#printhead gone wrong

Scary. What have you tried?
You use both motors to move in the X direction. I bet one of them either isn't working properly or the pulley is loose
So far I've replaced both the X and Y driver's, I've replaced the board with a brand new board out of the box and I've tightened the belts and loosened the belts. If move the bar by hand the print head does not move which is good. I'll check all the pullies...I'm running out of ideas
I've gone through and checked and tightened all nuts and bolts on all pullies, I've tightened the nuts that the print head slides on. Nothing has changed.... except I'm about to make this a very expensive boat anchor
Could be that one of the stepper motors is spinning in the opposite direction
Check the direction in your config
Another thing is to look if all the pins on the steppers are properly attached. After too many times replugging it, one of the pins on my stepper motor was bent and not going into the crimp. It would do something similar but after 2 sec would give a firmware error
The motor on the left side does not turn. If unplug this motor you get the same result.
Doesn’t turn even unplugged?
Yes, this method will help you determine if the problem is with that motor or drive
