• Go to File > Settings > Advanced and change the Audio Monitoring Device to your headset.
• Under the Mixer display, click on the setting icon (cog) of anything that is there and go to Advanced Audio Properties.
• Change the Audio Monitoring of your HD60S+ to Monitor and Output.

unfortunately, you seem to already know everything. which means you can't be helped. Every detail matters. not just PS3 consoles. If a you think the source console is a "stupid f@#@ question" then you not only wrong, but impossible to help. HDCP is on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, ON AND ON AND ON.

Hey guys, i need some help here. My Wave: 1 got some problems these days. Wave link program kept shutting down everytime and i decided to leave the beta version and moving to the 1.3 again. I've uninstalled with keep no data option. After i install the 1.3 version i clicked on update firmware button them my microphone started an update window. From that its ok but the bar don't progresses since like 1 hour, not progress at all, keeps 10% stuck all time and i can't reset the process or shutdown/unplug my mic. What should i do now??

Mayby this is the right place?? quick question. My desk is too thick and has a skirt going around the desk not allowing me to use the normal mounting devices. Is it possible to use. Is there a permanent mounting solution that I can use (even if I have to screw it into the desk)?

Yeah. After the test I plugged it into different USB ports and as soon as I plugged in the Wave XLR I got a message on the computer saying the USB port surged. I unplugged everything and tested the ports (3.0 & 3.1) and they worked fine. The Webcam, when I open the app, freezes after 3 seconds after this started.

I used both of them for 2 days after that test, and they worked fine. Today though, both of them stopped.

Im having an issue with my dual pc setup and making the refresh rate of my gaming monitor stay the same. I have everything set up and the recording side of things looks good, same with the settings. My main monitor is a 360hz but will randomly feel like the refresh rate lowers or changes in the middle of my gameplay even when im not recording. Does anyone have any ideas as what fix there may be to this?

I have tested this out without the screen duplication and I never have this problem. Tried getting a elgato hd60 pro for my streaming pc hoping this will fix me being able to play with uncapped frames but now this is happening. Any help will be appreciated

Anyone else have issues controlling lighting with the stream deck? I have the Elgato Key Light and Light Strip? it appears to be all set up correctly, but pressing the power on one only turns one on. Sometimes it's just the key light, sometimes it's just the Light Strip. Seems to swap when ever I reset the PC. Note that On the control center they function perfectly fine. If I turn the light strip on via the control center, the stream deck will even show the light strip on. But when I try to turn it off via the stream deck, it just turns the key light on. Seems odd, but not sure if this is some sort of known issue or not.

Not showing up in the plugin list, and trying to uninstall it via the store doesn't do anything

Hello, I have a problem. When I use the wave link and for discord I put "Wave Voice Chat" the sound is out of sync when someone speaks and the same when I launch a youtube video, the sound is out of sync when I stop the video when I activate the "Wave Link Browser". But when I put my headphones on, I don't have any problem with the sound lag. Do you know how to fix this problem? I thank you in advance!

so Xbox Series X was able to passthrough this, with a HDMI 2.0 gaming monitor. via the highest resolution it could go. for 144hz I wasn't able to reach this. my monitor is also HDMI 2.0 but caps at 165hz.

i think if you just go to settings, in the xbox, and change just the refresh rate, it will auto adjust to the highest it can go, like mine did. it was fairly easy.

hey so I am trying to use my Samsung S21 Ultra with my Elgato 4k Capture card, and when I plug it in I get no signal, but I get signal on other devices such as my other PC. Does anyone know how to get the visual from the phone to the elgato ?

Android devices aren't really supported as a lot of them have HDCP encryption that's really hard to disable. Since the 4k60 gets signal from other devices I'd contact Samsung or check your manual to see if HDCP is involved and if it's able to be turned off.

i have a monitor i use dedicated to console gaming, which is connected to my pc through my elgato hd60s. my town had a couple power outages this morning, and now my elgato/monitor is only displaying blue, whether i have my console turned on or not. im assuming this is an elgato issue, since when i unplug it from the monitor, the monitor acts as normal when theres no source for it to find.

OK, I'm having an issue with my Wave Link program for my Wave 1 mic, ever since the update (that got screwed up causing me to redownload what I thought was the update) to the program which failed. I downloaded and installed what I thought was the latest Wave Link, and now every time that my computer either restarts or I try to get into the program to stop that, 1)It keeps asking me if I wanted to allow the program to make changes to the computer, and 2) won't let me actually into the program to deal with the whole making changes to the program. What in the world is going on here?

every company is different. Sometimes it requires a manual update depending on companies. I don’t see it as a big deal to go to the site, and download, install. I think we get use to something, and when change happens we don’t like it as people, but that’s when being adaptable helps. Hopefully it wasn’t too much of an inconvenience though. 😅

No actually it was more than helpful to be honest. I needed to do the update because at the start of all this, my Wave 1 mic started turning off the white ring around the button, I figured that I just needed to change the USB slot, and nope that wasn't it. So I went into the Wave Link program, and it turned out that an update was needed, and when it asked me to restart my computer, I picked later, and when I tried to keep everything going after I shut it all down, I'm getting told by the program that what I'm looking for isn't there any more. Namely because the files dealing with all of that were already removed for the update. However since I couldn't finish the update, I figured that I would just download the update from the site, and that's when I discovered the bad version and downloaded that, only for it to be completely bugged, and then getting your amazing help to actually get it fully fixed, for which I will always be thankful for.

I'd have to start the whole process over from scratch, but I think it might have something to do with NOT having a folder specified for VST2 plugins, only the defaulted VST3 folder.

Much of the stuff we did I had already done. The only difference was creating a new, empty VST2 folder and setting that folder in Wave Link, and installing one additional plugin to see if THAT one worked. When we checked, both were there. So, it's either something to do with a solo plugin, or the VST2 folder not being set is my guess.

When I have some more time tonight I can try to duplicate the issue again.

VST2 is usually at the folder location C:\Program Files\VSTPlugins

folder location for VST2 which helped locate via C:\Program Files\VSTPlugins, also he had to reinstall the software. BTW working with @gaunt mesa the bin folder for noise suppression vst needs to be in C:\Program Files\VSTPlugins for it work. that wasn't clear on github via recommended VST's.

I've done it twice so far. First thing in the morning, I turn my computer on fully before shutting it down partway in order to leave it with only slight power in order to charge my Astro A50 headset. However upon turning my computer on fully, that's when it asks to make the changes, the first time I said yes, and nothing happened. I even opened the program to see what was up, didn't know where to go, and I was half asleep at the time. The second time was when I turned the computer fully on for the day, and that time I just canceled it. I really don't know what to make of this.

you could use spotify to your desktop audio via audio mixer, but all systems sounds will come through. are you using wave link, cause if so then you could actually setup music as an input.

@clever mirage I can't post an image in the #archived-wave-link-beta channel, so I'm replying to you here. If you can have someone confirm for you that you aren't actually broadcasting audio that whole time, this is usually because your voice settings in Discord are set up like the image below, or you have PTT on and constantly active. This is a normal setup, because once you have mic filters active in Wave Link, you don't need Discord to also try and manage your mic quality -- the solution would be to just turn up the slider as little to the right as possible, so Discord doesn't keep your mic channel open constantly. Hope this helps.

Your passthrough (the cord that goes out from your capture card to the monitor) will always have less delay, but depending on the capture card you have, it will be negligible between what you're seeing in your game capture. It will also depend on personal preference and what game you're playing. For example, I don't care about a few ms delay when I'm playing Animal Crossing, but if I was playing an FPS, it would matter more. Hope this helps.

Hello! I have the elgato facecam and for some reason it keep dimming the xmas lights in my background until I move a finger up to the camera and then they come back.

I have turned off ALL "auto" options I could find in the software and saved and I cant find any other settings that I think would cause this to happen.

for voicemod, I'm being told voicemod needs to be running for the button to function. However, it's open. I've tried reinstalling the mod, unplugging the stream deck and plugging it back in, etc. Any other potential fixes?

Try the following:

- Reboot your PC.
- With VoiceMod Closed, Uninstall the VoiceMod Plugin for Stream Deck.
- Remove all keys created for VoiceMod from all Stream Deck Profiles.
- Right Click the Stream Deck Software icon in the tasktray, select "Quit Stream Deck".
- Restart the Stream Deck Software from the Windows Start Menu.
- Re-Install the VoiceMod plugin for the Stream Deck from the Elgato Plugin Store.
- Re-Create your keys if the first one works properly.

So I purchased a Cam Link Pro a month ago to increase my camera hdmi inputs. I've been having a reoccurring problem where whenever I plug in my cameras
(sony a5100 & sony a6000) my camera feed on OBS studio will glitch every couple minutes or sometimes seconds (EXAMPLE: video below around 2 seconds
on my hat and 13 second mark on my mouth)

This only happens when I use the Cam Link Pro, when I plug my cameras into my regular Cam Link 4k's they work fine. PLEASE HELP!

Hi, I run a dual pc stream setup with the 4k60pro mk2 and i just reformatted my gaming pc. I'm having the issue of sometimes when i alt tab from a full screen game (apex legends) or even sometimes launching it and i have like a twitch video open, the game would crash, elgato would crash and say no signal/not show up on nvidia displays list either, i would either have to 1. restart either pc. or 2. go to nvidia control panel and go to set up multiple displays --> my display is not shown and it will re scan and re-enable/turn on elgato again

i have zero issues with anything crashing when my stream pc is off or elgato is disabled, so i was able to pinpoint something going on clashing between elgato and my full screen applications

ive tried lookin for hours and i can't seem to figure it out if anyone could kindly help me 🙂

Please check the installation location for the Stream Deck software and OBS. If they are installed on 2 different drives or partitions for example (Drive:C and Drive D:, or both on any other Drive than the C: Drive - which is usually where Windows 10 is installed), then this may already be a reason for this problem.

In this case, please uninstall OBS and the Stream Deck Software.
- Install OBS Studio onto the default Drive C:

one more thing to add to my post above, i just tested loading the game without a video running and it doesnt seem to crash. i tried reinstalling graphics driver using DDU but same issue persists, seems like im getting some sort of overload when having elgato on, a video, and launching a full screen application. could it be as simple as hdmi cable going bad and not being fast enough? the weird thing was i didnt have this issue prior to reformatting

Hey, mayby somebody has a solution to my issue. I did install some VST plugins (EQ, reaPlugs) and I wanted to use VoiceFX aswell. I installed the 0.3.1 version but when I click on "Scan plugin folders", it says no audio plugins have been found. VoiceFX is installed in the correct folder (Program Files-Common Files-VST3). Its the only plugin that im having issues with so far.

I'm having a bit of a perplexing issue. I have a Wave:1 and with the recent update to Wave Link, I was trying to apply the HomeCorrupter vst3 to the mic channel to check it out. However, while it's installed correctly, wave link doesn't seem to detect it while other apps do.

Hi, I'm using 4k Capture utility.
I somehow changed a setting where I lowered the volume of the capture too much, and I can't find the setting to change the volume to go back up. I can only find settings to change the volume of my microphone but not of the game capture itself. Is there a way to fix this?

I'm attempting to fix this because any footage captured has very minimal game audio, whether it be SLOBS or 4K capture utility itself. Would nice to be able to record footage with audio

I have elgato sound capture open on my gaming pc which is showing it is capturing audio, but it is not getting received from neither obs or elgato 4k utility software on my streaming pc. Oh, hey @shadow anchor 🙂 So, just removing the VST and disabling it in NVIIDIA Broadcast didn't do the trick, but Uninstalling the AudioEffects SDK, VoiceFX , and then rebooting WaveLink did.

I knew Broadcast itself was solid, since I've been using it for video for a while now.

Just an update on the no sound in wave program, uninstalling it again, restarting the pc after changing settings and rebooting it fully fixed it, and didnt like the voice playback delay and made me sad for trying to figure it out XD

once again, if you don't want to pass through the switch directly to your monitor, you need to use the 4K Capture Utility, which will display your capture card's input inside of an app on your PC.

I switched internet providers today and when I have gone to reconnect my x2 Elgato Key Light Air, I get the message after a long "Connecting" saying "Connection failed. Can't get IP address of "Elgato Key Light ####".

I have reset the Key Lights as per instructions on Elgato Site, and they have blinked 3 times to confirm reset.

The Wave XLR will drive your SM7B just as good as your GoXLR will. I do believe it technically has a slightly more powerful preamp than the GoXLR does, but this does not necessarily mean higher quality -- Elgato does not advertise the source of the mic preamp like the GoXLR does. It's up to you whether this is concerning or not. That being said, I know there are plenty of people very happy with their Wave XLR and SM7B combo. Hope this helps.

OK so i think your issue is that the hd60s+ only captures at that 1080p60. . I would take a look at the below article. Basically you are going to use the nvidia control panel to force that elgato mirrored to be at 1080p60hz.

Anything higher than 60fps is not supported by the HD60S+, for capture or passthrough. The easiest way to make this work is to connect the Elgato to its own HDMI port on your gaming PC. Head into your Windows display settings, and make sure the Elgato (seen by your PC as another monitor) is set to 1080p/60, and your gaming monitor set to whatever resolution / framerate you'd like. To get the Elgato to actually see your game, the easiest method is to open OBS and add a Game Capture source with your game, then right-click inside the preview and use the Fullscreen Projector feature to output to the Elgato.

Is there any way to display the time passed livestreaming from OBS Studio? I'm looking for a proper way to display the time the livestream has been live. So the value named "LIVE" in the bottom border to the right. Do you have any idea?

Hey Everyone,

i have the Wave 3 and a StreamDeck.
I like that you can control the different sound channels with that.

Unfortunately i have to restart my StreamDeck Software every time i start my pc because the WaveLink Shortcuts don't work (not loaded?).

I think this is because the StreamDeck Software starts faster then WaveLink and it can't load it correctly.
Really annoying.

Someone got an idea on how to fix it?
i would like to still have both software in my auto start

Create a .bat file with a pause between wave link and stream deck software. (use: timeout /t 10 /nobreak > NUL). If you can't, I will write one in vbscript assuming you have everything installed in the default directories.

i recently got a dell 1905FP monitor and i want to use it to play games on my switch while also using an HD60S to capture gameplay. however, the 1905FP only takes VGA (d-sub) input

in order to put my switch gameplay on the monitor, could i just use an HDMI to VGA cable to connect the capture card to the 1905FP?

I will let someone else field this. My thought is , Yes it would work. How well? I have no idea how well it will work. It's a 14 year old monitor connected to an adapter connected to a modern capture card. You might consider submitting a ticket via #official-tech-support.

@chrome tulip I would also consider a DVI to HDMI cable rather than the VGA. That monitor has an DVI port according to Dell. DVI can natively convert to HDMI while the VGA connection must be converted to digital before send it across the the HDMI cable.

Hey guys, not sure if anyone can help with my issue. I just recently got the wave 3 xlr and started using the vsts. The problem im having is with NDI vst, when your using the ndi vst with the wave 3 xlr, it works fine once you setup but if you close it or the app crashes, all of the ndi's stop working. This is a pain in the bum when your trying to setup a dual pc, as this was the reconmended way of setting things from elgato. Any help would be apprecaited, because the only solution i have is to manual go through all the ndis and reset them again.

I had it with my Rodecaster as well, but fixed it with disabling the noise gate. Then I switched to the Wave XLR and I got it again. It's not happening often but it seems to be at least once every video I record

you can try just re pluging in every wire involved, from the recording it sounds like a power output problem from your cpu

if everything is up to date, and all the wires are fine, and there are no other filters on the mic itself, then my best suggestion would be to check the battery on ur cpu to see if it can handle everything plugged in, I could be very wrong tho lol

• Open Game Capture HD
• Click the device settings button
• Under the capture tab, toggle "Convert Standard Definition to 640x480" off and on. (Other settings will work for this too)
• The stream preview should refresh after a second with fixed audio.
