I installed an ebb36 and I am facing the following problem, I have an Orbiter v2 extruder with a filament sensor and I can't figure out if I can connect the filament sensor directly to the ebb36 or do I have to run wires to the Octopus board?

as long as you have spare pins on your ebb36 you should be able to use them for the filament sensor
