resort to button mashing!
The benefits of quad-queue is that it allows us to get two sync moves before the opponent's first one which is a game-changer if you're not using sync acceleration. A Sync Move does not count toward the Sync Countdown which is why without Quad-Queue or Sync Accel your second cycle usually leaves you at 1 countdown left when the opponent is using their Sync.
Note that Quad-Queue cannot be done under certain conditions that will make the opponent queue as your sync is executing :
- If a field effect (such as weather, zone, move gauge acceleration etc) expires on the turn you're syncing. Usually happens if a field effect was cast on entry or first turn.

In Pokemon Masters, the battles revolve around using your Sync Move as fast as possible.
Using moves will reduce its cooldown, which is also the case for the opponent!
This is why you always want all your pairs on the field to have moves queue'd.
Have 3 ally moves in between each 1 enemy move, even at the start!
After 9 moves, you can wait to queue your Sync.

(So far my only type I had to go out of my way for was fighting type myself. If we ever see a free fighting zone tho I might be able to be lazy there in the future. Although part of it was cause Lorelei is a fucking evasion machine on fighting weak…)

That’s not the passive that ruins quadqueue, Proton’s Plan is
A passive that triggers when your move completed will not mess up quadqueue, a passive that triggers from an enemy move is what will do it
The 2nd half of Proton’s Plan means that when Proton is hit the move gauge recharges by 1. That is what’s ruining quadqueue
