Hi!
I’m triying since the morning to install RatOs as explain on the website but I m not able to update RatOs or RatOs configurator. On the picture you can see that the both are invalid… soft or hard recovery have no effect

Restart moo raker. Hard refresh the browser (ctrl+shift+r) and refresh the updates

#

Either soft or hard recovery will break it.
You need to ssh and restore everything or flash again the sd card.

Either something on your netword and/or computer is messing ssh access…

what's the IP of the computer you are using for SSH? And what is the IP of your raspberry pi?

I use a ip scanner to find the ip of RatOs rp and use this one for ssh

I am trying to figure out if you are on the correct subnet - but I can't if you refuse to give us the IP address. Your local address is only good for your network if you are worried I am trying to attack you or something

I think I flashed 10x ... I have 4 printer on ratos without any problem... and now so painful to make something good

Try this, line by line:

ssh to the machine
cd printer_data/config/RatOS
git fetch origin
git checkout -b v2.1.x origin/v2.1.x
sudo ./scripts/ratos-update.sh

cd ~/ratos-configurator
git fetch origin
git checkout -b v2.1.x-deployment origin/v2.1.x-deployment
sudo ./scripts/update.sh

sudo systemctl restart ratos-configurator
sudo systemctl restart klipper
sudo systemctl restart moonraker

Then refresh updates

I think I will stop to work with ratos... at the start it was so easy to install every thing... now is more complicated than a nuclear reactor... it is very sad

it is very easy to install ratos, the above "complicated" instructions are to help you with something that went wrong. If you're getting this weird behavior after a fresh flashing of the card I would suggest getting a new card, a new pi, try on a different network... something else is interfering

I don't critic all the work done... just say it s more easy before the 2,x version...

I like very much ratos... but at this time I think it is became a little bit complecated for a lambda user.

And that is invalid because you are missing some steps.
At least, hard refresh on the browser. Then, restart moonraker and refresh the update manager

The separation between RatOS and ratos-configurator no longer exists. For some time. So, your browser is working based on temp files. Hence the need for hard refresh

Good afternoon. I'm having the same issue as @tawdry sundial. Also been reflashing the SD card 10x times, even got a new one... ended up the same way. Apperantly your issue solved magically...can you guys give me some help? It's my first time doing this things and I defently need some advise
