Hi all,

I am building a v-core 3.1 at the moment, I have sourced a carbon fiber tube to replace the 2020 aluminium extrusion. However, I am facing a problem on the gantry. Once I tighten up the screw on the mgn carriage, the gantry becomes very noise and not smooth. I have tried to re-align the linear rail, however, this didnt change anything. I hope someone can guide me to the right direction to solve the problem.

Check for twist on both ends, not just "level" end to end

Does it become "rough" or does it try to bind if you move more than a few cm?

Double check the screws aren't too long and are passing through the mgn cart and pressing on the rail top
