Again. My PCI-E could be borked.

I'll have to buy the Avermedia PCI-E board and see if I get similar results.

The thing is :/ My current Avermedia board is abit crap.

Although it says it has 60mbps bitrate. It looks crap. And also theres a Red and Green hue over the footage.

So if I remove the Green hue with a slider, I still have the Red hue and Visa-versa.

Apparently lots of people have had this Hue Issue with Avermedia products.

The thing is, This only started recently for me. Maybe I should jump back a Driver Version.

I really hope there's fair talk allowed about competitors.

I'm not slagging off Elgato or Avermedia.

I've just had bad experiences :/ With Both.

The thing is also, I use Xsplit and Unfortunately Xsplit doesn't have a setting to force "Colour Space" or "Colour Format" Like OBS does.

Forcing Colour Space still doesn't make the video input correct. But it can be made to look more like your TV.

Don't know if anybody else has this problem. My camlink works fine in the 4k capture utility. I open OBS and my camera doesnt come up on OBS and on 4k it is now a black screen. I changed cables. Still had the problem. I changed USB ports still had this problem. If I only open OBS it wont show the camera either.

Didnt change any settings. two days ago during a stream my elgato just froze and since then I have this problem.

However I am having a problem that four times now, I have started certain games and the card is forcing those games into 1920 x 1080 from the 3840x2160 4k resolution I play in on my main machine! And those four times it has caused a BLUE SCREEN....

How do I fix this one because I have no idea...

Hello everyone, I have a bit of a question.
With the new Stream Deck Store and all the music we can now download, is there a way to amass it all into a playlist with plugins and such? I tried to do the "soundboard" button, only plays one song. I tried the "Sound Deck" plugin, didn't recognize the ".streamDeckAudio" file format. I tried changing them to .mp3 and that didn't work either.

There has to be some way to make a playlist with all the ".streamDeckAudio" files? Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Sorry if incorrect flair.

If anyone has any info to help that'd be spectacular. Sorry if answered before or this is the wrong channel.

These are for the Elgato Lights. It took me a Moment to realize what you are asking.

Make sure you're mic isn't on mute, and that you have the stream icon on the mic wave 3 without a slash. Also if you want to hear yourself via monitor mix to make sure it's working, or even switch to stream mix to make sure your viewers/audience can hear you test it out before stream. hope this helps.

Do you have HDCP enabled on your console? If so disable it, and it should work. Also Make sure IN is connected to you Console/PC & OUT is connected to your TV/Monitor.

OK, since I've got a Wave 1 mic, the one thing that I'm trying to figure out is how do I get it correctly working and setup with a Go-XLR Mini that I just got. The program for some reason doesn't want to register the Wave and I don't understand as to what in the world is going on. Mind you the mic works great and I've having zero issues with it, it's just getting it to talk to the Mini program is what I'm having issues with here now.

I’ve been researching your question, but from what I understand it can only be one or the other running unless it’s a dual PC 1 being use for each PC vs both on the same. From what I was reading it’s a software conflict. So it may not work as you would hope.

Personally I just use Wave3 and Streamdeck XL. Maybe YouTube videos may help, but I check a few reddit forums, and one person who went in-depth on this issue. Explained it was only ideal with a dual PC setup.

Actually I was told that I'm going to need a 3.5mm male to male head that will connect the Wave 1 to the Mini in order for the Mini to see the Wave 1. So I ordered one and I'll let you know how the whole thing works out.

I did also noticed when I first got my 15 key, that it was rather slow when plugged into a external USB hub compared to plugging into the motherboard directly, hopefully this helps

Figured I would post this here for anyone else that needs help with a situation like mine.. First here is what I asked help with yesterday:

And the fix I was able to find: I did not realize that first off, the 4K Capture utility is REQUIRED to set up and change things for the actual card. I thought it was only for the basic drivers. That was problem #1. Second I was aware that some of the issues similar to what I was having, were due to EDID settings however the drop down only shows a max resolution of 1920 x 1080..

So I decided to dig around and see if there was some way to manually fix this issue... first I went into the Elgato Dir for this card and in one of the directories, is a full list of EDID files. As it turns out there is a custom option in that drop down I missed and it allows you to select any of the other EDID.bin files.

After a lot of trial and error, I figure out how to both record AND stream at full 3840x2160 UHD 4K and so far no more problems on my main system and no more blue screens. For those trying to do what I wanted to do, the EDID file YOU HAVE to use is the "EDID - 4k60 Pro HDR " .bin file. That allows the card to take my full 3840x2160 input from my main gaming machine and send it to the second machine which only has 1920x1080 capability yet both record and now stream in the actual main systems full 4k mode.

BTW, I use VoiceMeeter to supply sound but according to Elgato we can now do this with this card and a streamdeck so I am trying to figure that out now because Elgato has not gotten back to me on the audio side of it yet.

on your mic/aux in OBS do you have it to stream mix as your mic?

is your IN connect to your PC/Console, and the OUT to your Monitor/TV ? Also please try unplugging it for 1 min, and plug back in. As for the sound, in 4K Utility or Game Capture make sure mute isn't on your audio. In Game Capture make sure you're not in analog audio.

HDMI 2.0? If so, most HDMI cables should be fine. I usually just look in Amazon for the best reviews. Does the Monitor/Display have a Display Port? Would that work out better for you via 144hz? Does the 2060 have a Display Port?

Does the 4K60S+ expect a game’s video to be in widescreen? I tried using the sdcard recording method to record a GameCube game running on Wii... but although it looked right on the TV it ended up on a different “cinematic” resolution on the recording.

I’ve had no issues with any console more modern than the GameCube.

Like I'm so not trying to be aggressive about it but it's insane that 3 different cameras don't work above 1080p with your product. If it's my computer's benchmark, then your CamLink 4K requirements are wrong. And if it's not my computer, then I probably got sold a base (no 4K) CamLink somehow

The Wave:3 is meant to be plug-and-play and I was able to use it with just Audacity. However, to get the most use out of it you need to download the Wave Link software, which lets you set up multiple inputs and control their output to your stream.

Hello, I have recently gotten an HD60s capture card to record gameplay on my Xbox one, I recently recorded gameplay of around 11 minutes using 4k Capture Utility. When I went to check the video in my library, no audio was heard.

I've tried different microHDMI-HDMI cables already. I think it actually might be a setting with the Lumix that I need to figure out. But with the GoPro I confirmed was not going to be able to use 4K despite the website saying it does output 4K

If I go into playback mode it shifts into 2160p29

and as soon as i go back into live view, it shifts back to 1080p59

Hello everyone, I have a bit of a question.
With the new Stream Deck Store and all the music we can now download, is there a way to amass it all into a playlist with plugins and such? I tried to do the "soundboard" button, only plays one song. I tried the "Sound Deck" plugin, didn't recognize the ".streamDeckAudio" file format. I tried changing them to .mp3 and that didn't work either.

There has to be some way to make a playlist with all the ".streamDeckAudio" files? Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Sorry if incorrect flair.

Have you Muted your TV, and made sure 4k utility or game capture doesn’t have the audio muted? if using obs you have to setup the audio properties to monitor it.

reset it. Hold the switch to the left for about 10-15 sec it will flash a fee times, and stop. then let go of the switch. give it a min off, then turn on like normal and setup again like new.

I’m using obs but I can use whatever software is needed. As mentioned the iMac has windows on it. My set up is gaming pc has elgato 4K 60 pro internal with a monitor attached. I connect the gpu to the card and the out port is an hdmi to the iMac. Hi all, I got the Wave 3 mic today with the Wave Link software. I'm having a few issues with OBS compatability in terms of the alerts (Channel points, follower, sub etc). I'm using voicemod as well, and as much as i've been told this is possible I feel this is just overcomplicating it. Additionally, every so often since installing the software, any audio I play becomes choppy in my wired headphones, I've tried 3 different headphones to confirm it's not a headset issue. Any advice much appreciated 🙂

Hey so I just started using my Elgato HD60 S and when I set it up it was able to find my switch, ran sound, the works and everything was fine. Closed the program as I was just testing it and when I launched it again to actually play the game using the capture card all I get is a black screen and don't get sound or anything. anyone know what might be wrong/a way to fix it. I've tried doing a clean reinstall on the software as well as running the fix tool from the installer.

the capture card needs to be connected to the Mac for you to use it. Since it’s only installed on your gaming PC that may not work. I know some people have a Gaming\Streaming PC all in one. If you have 2 gpu installed. Use one for gaming, and the other for streaming. I’d recommend using OBS on one screen, and gaming on the other if running a dual monitor.

Hi i have weird issues with my stream deck. all revolve around linked accounts.

I have 3 accounts (that all show up in the settings > accounts list).
Twitter (Seems to work fine.)
Streamlabs (Im not sure, i dont think it works?)
Twitch (Doesnt work).

Whenever i start up my PC, it opens the linking page in my browser for Streamlabs, and a different window for Twitter.
(none for Twitch).

I have recently found out that turning my bluetooth on and off in Window's Action Center, triggers these linking pages to appear.

you can use lan

just setup the lights on wifi, and then use lan after setup. I use lan while controlling my light via streamdeck. I setup the lights via wifi, but use lan on my pc. I used the control center software to setup the lights.

I bought a 4k60S+ Capture and it works as expected - out of the box
In desperation, i setup one of the HD60S+ on my MacBooK Pro and..... NO FREEKING AUDIO!!!!
Have rigged a 3.5mm audio cable on MacBook from line-out back to the HD60S+ and now it has audio.... BUT... WAIT FOR IT..... The same solution DOES NOT WORK on the Windows 10 PC's!!!
FFS elgato.... $1,000 in capture devices and NOTHING! Logged a ticket with ELGATO and.... NO RESPONSE....

Hey guys, loving the heck out of the Elgato suite of products. I'm currently rocking two Key Lights which I control with an On/Off button in Stream Deck. I'm having problems suddenly. It's been fine for ages, but now the On/Off button on stream deck is only turning on one light at a time. When I hit it, it has this "On" state in the icon, but it immediately goes to the "Off" state even though one light turns on.

I tried restarting Stream Deck, and that made things even funnier... it'll switch which keylight is activated by the On/Off button

What's EVEN WEIRDER is that if I switch from "All" to one of the key lights... it doesn't matter which one, it'll only operate on ONE of the keylights. So if keylight DAA3 is activated it'll turn on/off E125... and if I switch the button to E125, it'll still focus on E125... it doesn't matter which. Now if I restart stream deck, it could switch lights.

I re-installed control center... which by the way, is working just fine.

but nothing is working to get Stream Deck treat both lights separately.

Hey all, I have the elgato HD60+ and using a ps5 to pc, but in obs as soon as I play a game I get audio in my headphones but nothing to my stream? Any ideas on how to fix, do I need some other hardware?

yeah there's something wrong, I can't seem to get the stream deck to treat both key lights as separate devices. It picks one and every command goes to that one. I suspect it came from the control center plugin upgrade today because it was fine until now.

i just upgraded to windows 11 and i have a button on my streamdeck to turn on both of my keylight airs and its always worked fine before but now it only lights up one of them if i open the control center software both lights are listed and i can turn them on through there.

Well I connected my PC to wifi to setup the lights while having lan connected. Once I was connected to wifi, I then started the control center software, and setup each of my elgato lights. Then I disconnected wifi, and my lights are work after setup.

Have you renamed your lights after setting each one up? I do this. That way they don’t confuse me. Each light usually defaults to it’s serial name.

stream deck doesn't take any light configuration, it just notices control center is up

Hey all, having a problem and wondering if anyone has seen the same.. I use HwinInfo 64 with one of my StreamDecks to display system hardware temps etc.. I am having issues now with the latest version of StreamDeck software displaying HwinInfo64 data. The deck sees the hardware however what it displays visually on a button just says "Please Launch HWINFO64"

As I said though, when you select below what you want to display, it IS seeing the data from HWINFO64 there..

Any ideas?

I have a macbook 2017 pro. And I have a 1920x1080 monitor that I use for my passthrough. The elgato that I'm using is the 4k60 pro mk.2. The current problem that I'm having is "Elgato Game Capture HD video appears in software, but not on passthrough TV" and I checked the help page on elgato's website but I couldn't fix the problem. HDMI cables are working fine. I'm on the proper input. I'm using the Elgato for both PS4 and Switch and they're working fine. Resolution's output's the same as the monitor as well. Did a reset multiple times. Updated the firmware of Elgato. But it's still not working. Can anyonen help? Thanks in advance!

Ah, I'm bit confused about the idea of using the streamdeck as an audio device, I understand you're using voice meter but I can't see the elgato sound outside the capture card source in the first place so I'm a bit confused as to how you managed that.

LOL Seriously? Where you been? Not only is it out but it is integrated into VR goggles and more.. A few months ago the newest edition released and you would not believe the capabilities, accuracy and more.. The Tobii 5 is astounding, which is why I am now an affiliate for Tobii as I was so impressed.. You should see some of my streams.. I can look anywhere, look at a target and lock it with my eyes.. I can check MFD's at a glance. I can use it in FPS mode or in a cockpit both.. I can use just eye tracking, just head tracking or both combined.. It even logs me into ALL my Windows 10 systems with just a glance using biometrics...

What's even better, no wearing ANYTHING on my head and if I get up from my chair then sit back down, it auto picks up where I left off AND you don't have to center or calibrate or anything once you do it on install.. Freaking awesome.

You never even notice it when you use it.. unless you don't use it now because it makes that big an impact on game play

ahh hell, I just found my problem.. Voice meter was taking full control of all audio channels to start.. which means the audio settings in windows we set to exclusive... Since I had to rebuild this system, forgot that I have to turn off audio exlusive mode in windows... geez.

Yeah I haven't had problems but then for some reason my buttons were blank on stream deck. Then I check the plugin and it says it's connected to voicemod but there's no mods available. Even in "all". So that plugin is also broken.

I have been talking to a elgato dev for two months then out of nowhere they stopped talking to me so here is my problem i have a 4k m.2 pro and everytime i try and save a clip after the 4k utility has been open for awhile it crashes my hole pc buy maxing out my disk usage

Second, i have a question about the Stream Deck.

Is there a way for me to mute a specific sound output?
I can mute my "Desktop audio" in OBS through the deck.

But i would find a solution for an example like this:

I press my "starting soon or brb" button on the deck.
The game sound mutes in OBS, but the musicfile i have chosen to play with that button dont get muted.
And with another press the gamesound goes back on and the musicfile gets muted.

Anyway to get a solution for this?

I have a very strange problem with my keylights.

I use a streamdeck to control two keylights.
The first one behaves as expected. But when I turn on the second one with the streamdeck, it also turns on the first one. Also the brightness and warmth controls only work for the first one.
When controlling the lights through the Control Center they work as expected.
I tried re-pairing the second light, updating the software for the streamdeck, deleting the controls in the streamdeck and making new ones.

I hope you can help me with this problem.

Hello everyone, I recently got my PS5 and plugged everything in like normal with my elgato and then I went to OBS so that I could listen to the audio whilst also being in discord so that I could hear both. However listening to the PS5/Elgato audio is unbearable and is like someone is blowing down there mic constantly x100. This never happen with my PS4 and was perfect but has with my PS5 any advice/help is appreciated

Hi all, so came here hoping I might get some advice.

Using the 4k60 pro MK.2 with a series X, and have been for a few months no issues. Recently changed my setup to include a gaming pc, with the capture card in the same pc its always been in - now the streaming pc.

Recently I have had an issue - ONLY with the console (when using the gaming pc this is not a problem) - with occasional flickering.

Theres no pattern to it. Sometimes it will go 30 minutes without a "no signal" flicker, sometimes it will rapid fire a no signal flicker for 5 minutes straight ever 5 to 10 seconds.

I have changed hdmi cables, I have uninstalled/installed the driver many times, performed. cold boot on the pc - nothing seems to fix this.

Any ideas of things I can try, even if they are unlikely id love to hear, cause its really killing my content this last week and have gone through about every reddit on this topic with no luck.

Heya, im having a issue with the Elgato HD60S not having game audio on my Nintendo Switch console which for some reason whenever i have game opened and on the screen its not getting any audio, ive tried reinstalling the "game capture HD" software twice and resetting my audio settings for it, the software is up to date, and i have restarted my pc and replugged in the hdmi cables to my devices a couple times...Im not sure if this is a common problem but if anyone knows a solution to this i'd be happy to hear because this is really frustrating. Im not really good with wording things so if this doesnt make sense heres a screenshot of the problem for a better understanding. thanks!

have you tried the 4k utility app instead. it works with hd60s as for the audio it's not muted is it? if you have sound capture installed it could be the settings in it too.

I use OBS or Streamlabs OBS, so it's not required, but in the event you made need to do a firmware update per elgato tech support, you may want to have 4k utility installed.

Okay so your console > hd60s > you graphics card right? You should be able to create a scene in obs add your video capture device (hd60), add your audio source (hdmi I believe) and boom hit record.

agreed, because i'm a bit stumped on this myself. i would think the dual pc setup may help since one is a streaming laptop, and the other a gaming pc, but 4 monitors I'm not quite sure. Like is the laptop connected to 1 monitor, and the gaming pc with 2 monitors? it's a bit confusing.

If you want the game your playing on console on a specific monitor then yes it should go from the console > hd60 > specific monitor. All the hd60 does is make that console (source) available in obs. So yeah maybe just a little more information on what exactly you want to happen with a single pc setup would help.

Streaming & recording at the same time is very process dependent and relies a lot on what you’re working with on the pc side. If you’re experiencing a lot of lag in your recordings it may have to do with your graphics card being incapable of doing so much at once. The hd60 is typically used to bring a console game into obs so I just want to make sure you’re playing MW on a console right?

If you are using a headset, unplug it. If you are just using HDMI audio, make sure that the audio in the software is set to HDMI and not analog in the device settings. make sure that sound capture is set to off. If you have another source, test with that to see if the audio is coming through. reach out to me if you need any more help!

you sent along a dual PC setup guide that included VM banana. Elgato doesn't recommend using third party applications to route audio. They recommend using sound capture to transfer audio. this involves installing the GCHD software (along with the sound capture software) then setting it to PC gaming. you will want to set your first option to the place you want to hear the audio, then you will want to set the second option to Elgato (nvidia or AMD high definition audio). I know it's a dual PC setup guide, but the audio will come up if not done properly. @brazen schooner

Hello everyone, i got my Elgato HD60S+ today I am expericing a lot of issues when trying to stream from my switch. Things I've tried:

• Updating AMD Chipset Drivers
• Changing Powerlevel Options
• Untick the Option in Device Managers that allowes your PC to power them off
• Changing every possible USB-Port on my PC
• Updated all Drivers
• Hardware Acceleration is off

Now my issue:
I am trying to play from my Switch, but I noticed that I sometimes just have a screen/ Capture Card Freeze. I tried to reproduce the Issue but I can't 100% say what it is. I think it got something to do with opening another Tab on my PC. Usually the Freeze occurs when I try to open the Browser or Discord. Important: I can't get the 4k Ultility Software to work. It just doesn't want to work. If I use it just with streamlabs it seems to work for most of the time. I am using Streamlabs also as a window to see what's going on in my game. If I use the HDMI OUT and plug it into my screen it doesn't work at all. Not even the slightest bit.
