If you're powering the Pi via the standard method of using +5V from the Octopus board, it can happen. The Octpus board's 5V regulator can't quite provide enough power for the Pi and all USB peripherals, especially through the thin wires. I think a lo t of people use a separate 5V power supply for the Pi.

I am seeing the same messages and mine also appeared what I thought was suddenly, but actually started happening after letting RatOS update to RC3. Are you on RC2 or RC3 by chance?
