I am following up on an issue I had awhile ago with multiple stream decks switching profiles. We put it down to a USB hub issue however I feel that I've actually pinpointed it to an issue with using pages, multiple decks, and the application.
The issue can be replicated with only one deck actually plugged in, as long as there are multiple "devices" in the app.
Using a button to switch pages will change the currently selected deck to the profile/page, rather than changing the deck which button was pressed.

Some people say the order matters some say it doesn’t. I have a noise gate and noise suppression installed just not in use, yet.
It’s coming into the weather for extra fans and open windows. Those will add noise.
It kind of does make a difference as the VST are processed in top down order.
My thinking is Noise Gate First as the first line of defence. Then noise suppression to dull down background sounds that make it through noise gate.

Can you all help me understand precisely what's happening / how the StreamDeck works at its foundation? It got to a point where any profile actions (duplicating, deleting, copying from one XL to another) would take upwards of five to eight minutes...I then went through and manually resized every custom key image (I basically use only custom key images across many many panels) and deleted all old profile backups, which got the profile operations down to eight seconds, which is 1. obviously an enormous improvement and 2. makes me wish I'd known at go 72x72 is the recommended size 😅 Seems like maybe each profile operation was doing some validation or something for one or more profiles each time? And it was very, very slow with image sizes which required scaling for the keys.

I'm wondering now what the max size of each key image ought to be? (For example, animated gifs with lots of frames work but maybe that's also a factor) I imagine they're stored on the decks, but given how huge a time savings... are the images stored unscaled in the profiles? Are too-large scaled on the StreamDeck and not on the PC?

I picked up a cheap hd60 legacy capture card and it refuses to work with streamlabs. Went into windows update and got the proper drivers for the capture card and downloaded the software. Software is open and sensing the capture card. Not letting my Nintendo switch run through it or grabbing the picture. Also if the software is open it says that streamlabs sees it as opened in another application, even though the other app is how we are grabbing it

If you are getting a 502 bad gateway error, try resetting your router. Also, try removing the accounts in the stream deck software and adding them back.

Hey Elgato family, I have a dilemma and need some assistance. I have the Elgato Wave:1 mic and am looking into wireless headsets. My problem with most of these is that they are USB transmitters. The headset I’m looking at is the Corsair Virtuoso XT as I am wanting to stay in the Corsair family with all of my stuff. My question is, can I run a 3.5mm cable from the mic to my line-in jack on my pc, and use that as my monitoring input for audio directly from my mic? x-posted into wave-chat

As far as I am aware, I am an obs.live person, but I believe that is if you want to record on your pc in 1080 but only want to broadcast in 720. OBS has a similar option but not 100% with SLOBS.

I have been using my HD60s for almost 2 years with pretty much no issues. Recently, I moved my set up. All I did was unplug everything, move it, and plug everything back in. And now my capture card isn't working.

In streamlabs the game capture is blank black and in the elgato software It's telling me that I need to use a USB 3.0 port. I know that the port I'm using is a 3.0 and it is the same port that I've been using for 2 years and it has been working. Passthrough is still working, the gameplay shows up on the TV.

I've had a call with elgato support and we went through their troubleshooting checklist and nothing worked.

Does anyone know what might be the problem and how I can fix it?

Hey folks, I have a Camlink 4k that I'm running with a Sony A6400 alpha series camera to use as a webcam. I've always been running it at 1080 @ 60fps, but I wanted to change that to 1080 @ 30fps.

From what I've figured out from my experimentation with the A6400's settings, it looks like my only two options for outputting to HDMI are 24p or 60p. Can anyone confirm if there's a way to run it at 1080 @ 30p instead?

well looking at the LUA script for instant replay, its writing the buffer to disk. Then when you activate it, it writes it to a new place on the disk. So there is no way it is using less resources

its doing double the work of just recording

but anyway, like i said. put a sound in between each one and you will be able to tell whether the multi action is firing and OBS isn't running the action or whether the multi action isn't firing.

Hey, I have a question about setup. I got an HD60 S+, and I want to play music over a stream while in-game audio is playing. However, if I use desktop audio capture in OBS, it picks up the HD60 audio in that instance as well, so it sounds distorted. Is there a way to capture just the music without the game audio playing twice? I don’t know if I phrased that well

If you are looking at quality of video content, than yes. If you are looking at aesthetically pleasing, than no. I personally love having a minimalist setup though so that is my opinion. I used to have an HD60S+ and switched to the internal HD60 PRO so I could get rid of the extra box on my desk.

Need help on the HD60X, just to begin with, here's what I'm using:

Xbox Series X - Elgato HD60X - AOC Q27G2U Monitor - HP Gaming Laptop

So, Xbox to monitor works absolutely beautiful without any issues anywhere.
But Xbox to Capture Card to Monitor completely breaks my monitor image when ever I'm !in a game!, In the Xbox dashboard for example everything is fine.

The error it's having is the screen randomly turns black, details are missing or just a lot of flickering. In addition to that it's very unsharp and looks like I'm playing on a console from 1990 - at the same time the image i get in the 4k Utility App and in OBS is perfectly fine without any of the issues i have on my monitor.

Everything is up to date, all cables and inputs are well intact and I've tried about every setting on my monitor and Xbox

What I would recommend it closing out of your wavelink software and then discord completely. After both have closed, restart discord. Once discord has completely loaded, restart Wavelink. I have Voice Chat as the routing option, and I have Discord audio coming through into the software, but I can't get SoundPad, to come into Discord and OBS, it just goes though OBS, and I'm assuming this is because of the WaveLink software.

I somehow got it to work? I don't know if it's coming through Discord so others can hear it, but I think changing it to WaveLink Stream and Wavelink MicrophoneFX as the same input on SoundPad worked.

Have you had an update on your yeti mic or SD? If so, I would verify that both hotkeys are the same.

The first step I would take is to verify that you have the input and outputs correct. The first time I plugged mine in, I didn’t know which was which as I didn’t really look at the back plate. I struggled with that issue. Once I got them sorted, I simply turn on my console, and open the software. May take a moment or two to read but then it’s there.

The 4KCU as far as I’m aware is only for Capture Cards. If you are wanting to capture a game, you can do that directly within OBS/SLOBS.

If you are streaming from a console, then the audio should be routed through the capture card.

The camera works as intended for about 20-30 minutes then black screens, then the only way to get the camera to show up again is by unplugging and replugging in my cam link, closing and reopening obs, and then turning the camera off and on again in that exact order

for anyone else who just had the same issue as me with wavelink not recognizing your mic randomly (been using it for months with literally no issues)

C:\Program Files\Elgato\WaveLink\Firmware\DriverSetup - launch setup (to install drivers) it'll ask to reboot and then launch again

So the Wave software is proprietary to only Elgato Wave:1, Wave:3, and Wave:XLR. If you don’t have one of those three pieces from Elgato, the wavelink software will not work.

You are more than welcome. Depending on the mic you have, if it is an XLR mic, I would highly recommend the Wave:XLR but if not, when you are ready to upgrade, the Wave:3 is by far, TOP NOTCH.

@worldly grotto his SD would use the hotkeys while remoted into your pc to trigger the commands. Just set his keys to the hotkeys and with remote access, his hotkeys will trigger your commands on your pc.

Framerates other than 30 or 60 will be recorded as 30 or 60. If you are using your 4K60 Pro to capture a 120hz, 144hz, or 240hz source it will be recorded to a 60fps file. If you wish to record high framerate video from 4K60 Pro, you will need to use third party software.

Ok, this issue has been perplexing me for awhile now, I have 2 keylights, I can see them on my phones control center, but I am not able to see them on my stream deck connected to my pc. I use to be able to control them via it but over the last few months I have not been able to. I just reconnected them to my router via my phone 5 minutes ago but I am still not able to connect them on my stream deck. On my stream deck it says accessory not found.

Maybe a bit late but here ya go, To launch Elgato Sound Capture, either open the program via a desktop shortcut, from your program list, or click the settings button in the Sound Capture section in Elgato Game Capture HD software. 1) Set up your Elgato Gaming hardware with your console of choice. 2) Set Skype up for Elgato Sound Capture

also make sure the speaker output is set to ''Elgato ( sound capture)

If the resolution is too high, it moves too much frames per second and sometimes it can’t handle it, so moving the res down can reduce that

Could be anything really, just make sure everything is dusted and spotless, even a slight blockage can stop cables from plugging in properly

If I were you I’d get a dry paper towel and rub around where you plug the hdmi in, then lightly blow into the plug part of the hdmi cable and that should reduce the blockage if there is one, if not, I’m sure #official-tech-support could help you out

Go to the Stream Deck section of the Actions List, and choose Delay. Drag it to your open Multi Action window. You can choose as many Delays as you want. They are measured in milliseconds

If it’s not the games problem try Click on the settings icon near the top right of the audio mixer panel to open the Advanced Audio Settings. 2. In the Advanced Audio Settings, find the Sync Offset column and set the delay to 200ms for the audio source.

And if it’s video delay that’s normal and I don’t think there is a way to stop it

Something had caused the Power Plan to set itself to “Extreme Performance”.
Get into you PC settings, look for Power then Power Plan.
If it’s not set on “Balanced” that “might” be the issue.?

Check the Game Audio section of the Elgato Game Capture HD software to make sure the audio is set to use the right volume level, and is not muted. If that doesn’t work you may be using HDMI video with Analog Audio cables, but the "Analog Audio" setting is turned off.

If that isn’t the case try doing #official-tech-support

I have a weird issue with my Facecam since a week.

As soon as I start recording or streaming with obs studio or streamlabs (tried both) the camera just turn off.

It works fine in preview in the software as long as I am not recording or streaming.

I’m having trouble using hd60 X with my xbox series x . I updated the firmware, put the EDID to monitor (on 4K utility) but cannot active 1440 p , VRR and 120 Hz at the same time.
Only 1440p and 120 hz (without vrr) or 1080p 120 hz (with vrr).
Is there someone facing the same issue ?

Hi everyone just looking for advice. I have an elgato hd60s. Managed to get it workingnwith an i3 pc which i knownis not idea but it works mostky for what i need. Picks up microphone perfectly. But when i have game music coming in from the xbox one on elgato, OR got someone else chatting on xbox party chat, it cuts out and stutters so much.. Im not sure if im doing something wrong, or its just cause the laptop i have and it buffers too much or something. Any help is grateful??

Not sure if anyone needs this info, but it took me all day to fix this issue and I thought I'd share. My HD60 X was having audio drift when streaming from my Xbox Series X. Over time, the game audio got further and further behind the video feed. To fix it, I ended up muting the audio on the HD60 X video source and adding it again under an "Audio Input" in OBS. This completely fixed my issue. Hope this helps someone and saves you more time than me!

Hey everyone, I'm hoping I can find some help from the community for an issue I'm running into.
So I have the Wave 3 and absolutely loved it! However, about 3 weeks ago I did an update and it's been downhill from there. ): After the update, I lost all my settings in the Wave 3 and had to redo them from scratch. After redoing the settings I found that there is now a persistent crackling/static noise whenever I'm receiving audio from a browser, discord, apps etc. I've tried uninstalling Wave 3 and reinstalling 3 times and checked all of my connections. I connected the usb to another port and the same issue persists. I also updated my audio drivers and it still continues. My twitch stream is also giving a weird audio sound for some reason.

Any tips? Looking for a friend! ❤️
