My 3d printer stopped when my print was about to start and it didn’t cancel my print but the hotend

Have you run the PID tune for the hotend?

Yea it works but when the print is about to start it can’t not hold the right temperature and doesn’t continue to print and it doesn’t cancel the print though just the printer paused and trying to fix the right temperature. I dont know if it’s a bug or etc

If you set a temp without trying a print does it maintain that temp?

if you set a temp then start moving the head around does it maintain?

Do you have some sort of sock on your hot end that is not installed or fully installed? I know my hot end won’t hold their temps right without the sock installed.
