Trying to fix an error that the Elgato "Stream Deck Store" is empty. I click on it to download some plugins and nothing shows up. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, checking for update, closing and reopening the stream deck app multiple times and the store will not show up. I am connected to the internet. No VPN checked the firewall rules to see if it is allowed through the firewall. Please help.

Only tab that doesn't load anything is the Plugins tab. All other have content.

I went to elgato folder, right click on wave link executable - compatibility - run as administrator. With these steps the settings are saved, but the problem is that i have to run wave link manually every time i turn on my computer. If wave link is set i "run as administrator" the software does not run automatically. I think you should know about this issue and maybe launch a new patch in the future with these problems solved.

Has anyone run into any issues with the Multi-Mount clamp bolt getting stripped? I move mine a lot and this most recent time, the bolt got stuck and when I got it loose, it stripped either the bolt itself or the threading on the base.

Hey @pliant thicket, I had the same issue. The screen runs at 240hz but whenever I went in-game it would go down to 60hz.. My bypass for this was to extend the Elgato screen, and then run a projection from OBS / Streamlabs onto that screen. Then record. This however made me run into other weird ass problems. So I went ahead and bought the 4K60Pro and now I run my duplicate screen at 240hz and my main screen at 240hz, and since then I have no issues when it comes to HZ.

Hi guys, I have two questions related to capturing headset audio when using HD60 S+ combined with Chat Link to capture footage from Xbox SeriesX. I understand that I need the Elgato 4K app but I am on a work computer and can't install anything. If I take my card to friends house, download the app and change Audio to Analog, will that setting stay when I turn the card off or does it keep that setting so that I can bring it home and use it?

Question/Situation: I have a HD60 Pro and wanted to play at 2k at 144hz but capture my game play as well. i tried connecting the hdmi side to the elgato and the display port side of the cable to my monitor but got No signal ( Yes, i have a hdmi to the capture card and than to my graphics card) . the cable works fine on my second monitor connected directly to my GPU. I just brought an elgato hd60 s yesterday and I was having problems with it connecting to my pc. It streams to my second monitor through hdmi so I can play games but whenever I open the software it says that no devices are connected I’ve tested with multiple usb chords and it doesn’t work. My pc meets the requirements I searched up that you need and I have googled this and tried many times but I can not seem to get it to work

I’d suggest checking your bios/driver and possibly update. Also IN is connected to your console, USB -C connected to a USB 3.0 port on your PC, and OUT connected to your TV/Gaming Monitor?

Yep both appear to be updated. When I try to add it on my pc it won't work, but I can see the light and I can try to connect it. When I try to connect it on my phone I see it, I go through the steps but it says failed to connect, yet I can control it on my phones control center, brightness, color temp, turn it off and on. I have had the two for awhile and have had them connected. I just noticed that it was not working with the stream deck and reset the connection. I am almost at a loss.

Hello! My voicemod plugin will not install anymore. Due to this my buttons are now coming up as ?. I have tried uninstalling both programs and removing the voicemod folder from the elgato plugins folder (it wasnt even in there). Any ideas?

is your pc setup on wifi 2.4? see if switch to that just to add on your stream deck will work, then change back to preferred method.

Blue should be 3.0 however maybe you have a bad cable? Are your bios/drivers updated? Have you tried a new cable?

Hello, I just got an Elgato Game Capture HD, the capture itself works great, but when I'm trying to capture old consoles like a PS2 and a Wii, while the capture on my pc looks perfectly fine, on the TV end the picture often cuts off so it causes a black screen for a couple of seconds before coming back

not sure what your question is. you hit record and footage is available under edit tab for editing. it sounds like it;s working as intended. What is the issue you are having? It kind of sounds like perhaps you meant to stream instead of record?

you need USB 3.0 connection in order to facilitate the bandwidth required, that is correct. there are so many variables here I would not know how to help without being able to see your setup tbh It sounds like you have everything connected right. I assume you added a scene and then added source and chose the Elgta card for video source. Since footage shows up in the other program it woudl seem like it;s an OBS configuration issue

well, your card supplies footage to Elgato software, so it's working fine. We just need to make sure you have OBS configures correctly.

I'd say try updating or reinstalling your GPU drivers. The GPU is leveraged to process the preview. Issues with that could cause this.

Which model of card is it again? HD60 S?

Well the common solutions would be switching the USB ports being used, moving other devices to other ports, don't use hubs if possible, etc. This message can also come up if there is an incompatibility with the USB controller it's connected to. Could you share your computer's specifications? if you know it, the motherboard model would be helpful.

Are you using a PCIe 4.0 SSD or GPU?

AMD had problems on B550 and X570 where if a PCIe 4.0 device was installed, it could actually cause problems with USB ports. We saw this causing problems with capture cards being dropped on USB ports on those types of boards.

Go to the Device Settings, then go to the Advanced tab. you should see a slider for TV compatibility. Try adjusting this up or down. Hit OK. Close Game Capture HD completely. Re-open and retest.

I upgraded to EpocCam Pro 3.3 (Win64) yesterday, and now the Viewer app and Zoom all have a display where the connection type display is rapidly flickering and the iOS app is stuck in "connecting to your computer" with the animated blue connecting icon is displayed. Anyone else seeing this

I have solved the issue... here is the steps i took

1. uninstalled 3.3 driver
   2, downloaded and installed version 3.0.1 driver (it will remove the old drivers from version 2.9x)

How do you turn up the commentary/microphone volume on "Elgato 4K Capture Utility" when using HD60 S+ to stream from Xbox Series X? I am using Elgato chat link and my microphone is so quiet on the stream that you can barely hear me. Mic monitoring is cranked all the way up on Xbox console. Elgato 4K Capture Utility allows me to boost a microphone that is connected to the PC, but I don;t see any adjustment for the microphone plugged into the 3.5mm jack on the HD690 S+.

I turned game sounds down and cranked the gain in OBS but the more you turn it up the more static/noise you introduce, it really didn't work well. I ended up purchasing a better-quality headset with a better microphone. What we really need is an amp for the microphone but I have no $ at this point.

Hey guys, got a quick question someone may be able to help me with. Is there a way to achieve the same 1080p downsample that the HD60S+ does on the 4K60 Pro mk2 while still getting 4K passthrough? I really like how the 1080p looks on the HD60S+, and it seems to look better to me than resized 4K in OBS or SLOBS from the 4K60 Pro mk2, but if the same could be achieved with it, it would free up a USB port for me

Hi guys, I am still having the graphics freezing while sound carries on when I record anything past 30 mins or do a long recording session, I am using windows 10, have the latest bios for my system dated 17/5/21 and latest graphics card driver 1080 founders edition. My hardware is the hd60 S

Tried different HDMI cables, different HZ's, DP to HDMI (To make sure my hdmi wasn't broken on my gpu), different bitrates, OBS, Xsplit and Streamlabs (All same issue) Different PCI'e spots for Elgato, duplicating using Nvidia and Windows, extending and projecting using streamlabs and lots more I can't even come up with anymore...

Seems no matter what other profile I'm in, when I hit "daily" to go back to main profile it sometimes rotates through multiple profiles even if they all say "Daily" as the 'go to' profile???

I don't want to specify Daily as default cause that would force "Daily" if I'm in OBS and a game right?

Just wondering if that would be an acceptable workaround to having both headphones and speakers plugged into the Elgato XLR at the same time - given that it only has one 3.5mm outlet. (I do have the ability to turn off my speakers when I choose to use headphones.)

The lack of additional outputs on the Elgato XLR is really the only thing holding me back from switching over from my GoXLR Mini... I switch between my headphones and speakers quite a bit throughout the day, and wanted to avoid having to physically plug/unplug my sources if I could.

Hey guys, I'm using an HD 60 S with OBS on my computer. Recently, I read through the OBS log files and found multiple warnings of audio buffering, which led to an Audio delay. Does someone know what could cause this? I tested it without the Capture Card, and there I don't get any Audio delay.

I have rebooted, uninstalled the Control Center Application, reinstalled the app. The outcome is still that it only shows one at a time.. It rarely shows both at the same time. Okay so I got it to work -- however games are being forced into 1080p, and my elgato even after changing the EDID and other settings is still receiving in 1080p even though all options say it should be in 1440p

i bought the steelseries arctis pro + gamedac headset and the intention was for me to us the high res audio feature, but for some reason when is select it as an option in wave link it doesnt work, i dont hear any audio, when i put it on the normal pc option it does however work. any reason for this?

I’m no expert with the HD60S but here are some fixes that seem to work:

1. Make sure it’s not in a USB hub (if this doesn’t work out it back in the hub)
2. Use different wires/ clean the wires
3. Restart pc

So I'm having a problem using HD60s to livestream from my iphone through my macbook to OBS. When I connect via HDMI the audio cuts off. If I change the advanced audio settings to audio and output I can hear the audio and my mic while recording. However, when I go live the audio cuts off, for some odd reason it runs old gaming info that I deleted from Game Capture(lol), and I get a mic echo which is was my original problem trying this in Game Capture. Soooo... I wanted to test out 4:4:4 RGB on the Mk2, I followed the instruction on the page https://help.elgato.com/hc/en-us/articles/360048181371-Elgato-Game-Capture-4K60-Pro-MK-2-supports-RGB-4-4-4-Video-Output I had to update the Driver, When trying to update the Firmware I kept my finger on the CTRL key to long and a manual upload popped up, foolishly I thought the Driver File was the Firmware update file, so I selected it, and waited for the update. The Application stopped working and I had to Task Close 4K Capture Utility, when I restarted the program the firmware showed as VERSION MCU 00.00.00 FPGA 00.00.00, I tried everything from uninstalling the drivers and software to looking everywhere for the manual files on the internet, I even tried a new PC and installed the capture card to find out the firmware was on the card itself. on the Streaming PC I performed a clean Windows 10 Pro install from a USB with a formatted SSD. The card was dead. now im waiting for a response from the Elgato Support but im afraid they wont be able to fix it.

Hey everyone, hoping someone can shed some light. I have a dual PC streaming setup with the 4kpro MK2 installed into the Streaming PC. I usually switch between streaming from my Game PC and a PS4 Pro. If I unplug the Game PC's HDMI from the IN port on the Elgato and switch to the HDMI coming from my console the video shows up almost immediately on my Stream PC. When trying to switch back to plugging my game PC into the IN port, it always states No Signal. I usually have to reboot both PCs / unplug both ends of the HDMI and plug back in / sometimes just rebooting one PC / sometimes a combination of all of these. Is there any way I can ensure the PC video capture comes back immediately after switching from my PS4 Pro?

I can confirm my gaming PC's HDMI port works great just going to any display and comes up instantly every time. If anything I'd assume the issue is the Elgato but while on the gaming PC the signal never cuts out. Only if I switch to console and then back

Instead of unplugging the HDMI cables from the 4kPro, unplug the cable from the computer and see what the results are.

I'm 10000% lost when it comes to my Cam Link. Recently I got a DSLR camera, and I've been wanting to use it in OBS however I can't seem to get my Cam Link to pick up any video from my camera. I've made sure it's on video mode, it's 1080p60, plugged into multiple different USB slots, and also even tried taking out my SD card to see if that would help but no luck. It only shows a still image of my memory bank, and shortly after says "No Connection" though still shows my Cam Link and the video settings inside of devices. Anyone have any tips?

From your description it is likely that the LCD screen as failed. Submit a help ticket with the device. serial number and upload your receipt.

Yo, i am new to all this game capture stuff, so not entirely sure how it works, but i have an issue with my PS5, i play on 1440p screen, and PS5 does not support that. On top of that i want PS5 audio streamed to my PC, so i can have both PS5 and PC audio in my headset. I thought to myself that i could possibly do that with a capture card? Since i assume it captures the audio to the PC, and it also captures 4k signal, which would look better on a 1440p screen than 1080p would. Is this correctly understood? or am i misunderstanding the potential use of a capture card?

They advertise zero latency, but there's always going to be a bit. But I guess that would work if you have a second monitor or don't need to use the monitor for your PC for one reason or another. I don't have a 4k60 to check.

I always use one of my PC monitors to play PS5 on, so that doesn't matter, ultimately all i want is good image quality, and PS5 audio on my PC. Capture card is obviously expensive fix for that, but i see no other option, since they didn't keep the Optical audio output PS4 had

I use the HD60S+, and can hear the PC audio, and Game audio through OBS. I use a 2nd monitor to have my OUT on the Capture Card to the Gaming Monitor so I have 0 latency when gaming. As for the internal PCIE, not sure about. I do know there is some capture cards with a 2.5 sec delay. I think it tells you on the site.

Weird one that's happened since i've reinstalled Windows but i use the Whatsapp app on my PC and if that window is active, some of the buttons don't work unless i make another window active.
It's only Whatsapp that effects them and didn't have issues before.
Buttons effected that i've noticed so far are the System multimedia buttons (volume +/down etc) and System Hotkeys
I've double checked none of the hotkeys are same as Whatsapp hotkeys and they aren't and nothing happens in Whatsapp when i press them.

Hey, thanks for trying to help! You're on the right track -- basically that video shows how to add twitch stream markers, which is exactly what I'm doing. The one additional bit that I would like to be able to do is add markers with descriptions prefilled in so that when i review the markers, i can specifically differentiate between different types of content. For example, I could have one stream deck button for 'add marker for funny' and another for 'add marker for epic'. Then when I review the content later, it will be very easy to find the 'funny' markers in the sea of other stream markers.

hey. today my steam deck XL arrived so i now have the one with 15 buttons and 32 buttons.
comparing those 2 devices side by side makes it very clear that there is a yellow tint on the screen of the XL stream deck.
after searching the internet and trying to find some info on this discord server it seems like this is "normal" behavior?
i cant believe that the more costly product comes with a subpar screen. it makes sense to get more features for more money but a yellow tint is nothing i would ever want.

👋 Hoping to find a bit of help as I've scowered the entire internet for my issue, to no avail ```
Basically, I run a main AMD gaming pc rig with a Dp-HDMI to my elgato HD60S which goes to my gaming laptop to help handle streaming without taking a load on my main rig

(Keep in mind, my setup completely functioned until I had to move my laptop for a quick meetup elsewhere)

I've fixed my previous issues unknowingly of not having any audio at all; however, my audio is so heckin quiet I can barely hear music when it's being blasted at 100%. On PC1's sound capture, the output is set to my HD60S under the PC Gaming tab and is showing levels as normal.

On my gaming laptop using audio monitoring, I can barely hear my gameplay, and the Game Audio under the Game Capture app barely monitors but for maybe 1/30th of the status bar.

Any theories? I'm currently locked on my live streaming until I can somehow get this fixed

MAJOR CREDIT TO @shadow anchor Helped fix and debug an issue that not even the official elgato support could manage to fix in months.

Feedback on something: Elgato control center button (toggle all accessories to value "ON" should only toggle lights to "ON", pressing that button again should NOT turn off the lights, it should NOT act as an toggle on/off switch, to do that, you should create a Multi switch action button. This complicates things when creating multi actions that switch scenes etc where you need all lights on.

Basically, choosing turn on all accessories should turn on all accessories, no matter how many times you press it, currently it turns off all lights if pressed again.

Anyone else using Mac OS (yeah i know) and having this issue? It worked fine the first hour and then nothing on the stream mix. When I click the little ear on the right the entire software just force closes. I was up until 4 a.m. last night trying to fix it.
I saw that the PC guys who had this issue have a VERY helpful uninstaller that was able to also uninstall all settings. Reinstalling the app fixed it for them but there is no software like that for Mac. I've tried going through terminal and library to delete files left behind and still nothing. At my wits end. I really don't want to return this mic. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

So this is an issue thats cropped up today while I was trying to record footage of no more heroes 3, the recording will work perfectly fine, but once I press stop and the file exports, the footage will always freeze at a random point, while the audio will continue to record perfectly, this has never been an issue before, sometimes it will freeze after 20 minutes, sometimes after 50, its random when it will freeze but after a certain point the footage will not record. and theres no indication that theres an issue, because I have my TV turned off so im playing whilst looking through the application thats recording (which is the official elgato game capture HD software that they tell you to download on the bottom of the box. ive tried moving the usb plug to different slots, ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling, ive tired clearing up space despite having well over 4 TB of space free for recordings, Nothings worked, what can I do?

My Stream Deck XL randomly switches its screen to this while my PC is running and I have to exit the Stream Deck app and relaunch to regain functionality. My USB low power setting is disabled and the Stream Deck XL is plugged in directly to my Asus ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero motherboard. Multiple people have reported this issue online and have never found a proper remedy, Elgato customer support basically refused to acknowledge this as a real issue when I went back and forth with them for months about it. This happens on two of my stream deck XLs that are hooked up to different PCs even. Any chance this will ever get fixed? Anyone else in here experiencing this? Anyone manage to run the HWiNFO plugin without encountering this?

This has persisted through multiple Stream Deck uninstalls and reinstalls, as well as multiple clean Windows installs.

Are you plugged into a USB 3.x port (they are blue)? Are you plugged into a USB hub? The Stream Deck **needs to be plugged directly into the computer on a USB 2.x port **(They are black or white). Hope this helps.

is there anything taking up your cpu usage? i'd also suggest seeing if OBS may have a discord that can help. However, from what I've read seems like something is running in the background process if I understand this correctly.

CPU usage is below 2% at most times and there are no dropped frames, my capture card just gets out of sync. It seems like an issue with Elgato cards and only solution is to record audio with something different, which is not really a solution

Hi folks. I have been using my Cam Link 4K on USB3.0 as a video and audio device for WebEx on my MacBook successfully for a long time with a Sony A6400 using live HDMI clean output with a Rode VideoMicro Compact plugged into the camera. I also connect the Cam Link to my Windows PC (also USB3.0) and have been able to successfully stream video via OBS Studio - however, I am unable to get any audio in Windows via the Cam Link Audio device. It sounds robotic and causes any recording/streaming event that has the audio device selected to glitch out and stop recording/streaming.

Has anyone gotten HDMI audio input to work on Windows 10 with Cam Link 4K?

Support has been trying to work it out but so far no luck - we've tested different camera settings, different HDMI inputs (from iPad, for example) - I've also confirmed that direct to monitor/TV HDMI audio works just fine. This seems to be a Windows specific issue...

I'd like the microphone/PS4 chat/PS4 Game audio/all PC audio (when required) all going to the PC stream (as well as my headset) as well as people I'm playing with being able to hear me from the mic on PS4. I've recently bought the Shure SM7B mic which connects via XLR to the Elgato Wave XLR interface and this then connects via USB C to the PC. Is there a way to make the mic work on the PS4 or is there simply no work around? A helpful Elgato video I've seen mentions adding a Chat Link cable to go between your headset and PS4 controller and then plugging into the PC - but I think this only refers to PS4 audio not including the mic. What are your thoughts? I feel like there is a fairly straight forward solution somewhere. Thanks for your help

I have problems with my plugins for Streamdeck. I allowed it in my firewall but still the problem persist. Whenever I reboot my PC all the plugin isn't working. I can see that it loads in my taskbar 29 instances including the plugins. But in few seconds it became 10 or less. What seems to be the problem?

Try uninstalling the software. Unplug the stream deck, Reboot your PC. Install, and then plug in the stream deck. See if that works. If the plugins are issues, try uninstalling those and reinstalling them too.

I tried Uninstalling-reinstalling the software. Uninstall Reinstall plugin. and yet after a reboot , still the issue is present. I would uninstall reinstall Plugin everytime I restart my PC which sometime works and sometimes doesnt. it is annoying and cumbersome to uninstall reinstall all the plugins I used. I can't seem to find whats stopping the plugin to load. I dont even have a third party virus scanner.

I think there’s a local app data folder for the stream deck. Try backing that up, and delete it from your local app data. See if that resolves it… if so, you should be ok. If not, then open a #official-tech-support

Is the stream deck plugged into a USB 3.x port (blue)? Is it plugged into a USB hub? If so, the stream deck must be plugged directly into the computer on a USB 2.x (they are black or sometimes white) or you will experience issue such as this.

Hello everyone! I've been having this issue with my Elgato HD60 Pro when it comes to Game Capture HD and OBS Studios. Whenever I have it launched in prep for a stream, the audio is delayed. I thought I had found a way to create twitch markers with description by using the Twitch Chat command plugin and using the /marker command with a description but that doesn't seem to be working. The streamdeck log doesn't show any errors and the elgato log shows the following: Usage: "/marker" - Adds a stream marker (with an optional comment, max 140 characters) at the current timestamp. You can use markers in the Highlighter for easier editing. -- anyone have any ideas?

Weird thing with a HD60PRO, I clone the display to the capture card and games behave like I'm playing in 60hz. The monitor is 144hz, it sends 60hz to the capture card via the display clone but it limits the monitor to 60hz.

I have a brand new Elgato 4k60 Pro. Works great. I only use the IN port, and play with my PS5 with the 4K capture utility. The reason for this is that my monitors only have a 2K resolution, but the PS5 does not support this. The image would only render in 1080p and then simply upscaled. I did not want that. Works so far also everything super. The PS5 recognizes the 4k output, etc. Is it now somehow possible to display the fps of the console? Would just be interested to see. Is that possible?

Yeah, it's not a defeat as I've had it for a long while, it just started happening after having had to break everything down to move and then reset back up. I have it setup with a pop fliter, but it was hard as hell to get the pop filter back on, and now the shock mount has lose bands, so that's why I'm wondering how to tighten them. So I know that this problem is probably gonna be one of the more obscure issues because of how the setup is being managed. However, I'm gonna see if anyone can assist since I also think this is a simple resolution to solve maybe? Anyways, I have a Wii U kiosk(out of all things I use as my main display cause of the convenient setup I'm attempting to make) and the OEM monitor that is included in it has no such way in displaying any kinds of settings on it aside for volume control. All of it works just fine, just that I desire to plug in all my retro consoles at once in the same display in order to have recording sessions. Just my issue is the lack of an ability to display the image in 4:3 on the display itself for whatever reason, and since there are no options that I can even select on the monitor itself, I was wondering if there is any way in the recording software to force the image to be displayed in 4:3.

Sorry to hear that Tom. Just to be sure, Is your Stream Deck plugged directly into your computer on a USB2.x port (They are black or white). If you are plugged into a USB hub or a USB 3.x port (they are blue) , you will definitely experience symptoms like you described. I didn't believe at first (I am stubborn), but changing to a true USB 2.x port and removing from a hub, solved all issues I had. I have not had an issue ever since. These are also the actual requirements for the Stream Deck to begin with.

Does the Elgato HD60 Pro when forwarding the HDMI to a screen with the passthrough, also pass the audio? I am getting quite a bit off lag listening to the audio in OBS and am considering getting an HDMI audio extractor to fix the issue. But if the audio doesnt get forwarded that wouldnt exactly solve my issue. I dont have an audio source on my screen so im in a bit of a weird situation.

I wanna split the signal and feed it directly into my headphones, while also capturing the sound + video on OBS (playing rhythm games, delay of audio coming in from OBS is not quite right and hard to time my inputs)

Yes, that page comes up at top on Google. I am sorry to say that all it says is "don't charge your controller", I am not charging it (using rechargeable batteries) but everyone seems to keep repeating the no charge thing everywhere I ask for suggestion.

what cables are you referring to? Xbox controllers are wireless and I use rechargeable batteries in mine. the only cable connected to my Xbox controller is the Elgato Chat Link.

So I have the internal capture card. My OBS shows that it is playing audio. However, it only seems to want to play through my SPEAKERS and not my headset. I'm stumped what settings would cause this. I can hear the audio in obs if i monitor, but I don't want to do that because the audio is also coming from me "desktop" section and I don't want the double sound. I'm gonna test real quick if I can do "monitor only" and it works on my headphones but right now thats the only work around I can think of

oh so I should also mention I can only hear it through my desktop audio if I open Game Capture HD

hey I am using a ipone 6s with epoccam and I have only recently started getting latency about 1 sec has never happened before, I don't know if its because of low battery but it is always charged fully most of the time when using it. (I am using wifi)

When connected and capturing the gaming pc screen, (I use mirroring) it adds a noticeable delay when tabbing in and out of full-screen applications

hi i have a stream deck and im having a problem with it. The issue is i set it up to send a message/s into my youtube live stream chat and i can only use the set message/s once or not at all. This has only started happening since the last update i did for it. Any ideas how to fix it ?

hello i have a question. every other day it seems like there is an audio issue with this software. like my audio doesnt work (there is no audio when there should be) and ill have to swap the outputs to different audio channels just for it to work correctly. But sometimes that doesnt work and im playing games without any audio. please help

do you run into the same issue when using it through Elgato Game Capture software? That might help narrow down whether you have a hardware issue or a software issue. When I streamed I always started Game Capture Software first, closed it, then opened Streamlabs OBS, otherwise I would sometimes have capture issues.
