Hi guys, i was able to set all my audio channels well, but im not sure how to make it capture OBS sounds which has the sound alerts, widget alerts. I tried changing the audio output of OBS to something like system or AUX 1 but my stream was still not able to hear the sound alerts

for starters change from 44.1 to 48, also, might want to disable desktop audio, and change that to your mic/aux 1 device. as for spotify, it comes through desktop audio.

sounds like 5.3 might be buggy for some. Maybe rollback the software, and open a ticket with #official-tech-support I haven’t had any issues, with the exception using express vpn.

im trying to update my 4k capture utility to the new version but im getting no button to confirm the update. It's just a big popup saying 'would you like to install?' but there is no option for me to actually install it. Any help would be much appreciated.

The USB cable is too long. 5m or 16ft is the max. Even then, with a device as resource intensive and power intensive you will most likely experience issues with any cable over 6ft. You may have to experiment to find how long of a cable works in your setup.

hello guys. i'm making dual pc setup using my gaming pc, laptop as streaming pc and elgato hd60S+. prety confused with audio. i use Behringer U-PHORIA UMC22 audio interface for my headphones and mic. That audio interface is plugged in via usb in to my gaming pc. I have a few questions.. 1) is it possible to get audio in stream so i can listen to spotify, game, stream alerts, not using additional hardware like goxlr or similar.? 2) if possible - how to connect it all? i;m watching a lot of videos on yt, but still none is perfectly clear. where to put each cable, what settings on both computers and so on? 3) if somebody is willing to help via DM to set it all up, i would happily pay for consultation 🙂

It use to be, but also having problems with getting plugins to install, I updated my steam deck and the apps and now they don't work, trying to install share x and goxlr which were already installed on it.

I moved OBS and my streamdeck to a new pc. I copied everything over. Now when I key something up, it works, but it doesn't show that it's still open. Sorry if this has been covered before, but most of the time I can't get the capture card to display in OBS, and I've been using a work-around.

I start by opening the 4K Capture Utility up before I open OBS (which seems to be fine if I close it later and re-open), and then using a trimmed scene capturing the 4K Utility to display on OBS (and so I have a nice preview of the game without having to swap the input on my monitor. Does anyone else do it like this and is it stable???

Hello, I was wondering if its normal for HD60S+ to capture game sound as live commentary. I'm running the capture card on a windows computer using 4k capture utility

What do you mean Exactly ? The capture card captures the sound as is.
If you listen back to your capture card sound (using 4k utility software for exemple) you should correctly hear your gaming computer (or gaming console) sound
You do not need external tool in order to capture video and sound using a HD60S+ (it is a standalone product)

i found a solution by my self You can make a Free Stream deck with Streamer bot and login into the Streamerbot website from anywhere and controle your Stream deck like the real stream deck from elgato das very nice

Hello there! I was wondering if there was a way to isolate music on my VOD, but still have my audience be able to hear the music during a live stream? I have my output source set as "Wave Link Stream", and have also tried to create a second audio output capture source just for my music channel, but even though I mute that, the music is still coming through my . I've watched several videos on youtube showing how to do this with other microphones, but nothing with the Wave Link Stream Output source, so even though it's muted in the seperate music channel, it's still coming through my Wave Link Stream mic/auxillary audio through OBS. Hello! I'm been having some audio issues, but I'm not quite sure who to ask. Not sure if this is due to my OBS, my El Gato HD60s or PC connections. streamlabs is a copycat of OBS, but with Streamlabs ecosystem baked in. What is it you're having troupble with via the black screen? Most cases you'll have to disable HDCP on your console.

OK, without knowing exactly where to tap, that actually doesn't help things, since I was pushing buttons on the Deck, and I was looking all over Discord (of course when you're in streamer mode on Discord you can't do anything till after streamer mode off.

Need some help, wavelink is not outputting to the stream output at all and my streamdeck keys for toggle monitoring , adjust output volume and mute output do not work for stream mix/stream output. I think Wavelink may be bugged as before this happened Wave link decided to remove all of my inputs. How do I fix this?

Oh and for some reason the stream mix is reading on the stream deck at 32766%

Alright, hopefully I can explain it well enough. I have multiple settings that I have to work with.

These are the settings that I have to manage in order for anything to work on my setup with a ps4. I haven't gotten it quite the way I want it. What I'm aiming for is basically streaming through OBS with my El Gato HD60s. I want to be able to hear the gameplay while I am able to be heard through the same headset.

I also can't seem to get both the game and myself to be heard at the same time while streaming.

It's only one or the other.

Using an HD60 Pro in my streaming PC. I have an HDMI plugged into the capture card 'In' slot on streaming PC, the other end in my GPU in my gaming PC. Audio from my gaming PC does not go over to the streaming PC. Video does transfer over to the streaming PC.

Is anyone familiar with how I might troubleshoot getting audio to go over as well? Do I need to plug another HDMI into the 'Out' port on the capture card to go somewhere? It seems like audio and video should both be going over.

Unsure if it matters, I'm using a Wave3 mic on my gaming PC. But no audio is going over, not just mic audio.

So I went and bought an HG60 S+ just to see if it was my card. Input HDMI is in my gaming PC, output goes to my stream PC. Stream PC OBS shows the video. Set the audio in the OBS ElGato video source to DirectSound as instructed by every video guide out there. ElGato1080HDR is the default sound device in gaming PC's sound settings.

Still no audio. I just don't get it. I don't understand what the hell I'm doing wrong with this. I'm not technologically illiterate. I'm able to research fairly well. Yet this just does not work despite knowing it's supposed to effectively be plug-n-play easy.

If anyone has time and knowledge to point me in a direction, I'd appreciate it. 'Cause I give up

I want 7.1 surroundsound functionality, but I'm not sure if it will work when I plug it into the back of the mic. Same goes for headsets with "THX Spatial Audio" instead of 7.1 surround sound.

I'm going to go ahead and throw the solution for my HD60 S+ suddenly losing audio in here because from what I saw when I was searching for a solution it doesn't seem to be super uncommon and I didn't see what worked for me posted anywhere else: disconnect the USB cable from your PC > go to Windows Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices > Game Capture HD60 S+ > Uninstall, and then once it is uninstalled plug the USB cable back in. After that I just had to add it as a source to OBS again and it is working perfectly.

Hello, I use the Stream Deck. I was wondering how to make a profile for a game. For example across the web there is multiple profiles you can download that use things in certain games, one example I have is a profile for when I am in Microsoft Flight Simulator it can show me my current throttle percent and other things. A switch will switch between two actions. So for example, you push it once an start streaming and push it again to stop streaming.

I did/do know that one can—and I have—use OBS and/or QuickTime on the Mac for the HD60 X currently.

That said, 4K Capture Utility on Windows enables some functionality for the HD60 X that one cannot get through OBS and/or QT alone (like changing the audio port)

In addition, with an HD60 S+ and Game
Capture HD on my Mac, I get less latency than going through the OBS-native source.

My hope is that a forthcoming Mac-version of 4K Capture Utility (or an updated GCHD) would provide the same level of native optimization and full functionality over using anything else.

I bought the HD60 X hoping for a bit of “future-proofing”, so if updated Mac software is being worked on but just not here yet…I’ll hold on to the HD60 X, and just get by with QT/OBS in the meantime.

However, if Elgato doesn’t even plan to bring feature-parity (including their software) to macOS, then I’ll know that the writing is on the wall that Mac support is being depreciated, and the Windows users will be getting more functionality for the same price.

In that case—I’ll return the HD60 X and just use the HD60 S+ until I can find a upgraded capture device from a different company.

A big part of what sold/brought me to the Elgato ecosystem was the software/hardware integration. If I’ll just be limited to using bog standard OBS, then the software half of that equation is gone and I’ll make plans to not invest any further into an ecosystem that won’t be fully supported in macOS.

So I use Elgato HD60 S+, and recently I've notice that most of the time the 4K Capture Utility software I used for Elgato just shows a black screen on the preview. It still displays fine on the TV. And oddly enough, it seems to display on OBS just fine too.

Hi all, I have got myself a HD60 X and got it hooked upto to my Xbox Series X and my Dell Inspirion Gaming PC that is running an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Graphics Card. The issue I am having is when I press the record button on the 4k Capture Utility I get an error that states to either ensure the Graphics Card drivers are up-to-date or that the Graphics card is in use by another video encoding application.

I have updated the driver manually through Nvidia Website and I have killed all processes that may have used the GPU (I have some coding applications that use the GPU) and I still get the message. Even restarting the machine and only running the 4k Capture Utility still produces the same outcome.

I have tried using OBS and Streamlabs, but there is an inconsistent audio delay between recordings and I assume this is down to the softwares write speeds as it isn't as simple as changing the sync settings.

Has anyone come across this and found a fix?

When I double click this short cut it works exactly as intended.

Unfortunately, the only solution I know of is throwing more hardware at it (dedicate a whole 3080 just to it, as apparently my 2080 dedicated wasn't sufficient at the time, even when I backed off on a lot of its settings). That's not to say I didn't miss something, I might have.

My suggestion would be to find other ways to mitigate noise, either finding times to stream/record that are simply quieter, or insulating the space (bookcases or blankets on the walls can help), but those aren't as easy as software that purports to do it, I'll grant you. Maybe someone else knows how to wrangle with it. 🙂

Hello, I have an HD60 Pro that I've had for a while, and while it used to work, now it does not. I've tried viewing it through OBS, Game Capture, and 4K Capture, and it all detects the card but says "no signal". We've tried troubleshooting with the HDMI cables, uninstalling and reinstalling the card's drivers and all of the capture software, and even trying different monitors and origin devices. I've tried with both a Switch and a PS4 Pro. It seems like the signal is getting lost when it hits the card because my monitor doesn't even detect a signal. Does anyone have any help because I feel like I've tried everything all of the online tutorials say to do to no avail

There are lots of factors at play here. Using JUST the noise removal uses about 3% GPU on a 2080 per Nvidia and uses about 16% more power than idle.

However, using the background removal filter uses a lot of resources.

I would try recording or monitoring voice only to see if you still experience issues.

Update the GPU driver and any firmware.

You also need to check the sample rate of your microphone

16bit 44100 is the max Nvidia broadcast can handle.

Not sure if right channel but...am I right in saying that the Connector Set is basically....not really usable? Mine came with a single soldier to female joint. Which I used to set up the T junction.

Is it normal to have different colors on different strips? Cause for some colors, its universal, and then some itll be different. Like dark blue will have my strip from a T junction as a deep red.

But green will be all green.
As will red.

It was a work around attempt because I can only get video to show using OBS and Streamlabs. I'm using Streamlabs at the moment with 4k Capture Utility and get a video just fine. I have not been able to get game audio.

I have been having issues with my Wave Link audio output just cutting in and out on everything, very annoying. It also crackles. When I dont use wave link and have stuff go directly to my headphones, no issues at all.

This has been an issue I have been dealing with on/off since February.

Device is plugged into USB 3.0 and I have tested all USB 3.0 ports on my pc, all the same issue.

I took It all apart and put the HDMI to my PC from the Input port and it shows my Capture card

but that's not the correct way to set it up the capture card

Like: 5 programs: chrome, minecraft, discord, opera, and task manager.
Bind the first program to a key, so at streamdeck it displays the chrome icon, with a click you open it. If you move the chrome to the third program, they all will switch.

I mean they're brand new strips n brand new connectors.

I cut the solder nearly perfect in the middle, and testing it by pushing down, the BLUE went through

which means that clearly at least 1 solder joint is not connecting to the very flimsy/low quality (imo :V) connector pins/strips.

If I have to PUSH DOWN HARD on the connector to make all the joints contact....

And as I understand it, Elgato does not offer replacements or assistance with any light strips cut for use with connector set so :V

so i switched from a hd60 pro capture card to a 4k60 mk2. Ever since switching the colors from the 4k60 mk2 is just off. It's the RED color that is throwing everything off. I have spent hours trying to adjust it in OBS and no matter what you do you just can't get the colors right because of this issue with the RED color profile. Anyone have a fix?

the inbuilt functionality with the app only toggles the audio stream, which is subtly different to a push-to-talk setup which is what I'm after

Yea that's whats doing it. That mix determines how much audio comes from the PC to your headphones versus how much audio from the microphone is sent to your headphones. That's the zero latency monitoring.

If you don't want to hear yourself, make sure that second slider stays all the way to the right

Bitrate has a negligible effect on performance. Resolution and FPS much more.

Previews in either program can be affected by other factors. Just double check the final recording to see if it's smooth.

So after the new Camera Hub update, my camera hub doesn't open at all. I click the icon to run it and nothing happens...previous version open up, but all I get is a black screen where the camera feed should be. The windows Camera app works fine. Every other app that uses a camera works fine except Elegato Camera hub....any idea wtf is going on?
