Hello, I aluse the provided 24V Hotend fan. Wiring and jumper setting to 24V. Smaller prints are okay but larger ones always fail BECAUSE the PETG filament melts inside the ptfe tube between Bondtech lgx and the mosquito Magnum.

I checked everything but without finding a possible mistake.

Anyone knows this or a possible cause?

Had that to.

the hotend created to much heat and is very close to the part. The Tp value for PTEG is bout 80 degrees celsius. I had to order a new insert piece because my head came down and was on the bed before the probe triggered. If you have the chance to print the insert in ABS or order it online i'd say go for it.

My head parts are printed from PC so that is not an issue. The heat sink of the mosquito appears to get too hot. Maybe I need to lower the bed temperature so the cooling works better. I'm try and report

I have tried printing PETG at a bed temperature of 70°C and with the enclosure top and front removed. No issues.

PLA and PETG wants to be printed on an open printer

Thanks - I had awesome layer adhesion though 😉

But still - printing ASA at 100+ °C — won't that kill the LGX? The stepper got hot enough at 80°C bed temp
