Have you been able to figure this out? I don't see a reply, but I'm running into the same issue with all 3 of my lights. They've been working flawlessly for nearly a year, but over the last week or so, they're not showing up in Control Center. Each light is still connected to my router and has an IP allocated, but Control Center just fails to see them anymore. Resetting the lights gets them noticed, but the setup process won't complete. I edited my Settings.xml file to manually point to them on the network, and that kind of works after restarting Control Center, but it fails after I restart my PC until I manually power cycle each light.

4k60pro arrived today, installed on streaming rig and it works flawlessly 1440p120hz (haven't tried 4k personally don't use 4k anyway)
But happy to say all working fine for what I need it for.

Still having issues with stream deck software. When I try installing the Wave icon pack, nothing happens. It doesn't show up in my icon library, and if I refresh the store, it just shows the "install" button again. No other icon pack has been doing this to me, and a complete reinstall of the software didn't solve it.

Hey is there any way to get camlink Pro's HDMI 1/Multiview to run at a specific FPS? (my inputs are all PAL (50hz), but when combined on Multiview (HDMI1) the output runs at 60Hz 4k no matter what (causing juddery video, made even worse when then recorded at 50Hz, as it seems to drop frames that aren't the duplicated ones from going 50fps->60fps)

My co hosts and I are recording through discord and I wanted to know if there is a way to get the sound drops to play through discord as well as my audio so that my co hosts can hear them as well? Would streaming at 2k be the cause of giving me audio delays in games? Is it just a coincidence that when I was streaming in 1080 it seemed to be in sync with the game audio better or is it the game I'm playing? For example, since I started streaming Far Cry 6, the shooting from guns is delayed by half a second or so. Ive tried a few things like offset (which I dont think I should have to do with a brand new expensive capture card) because I never had to mess with that and I also tried 59.94 which introducers stutters every 10 seconds or so (weird).. so Im a bit lost. Im maybe leaning toward it being the game with an unbalanced frame rate or something?

I went from 1080 60 to 1440 60, so Im not sure if its because of that? Its from the start to end, same delay. Also Im not streaming pc games, its ps5 but using OBS so barely any issues with gpu usage.

There's no definitive visual guide (or at least non I can find) on how to set it up as passthrough and every video I come across they don't actually go into depth as to how it's picked up in OBS etc.
Either that or I'm getting mixed up with terminology.
So currently I have a HDMI high speed cable going out from my Gaming GPU to 4k60pro IN port (streaming pc)
A High speed hdmi cable going from the OUT port of my 4k60pro (streaming pc) to an HDMI IN port in my Gaming PC Monitor
This is what I've gathered to be correct as per videos I've seen, but they then don't detail how to collect the pass through signal into OBS

Only way I can see obs pulling the image is by either cloning (induces screen tearing) or extending the monitors which leads to added resources being used on gaming PC. I was under the assumption passthrough was there to basically send a direct signal to the elgato capture card without the need of the gaming PC having to do anything but display the image.

There isn’t any reason why it wouldn’t work, just keep in mind that not all thunderbolt ports/cables are 4x which is required for the camlink pro, also keep in mind some thunderbolt ports use pcie lanes off the chipset which could reduce bandwidth leading to issues

Ohhh, that's a good point. On my desktop, I've got thunderbolt 4 built into the motherboard, so I'm pretty confident those are good, but my laptop. . . that's another story.

There a set of troubleshooting for the HD60 S+ capture freezing but passthrough remains good? Just picked this up this weekend. Series X -> 8ft new HDMI ( -> HD60 S+ -> 27" Monitor (passthrough). Just updated firmware and have run through most of the 'no signal' troubleshooting. Tomorrow going to see if the PS5 has the same problem and plan to move some equipment around to allow me to use the stock console HDMI cables.

Here's me after reseating the USB, then disabling and re-enabling the scene in Streamlabs and then it freezes within seconds. Will follow-up tomorrow after I do some more troubleshooting from any responses. Thanks and goodnight 🙂

I added a new profile to OBS for YouTube and it appears that all of my Streamdeck buttons on my original profile were defaulted. My layout, icons and multi-step actions remain, but the configured scene, source, filter that they were associated with are all on default.
I made sure to restart OBS, Streamdeck and PC. All software, firmware is updated to the latest patch. I toggled between profiles, restarting OBS in between this change and even a re-imported backup of this profile is defaulted the same. Anyone else experience this issue?

Hello! Does anyone know if it is possible to extend the length of the power cable for the keylight air? As in i wish to make the cable longer so that the plug can be outside of the room the light is in. (Not bring an extension from the socket to the product if that makes sense) i was wondering if something like a 2.1mm to 5.5mm dc cable would work?

I don't see why not, since that is what they are for. However, you must consider the cord length, wire shape, jacket material, maximum cable temperature, rated current, and rated voltage or you risk fire, damaging the device, or having it not work correctly.

Personally, I would use an AC extension cord over a DC one for simplicity's sake.

Sound advice. Im not sure what amp the keylight cable is rated at but id guess around the 5amp mark. I'll see if i can get hold of one with the right type of connector head. If anyone has any examples or if they have already tried this id love some help locating the right type!

The amperage and voltage should be written on the power adapter... usually. You could also go to an electrical supply store and see if they can help you pick the correct extension cable (take the current power supply and cable with you). They are usually pretty knowledgeable.

hi, i have gone and tried this software in every available version on the website, the software still crashes, freezes and lags behind or just goes completely out of sync with the audio. i have re-installed the app on my mobile device (iPhone X, which is on the current latest version of IOS) i have made sure to completely wipe the EpocCam Software off of my PC as well which is only half a year old and running a Ryzen 5 3600X and 32GBs of RAM, so surely it can't be the systems the app is running on.

The Connection between the App on the Mobile and the Software on the PC is Wired, but doesn't work properly either way, Wifi or Wired. i even bought a new USB cable to see if perhaps that was the issue, to which is solved nothing.

I’ve been trying to keep my camera on for a couple of hours while I stream, it keeps freezing on me within 30 minutes, or when I screen share through discord

It’s been happening for a while now and it’s getting really stressed out, I’ve tried re-downloading software on my computer, updating every driver possible, Elgato cam link does not have any driver so I’m stuck with the device..

I have no clue what to do,

I went to Microcenter and they told me that I should update the El Gato driver, even though that there is no driver for the El Gato cam link, they said it may be just a software issue, the CPU is perfectly fine, I have no clue what’s going on, not even Microcenter and they are extremely smart tech support can even help me

Most likely it’s the cam link, every time I unplug the Kim link I don’t experience any issues on my computer, with it plugged in my experience wag, bugs, and my computer freezes up

I use constant quality over bitrates, at around 17

but if you want to use constant bitrate, id say 20,000-30,000

20-60GB for 3-6hr files

as long as your hdd has enough write speed available for the bitrate you're recording at, it should work fine

Hi community! Got my Wave 3 yesterday and it's awesome, but I've run into some issues!
As I speak I like to be able to hear my voice, the talkback is built-in, but it's fairly hard to hear unless the headset nob is set to max and gain nob is at least level 4 (4 dots).

The Wave: 3 sounds excellent when I listen to it on my stream, however, the wave 3 is picking up a ton of ambient noise that's played back to my ear (not to the stream, maybe due to my equalization).

Do you guys have any tips with regards to Talkbalk clarity and quality? ✨

To clarify, I plug in an audio jack in the back of the Wave: 3 and listen directly to its output with my Logitech G935 headset, connected to my pc via bluetooth and a USB hub, the headset doesn't have any other audio issues for other use.

I've been plagued by an issue where my Wave 3 mic spontaneously starts sounding tinny/robotic for no reason during the middle of a stream. I'm playing a game, interacting with my community, when all of a sudden my chat says my mic is messed up. I didn't change anything. Restarting the Wave Link software (sometimes it takes more than one attempt) resolves the issue. While it's nice to be able to fix it when it happens, is there anything I can do to make this go away entirely? It's extremely disruptive to my stream to have to troubleshoot audio issues while I'm live.

Having issues with my HD 60 S. Just got my replacement in today. Went through setup, and it worked briefly. LED lights show it is connected to PC according to Elgato support site. so I tried changing out HDMI cables and even used a different monitor for the output but I can't get this flickering to go away. HD 60S+ was bought brand new and worked fine for a few days and won't stop flickering on my computer in the 4K Capture program. Tried lots of things. Uninstalling the software, using different HDMI cables, nothing seems to help. Weird thing is the flickering does NOT translate in a recording, only on the live view in 4K Capture. I really hope someone can help

Just did a fresh uninstall and reinstall of the 4k program and the drivers and issue is still there BUT I discovered a workaround - double click to full screen makes the flicker go away

If I have a Logitech G Pro Gaming Headset plug into my Gaming PC, would the Elgato HD60 Pro1080p60 pick it up my microphone on my headset? How would I hear my alerts on my streaming pc? I just got myself an Elgate HD60S+ and was wondering what are the main advantage of capturing the capture card into the 4k Capture Utility then passing it though OBS compared to directly capturing the capture card into OBS (and not using the 4k Capture Uitility software).

I have a question about the 8x4 Stream Deck.

I have made a testing profile to try to use it with Bizhawk while creating a TAS.
For this I need to press 2-3 or more buttons at once. They all have basic System:Hotkey
on the buttons that sends varies keyboard buttons. But, I have noticed that if I press,
Move Right, Fire and Run button, the Down button also gets activated.

Here bellow are the buttons on the deck I use.

Button A (1,1) = Send letter s (Down)
Button B (2,1) = Send letter d (Move Right)
Button C (2,3) = Send letter m (Fire)
Button D (1,3) = Send letter n (Run)

I have tried updating both FirmWire and software to the latest version and that did not solve it.

Is this a bugg with the deck or a limitation?

yo yo just wondering if anyone knows how to fix an issue I have, it happened a while back and just dealt with it. So for some reason its only rocket league that does this. But when I change the output for rocket league to the game channel. I receive 0 game audio from rocket league. However when on default which is system, it works perfectly fine? I thought updating from 1.3 to 1.3.2 would of fixed this but it hasn't. Does anyone know how this can be fixed? Some applications don’t support having their audio routed anywhere other than the default device, it’s possible this is the case with rocket league.

Try installing the Advanced Screensaver plugin from Barraider. Set the image there, then disable it. This should revert it back to the screensaver you set in the stream deck settings. I have a feeling this is what has happened in your case.

You can then remove the Advanced Screensaver plugin

Hi there - I'm back re: the 4k60 pro mk2 - upon installation in the PCIE slot and a boot up of the computer... the windows loading circle dots (that spin around) just stop spinning and freeze after a while... can never load up windows... is this a "change the native resolution to 1080p before booting?" issue? I've got it currently at 2k via display port but should It be setup and ready to use 1080p hdmi before I ever install the card or what? - Thanks so much. I've been using the 4K capture utility to stream PS5 to friends on discord and it's been working great for the most part. Whenever I make it full screen tho there are still think grey bars on each side. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced a similar thing before and knows if there's an easy way to fix it? it's not a huge deal but I figured it couldn't hurt to ask. so its either grey bars on the top and bottom or grey bars on the sides

I don't have an Elgato card, so kind of flying blind here. It doesn't seem to have a "true fullscreen" mode. It seems like your only option is to enable auto-hiding of the taskbar to mostly fix it, or disable the start menu on that display entirely in your Windows display settings.

It makes sense on the 1900x1200 display--you'll never have fullscreen output there due to the mismatched aspect ratio of the capture vs the display.

You could turn off that option, and it will only show the taskbar on your primary display, which (hopefully) is the 1900x1200 one.

Another kind of annoying, but workable potential option: take the application out of fullscreen, and enable the capture card in OBS. Once you've done that, right-click inside the OBS preview and use the Fullscreen Projector Preview to display it fullscreen on whatever display you choose.

Hello! I have a technical problem. I have an elgato hd60, a chat link a ps5 and pulse 3d headset (the ps5 headset). My elgato records the video and audio perfectly but if i use the chat link and plug in the headset (to hear the game through it) the elgato stops recording the audio

Hey everyone, I'm currently having an issue with Nvidia broadcast and my hd60 s+ not working together. I think it's because broadcast is getting priority over every other app so obs and even the 4k capture utility. Does anyone know how to set it so Nvidia broadcast doesn't recognize the hd60 s+?

So, my iMac just randomly started chopping up the finished recordings of about 5 of my last recorded videos into smaller chunks, but the chunks aren't even the whole segments. This started happening several nights ago. Basically, the computer started getting stuck while recording & had to catch up to where I was currently in the game. I tried replacing the HD60 with an HD60 S+, which I thought might fix the problem, but I came to the conclusion that it's the computer.

Does anyone have a fix to this, or should I take it to an Apple Store to get repaired, or replace it with a new iMac? I've been needing to get my Macbook Pro's battery & keyboard replaced anyways, so it wouldn't be a big thing to take both in to get fixed. I can't run a diagnostic on the iMac at all to find out what's wrong with it, but I believe there's some kind of hardware malfunction. I just don't know if there's a fix or workaround that I could try. Restarting the thing doesn't work for long to fix it & when the hard drive gets below a certain threshold (under 800GB, as I don't have anything other than my music & apps on it), the problems are exacerbated for no reason.

Using the hotkey toggle plugin to min or max the active window (win+uparrow and win+downarrow) is the way to go for non-specific app functionality. If you want to do it with a specific application, you will have to pin the app to the taskbar. The you can use (win+ 1 to 9) to min or max that specific app. They are numbered from left to right. Then create a single HotKey that uses that key combination.

You might need to unhook your card and then plug it back in to get it to reset itself.

When you do get it open, and the card is working, you can press cntrl and the settings button in it and update the firmware of your card, as well.

Yeah, if you're using the 4kcu it's gonna stop anytime you try to capture in any other software

if you have a program taking up resources for the device it will usually cause this issue. ex: you can’t use obs and 4k capture utility at the same time.

Mk1 has no detachable face plate and a folding stand. The Mk2 has a detachable faceplate and is integrated into the stand like the XL and Mini. Otherwise, they are the same hardware wise.

Yeah I know but because they are the same price and they have basically no difference besides a detachable cord + adjustable or non-adjustable stand, I don't know if there are people out there who have a preference after using both

I feel like ideally what you'd be doing is duplicating your main display to the capture card, and keeping the main display on another input. That way it's not dependent on the capture card having power to keep displaying.

The Stream Deck is great, except it crashes..a lot. I often have to open up Task Manager and slowly end the task.

I've had that before when you have a lot of things going at once. Try turning everything else off and then add back in whatever programs you're running one by one. You may need to turn a setting down on something

i think the reason why is because the capture card is duplicating the gaming pc monitor display so it captures it on the desktop just not in-game

I have to ask. Why would you want to do this? You should never really have to touch saturation at all, let alone boost it that much.

I almost wonder if you have a display that supports HDR, but it's a poor HDR implementation (common for PC displays still) and makes your content appear washed out.

I was playing with this via FFXV last night, with Win11 HDR. HDR for us can look amazing, but way too dark, or way too bright in a recording via PC, but 4K60Pro MK.2 should be able to passthrough, vs OBS Game Capture via set window/app or Desktop Capture. I only use the Capture card for consoles. I had to change the Luminance, but in other games it can be called something different, ex: Marvel's Avengers it was just Brightness. So it can vary. I turned off HDR cause it's not really needed in streams., but solo it's on. 🙂

a DSLR is a camera, and the settings to make the picture in this case your video capture to your liking. Keep in mind, not everyone has the same monitor as you, so colors etc... could be a bit of a different to your viewers too.
