#Temperature error ADC out of range

Hello all,
around every third print I receive a temperature error from klipper.
ADC out of range or
Heater extruder not heating at expected rate
It seems to read wrong temperatures from the PT1000 sensor or tells me that the temperatur is out of range or couldn't be reached fast enough.

My system vcore4 300, RatOs 2.1.0-RC3-29

When this happens the ratos.cfg looses the variable shaper frequencies settings I copied there. Also PID tuning seems to be kind of reseted.
If I copy again my frequency settings into the ratos.cfg and PID again T0 and T1 it works for a while until the next emergency shutdown by Klipper.

I already checked wiring with a look at the temperatures and wiggled the cables to chech the connection or broken cable, but no temp change visible.

As the temperature graph disappears with the emergency shutdown it is hard to see the wrong temp read, but today I had the chance to capture it as the peak didn't got recognized by the system. A view minutes later the last emergency shutdown happened.

What can I do or check to stabilize the system?

First off, don't edit ratos.cfg. As you noticed, it is reset on boot. Put any iverrides you want in printer.cfg

A temp spike that is always wiring or the thermister itself.

Wiggle wires, wiggle the hot end, do it heated and cold. I am confident you will find the cause ๐Ÿ™‚

Also try doing it while your print head is at different spots of the x-y grid

Thank you @clever river for pointing out the correct place for the frequency setup. To me the comissioning guide had been not clear where to put it and as ratos.cfg had been the only place where I found those entries, I assumed they need to be copied there.

Thank you @clever river , @cobalt charm for the hint to look deeper into wiring issues. I wigggled almost every part of the hotend with 100*C at different positions. There had been only one wrong temp read in that time, but I couldn`t reproduce it.

it went slowly to around 100 and startet heating againg the rest stable over 30 mintues of cable wiggle

I ordered another Phaetus Rapido to change T0 for testing.

Could also swap t0 and t1, see if the issue moves or stays with the toolhead

I'm going to check the jumper - I found it already irritating that the jumper position on the assembly guide is different to the one on the manufacuters website.

After negativ wiggle test above I printed twice 4 hours with idex copy with no issue. Today the temperature of t0 is going up and down on print start when 150C is the goal. Like 157 but when system shuts down with a "Lost communication with MCU 'toolboard_t0'"

Im going to check the jumper and change them.

I had a look at the toolboard - I assembled the jumper as written in the RatRig electronics guide.
Probably the Bigtree Website shows a older design of the v1.2 toolboard.
But the RatRig electronics guide ist correct.

I replaced the t0 USB cable temporarily with another USB cable and the communication error went away. I'm going to replace it permanetly with a new calble and report about the outcome.

I changed both USB cables to 3.1 with 10gbps bandwidth and 18W. The system is still stable after two longer prints. I'm going to observe for some days and check resolved then.

OMG, I had a lot of issues with the setup and constant temperature problems โ€“ including Klipper shutdowns almost from the start.
As for the root cause, I suspect the small hole in the back panel, combined with the already assembled umbilical frame in step 11, forces the USB cable to bend at nearly 90 degrees when threading it through.
That might have damaged the cable right behind the USB-C connector.
