anybody here ever have an issue with key light airs? right now I can only control them through the IOS app and control center on my PC is finding them but after at least a minute of attempting to connect - it says connection failed. This all just started happening out of nowhere

Could be an encrypted signal (HDCP) can be disable on the console, but disabling it would prevent playback of certain content. (Usually movies). Could also be a faulty cable or capture card. Try changing the cable and if possible the source device. A computer with hdmi output would be a good test.

Anyone got tips on capture flickering and tearing with Game Capture 4K60 Mk2 when capping in 4k? The passthrough is fine on my other screen, but the capture in either OBS or AmarecTV keeps flickering when I've set PS5 to output in 4K, or my Xbox XS to 1440p -- if I set either console down to 1080p it's fine. I've changed HDMI cables around many times.

Update on what, sorry? My consoles as well as the driver on my streaming PC should be up to date. I recall the 4K capture was fine when I got the card last fall but haven't used it in a while, and now I can't seem to get it to work without flickering unless I go down to 1080p.

so since someone else in this chat is having the same issue i think its safe to assume the big bad elgato 4k60 pro mk2 is a piece of crap

Hey Guys! My key light air has fully just, broke...

I usually have it linked up with Lumia Stream nicely, so when i open lumia stream, it turns on, and turns off once closed. But it has fully just disconnected, When i press the power button, it goes full 100% brightness, it's also disconnected from my control center app, which is the only way to control it... I've tried the reset button, holding for 10 seconds etc, but it does absolutely nothing, no blinking or anything.

It also isn't showing up on my wifi connections...
if anyone can help, please @ me... this is such a necessity for my streams otherwise i have 0 lighting haha..

what’s the issue? Maybe if you mention, we can help, but updating firmware isn’t ideal unless Elgato advises to do so. There could be other issues, via an update. Please keep that in mind. Usually the products are 100% working out of the box. If it’s a function etc… maybe we can help. @shadow anchor is a stream deck dev. maybe he could help too!

Because of the symptoms you described to me, I do believe it's a hardware issue. The update correlation may have just been an unfortunate coincidence. I hope they are able to resolve it for you.

If you want to be sure, take it to another computer and try it there.

If it behaves the same then it's more than likely a hardware issue. If it behaves normally then it could be an issue with your system or possibly something else.

I had something similar that did require a firmware update. Wait for support, if anything they may send you something to update if needed. I would recommend following their steps first, and run the diagnostics. Then also, screenshot everything, as I had to do that in mine. Hopefully that helps when working with them.

if you can create a hotkey in the game for that specific action, you should be able to create that same hotkey in the stream deck and it will have the same functionality. So say you have D for dodge ingame, if you set up D as a hotkey in the stream deck software it should do the same thing

New Wave Link update seems to have broken the 'Toggle Monitor Mix' button on my stream deck. In the stream deck software it says to "Please Launch Wave Link", which is already running. I've tried replacing the button, restarting all the things. Still doesn't recognize that the Wave Link software IS running. I was using this to switch between my Headphones (connected to the WAVE XLR directly) and my external speakers (connected to the headphone jack on my computer). Worked fine before the update. Now it doesn't. Previously I was using the 'Toggle Audio Device' button on my Stream Deck but that also doesn't work with the WAVE XLR. I'd be happy to get either option working again.

I have a random action button on my Stream Deck with 256 actions, each tells a joke in my Twitch chat.

Suddenly, the button doesn’t work at all. It shows a check mark after I press it but there’s no message in my Twitch chat.

I checked to make sure and every action has my Twitch account on it.

What could the problem be? I have several random action chat message buttons like that and none of them are working either.

Oh it’s working now, just had to re-connect my Twitch account even though it said it was connected.

Not sure, but it's worked for literally over a year now perfectly fine with everything. All of a sudden, the light can be turned on and off, it's full 100% brightness and no longer is connected to my app / lumiastream / anything.

It can't be reset either, I hold it at the back for 10 seconds for the 3 flickers, nothing... Can't be found on my wifi list, can't be connected etc.

any ideas about why this is happening? ONLY happens in the 4k capture utility / OBS Studio, does NOT happen in the passthrough, so it is not an issue with the cable going into the capture card's input, or I'd be experiencing this on the passthrough as well. This must be an issue with the card itself, the software, the PCIe interface or my mobo or configuration, something like that. It is in a slot that runs at pcie x4. this problem is intermittent, it does not always happen, but when it is happening it is constant and frequent, sometimes restarting my pc will solve it but sometimes it will not, and no specific action to resolve seems to work 100% of the time, sometimes I just restart and I'm lucky and it works.

So I just moved my OBS install out of my C-drive for space, efficiency and organization, and when trying to reinstall all of my previous OBS plugins, I found that my Stream Deck isn't working with OBS anymore. After looking around on Elgato's site for answers, I found something saying the Stream Deck only works with OBS if OBS is installed in the default path.

Is there any way to circumvent this so I can still use what I invested a decent amount of money into?

do you have a recommendation? I've pretty much just been using sound settings/volume control via Windows. When I check the "Listen to this device" box and play with gain knob on the mic, I sound loud and clear in my own headphones

but in discord my friends say I sound soft and some have to boost me to 200% to be heard. If I turn my gain up more, then say it sounds much better, but it also picks up more background noise and still doesn't reflect the volumes I hear when I test it myself. That's why I thought perhaps it was more a function of discord (perhaps the audio codecs or post processing effects) than my mic settings.

to that end, I've turned off as much as I could.

I have been having new, consistent problems with using the elgato HD60+ capture card while streaming. It used to work just fine through 6+ hour streams, but more recently it consistently freezes while streaming through OBS to twitch.
I bought brand new HDMI cords, I use a USB 3.0 port, and I have tried both adding the elgato as a source in OBS AND by screen capturing the 4k Capture Utility. No matter what I try to troubleshoot, the elgato keeps freezing in the middle of use/stream. I then have to unplug and replug the elgato to try again.

I would really like to get to a point where this is not as much of an issue so would appreciate being able to pick anybody's brain on how to get this to stop happening.

You have to find a usb card that will match that PCIE slot.

IN connects to console, OUT connects to your TV/Gaming Monitor, USB-C connects to your Capture Card, and the other end connects to your Streaming PC’s USB 3.0 port on the motherboard. Do not use a USB hub, as it will not work. As for the wireless headset, you’ll probably have a 1 sec delay, but if you connect it wired, it will work 100% not latency. Are you using chat link, or just directly to PC for audio?

Look for something called Scene Transitions, and if it’s a Stinger, you want to add it. As for the muting, you can install the streamdeck plugin for Streamlabs and set your mic source up to mute, and unmute.

Hey guys, it's officially been 2 weeks since my Keylight air fully stopped working in terms of wifi control.

It can be turned off and on to 100% brightness, that's it.

It can't be reset from the back, I've held the button for 30+ seconds multiple times and no flashes happen.

Hello, not sure if this is the best place, but I need assistance with the Wave Link software. When routing Spotify through the Music input there is no audio, but if I switch it to something else like AUX or SFX there is audio. I am using the Wave XLR.
So I had this issue a few months ago and now it returned with a new software and firmware update: The audio that gets send through the monitor mix to my default playback device suffers from a volume loss.
The first time it was like 80% of a volume loss. Now, the 2nd time it's around 40-50%.
I reinstalled the latest wave link software and the software of my default playback device the monitor mix gets send to. Both didn't solve the issue. Also all volume meters in wave link are set to 100%: Within the windows sound settings and the wavelink software.
When using a different playback device it works flawless. Using a pair of the Sony WF-100XM4. It's so frustrating, because it seems like you can't do anything about it and it's just random, if it works or not.

Has anyone the same issue? Seems like there are many ppl having issues with the new software and firmware.

@fickle pulsar so unfortunantly I'm running into another issue after rewatching my stream footage. My voice, game audio, and discord audio are clipping hardcore and sometimes the game audio and discord audio sound like they are struggling to compete I guess could be the best way to describe it.

I'm having trouble with the Discord plugin for Stream Deck on my Mac. Stream Deck sends me to Discord and I Authorize the app, but the buttons don't do anything. There's also nothing in the dropdowns when I choose a Voice Channel or Text Channel action. Anyone else seen this?

I don’t know who to ask or what settings to look for but my stream looks great but as soon as I start running around where there’s motion, the entire stream goes blurry (pixelated), even webcam. Why would my actions in game effect the quality of stream, including webcam (totally different video source).

Your bitrate is pretty low. It's set to 2000. If your resolution is now at 1080p, it's normal that movement gets blurry and very pixelated. Up your bitrate, if your mac and internet connection can handle it and or lower your resolution to 720p.

I've tried and it doesn't work. I also tried to uninstall wave link and install the latest version but it gives me an error as soon as I start the app (the app installs itself). I am attaching the error below.
Then I have another problem: I uninstalled wave link and then reinstalled it (version 1.4.0) and it works, but to start it I have to unplug the microphone otherwise it won't start.

That's just the dashboard app. It's integrated. Somewhere I disabled the Streamlabs Desktop integration. Just a dumb moment on my part. Thank you for the reply.

The only other thing I recall is to not run it through a USB hub. My CamLink is plugged directly to the PC.

Hello all! I recently got an HD60 S capture card to connect my Xbox One to my PC. To enable my OBS Studios to receive the game chat audio, I bought the Chat Link Pro and connected as instructed. Afterwards, I marked my audio in the Elgato app to Analog Audio and I can hear the game chat and audio. The problem is, I can actually hear myself now through my headset mic which is somehow being picked up by the chat cable. From my understanding, this is not supposed to occur. Can anyone help me understand why this is occurring and what a fix might be? I already have an external mic for my stream audio, so this extra mic audio coming through the chat cable is distracting to say the least. Thank you!

Thanks for responding! I have it set to output to Headset. Before the chat cable, it would only pick up Party Chat through the HDMI. When I changed it to Analog Audio on the HD60 S, and plugged in the chat cable, then I could hear them in stream but also now myself faintly.

With it on HDMI, it wouldn't pick up the chat link cable audio so the game chat was still not going to OBS.

It is an odd conundrum that I have found.

With the analog, it pulls all the audio from my controller instead. Which with the chat cable configuration doesn't make sense to me as to how the mic audio gets to the capture card.

I have previously had a similar issue, the thing I did was switch my chat output to speakers instead of headset, which then allowed my capture card to hear game chat audio. You should not need the chat link cable.

Have you checked HDCP settings on the other consoles? If that's on, you won't pass signal through a capture device.

What do you mean by too light? If you are trying to mount it to a standard mic boom arm, all you have to do is tighten the arm so that it doesn't move. If you are mounting it to a Multi-Mount or Elgato Mic arm, you will be fine.

I found out today that when my KeyLights were on, they had a big impact on my network. They are connected to the same wifi as my PC but not to the same electrical outlet.
I use a repeater that goes through the power line to get the wifi from the router in the house.

Wireless devices will use all the bandwidth a connection can provide. As more devices need bandwidth, each device will get less o a share. You can limit\throttle usage per device or assign priority to certain devices (QoS) in your router, i it supports it. Most do.

Yeah it had a new one today that i installed before trying the ports. Other friends i know are able to use Cam Link 4K in it fine.
The Cam Link works fine in other apps like Zoom, Discord, OBS, etc

With all the issues you are having with your machine, you really need to run a chkdsk, DISM, and SFC /scannow on your PC. Something is wrong and its most likely not the stream deck. I can link you instructions if you need them. ALso, make sure your BIOS and all drivers are up to date.

Hello - I'm running a stream deck xl with xsplit - none of my random action folders work (sometimes). I have discerned no criteria as to why it stops working. It will work well for 2-3 days then the next time i boot xsplit, it gives a flickering checkmark but does nothing. sometimes a few minutes after i've pressed random folder actions it will play them and then work fine. Tonight, nothing. I had been out of superstition arrow-keying through all the items in the random folders - and that seemed to help sometimes, but tonight, nothing.

Good Morning yall! I apologize for the silly question, but I recently upgraded from an HD60 S to a 4K60 S+, I installed everything as instructed but seem to be running into a few issues:

-I am not getting any audio from my PS5, XBONE, or Switch, but I am getting audio on my GameCube (which is very odd). I've tried both OBS Studio and the 4K Capture Utility and no luck. I've unplugged, and replugged everything in, Uninstalled and re-installed the 4k utility capture and still nothing. I've also tried troubleshooting as instructed on the website, and alas, no luck.

-At random moments, the video will disappear and switch to a static-like green screen and will not show gameplay again unless I unplug and re-plug everything in.

Hey guys. New to the server so I hope I can find the answers I need. I am desperately trying to make the sliders work on the Wave Link software, but no matter what I try, they just don't work. I was under the impression that all the sound goes through the software and so when you move a slider to lower the volume, it will then automatically lower the volume on OBS.

I may be completely wrong with the above, but any help would be appreciated.

If anyone knows of a complete tutorial for adding things like Spotify, Browser and others and then show it working properly on OBS, that would be appreciated.

If you are looking to add audio sources to WaveLink, you need to click the three lines located in the top right of the Wavelink window. This will direct you to the Windows settings page for audio routing. Make sure that all of the apps you want to control are open. Select the appropriate app and change the output to Browser, Music, etc.

To change the volume going to OBS, you need to make sure that your OBS Audio Input is set to Wave Link Stream. Go to Settings, Audio, and Mic/Auxiliary Audio and Set to Wave Link Stream. This will then bring your stream output to OBS.

Thanks for the reply. I have done all of that already with Spotify and Browser, but when I move the slider on Wave Link, nothing happens. It is very hard for me to explain what I mean as I am not very technical when it comes to issues like this. All I know is that when I add an audio source on OBS and I name it Spotify, I know then to select the input for it as music and to make sure that is selected on the windows setting page.

Also, when I select Game Capture HD 60S, the slider doesn't work. Is there not a comprehensive guide somewhere that goes through everything on an individual basis at all?

Is there a way to easily "copy and paste" the VST filters (and their settings) from one Input to another? I don't see any option to do so in Wave Link itself, but perhaps by moving or tweaking some files?

I have some Compressor settings for my Browser to avoid loud noises, but would like a way to easily copy it to the rest of my Inputs.

If your sound isn't working through Wave Link, check to make sure your programs are feeding the audio correctly to the Wave Link Inputs in the Windows Sound menu. These things here:

OBS might be picking it up programs that are just set to "Default" audio devices.

Hello, I'm having severe issues with the Elgato HD60S and Windows 11 for a while now, and it's just getting worse. Right now, I'm trying to stream Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Granted every time I start up OBS, I get a page indexing error that causes my computer to crash. For a while, I was getting no display on my monitor, but capture in OBS. The game volume is 10x louder than any of my other audio outputs and the only solution that allows my viewers to hear everything that I've found makes it to where I can't hear the game. I'm trying to stream a console game so the game and the console don't have any audio sliders for me to adjust on that end.

Hi when I select as a separate source on the wave link software the elgato HD60s, what do I do on obs with the video capture device properties? Do I need to alter anything on there to ensure the audio is routed correctly to the wave link software at all?

Alright, so if you seperate the sources from the wave link software, you have to manually adjust them in OBS volume slider

It's not just that, it's the audio from the game too through the HD60s

Play the audio. Stream for a few seconds and watch your own stream to make sure the music is coming through

yup its the 4k pro one as you can see in video where it drops out to show elgato no signal i plug it direct to TV its fine .. if i wanna try to capture or live stream then it drops the signal each time

I haven't, but I believe it is not recommended to use a hub. For a few reasons but trouble shooting and bandwidth issues will be the main thing

There are usb expansion card that go in to pcie ports. You can use a hub for some things but you probably want to avoid the facecam and wave being on it. Depending on the quality of video and sound you probably don't want them on the same internal USB controller either. But that would be a test and see kind of thing

Does anyone have a solution for being able to open Microsoft Store apps with a Stream Deck command? Specifically the System > Open command (or another command). And not a solution that involves giving myself access to the WindowsApps folder.
EDIT: Never mind, I figured out a workaround by creating shortcuts. Tedious, but it does what I want.

Hi everyone I have found an interesting issue with Camlinks (but it's wider than just camlink)
I have a SecretLab Titan Fabric chair, I have just made a new cable management for my system and the camlink is 60cm close from the chair (so i can have an eye on the small camlink led)
When I get up i feel some static electricity, and after having walked away from my chair I hear the usb disconnection windows sound and my camlink feed gets green and freezes.
I need to unplug replug the camlink to fix the issue.
I had heard that this was a static issue, but do you know what I can do to fix this?

Trying to see if anyone has audio issues with the PS5 and trying to play games at 120hz while connected to the HD 60s+. prior to PS5 3/27 software update i had no issues playing games on 120 if they allowed it. Now I had weird noises when trying to play at 120hz. I already put a trouble ticket in with them. When connected to the monitor directly I have no issues either only with the capture device. Attached are 2 vids. 1st is at 60 hz no prob. The 2nd is me starting warzone and attempting to play at 120hz.

Hey All, Hoping to get some help. I have had 2 elgato key lights for quite a while, working great. This afternoon (for no apparent reason) They both lost their wifi connections, are no longer showing in control center on PC or mobile. I reset both and am trying to reconnect. On the PC I can see them and can select my Wifi, and cosntantly get the same error (pictured). I have verified my WiFi credentials are correct. I did the same troubleshooting through the phone app as well, and the issue there is once i get the wifi connection screen, I do not even see my wifi as a choice. Looking for other methods to try and fix the issue. Any help is greatly appreciated

This capture card is only capable of 1080 60fps with HDR. No capture card is doing VRR hdmi 2.1 yet, but depending on certain consoles you can reach 120 with 1080p. I did a video on Xbox Series X. Then again I am using 4K60Pro MK.2

make sure your wifi is 2.4HZ and I usually setup mobile ex: iOS via my iPhone, and the make sure in software things work before testing on LAN with my PC.

In my experience, there are variances sometimes in the color fidelity between SD devices. I would open an official support ticket #official-tech-support .

Corsair iCue 4.22.203 has broken the iCue plugin (again). I'm running 5.2.1.15025 of the SD software on Win10. I've tried uninstalling, deleting both the Plugins folder and PluginStoreCache contents, reinstalling, shutting down and restarting iCue (wait 60s) & restarting SD software. Still, I get the "Update Required" error.

I can't find a link to the previous iCue installer to downgrade to either. Any help would be appreciated.

i think its my fault for maybe not being specific. I understand that the HD60S+ only does 1080p60.

however, the PS5 and certain games i can play on 120hz.

So I was able to play lets say warzone with my PS5 and monitor on 120hz while connected to the HD60S+. However, now it won't work. I am not saying there is anything wrong with the capture card itself. This all started with the recent PS5 software update.
