Having issues with Audio with my 4k60S+. Uploaded this video to show what I mean. It's kind of hard to describe, but it's almost as if certain sounds are getting oddly pitch shifted

Doesn't happen over Analog audio, but that isn't viable for a lot of my systems

I have the some problem, sometimes frequently sometimes not. I have no clue why some days elgato just fires up fine in 1 go. Other times it will never connect for no reason

Tested multiple sources, sound is now normal. No clue why updating my GPU helped but I'm glad it did lmao

Hey guys, I went through other messages and cant find a fix here so hoping someone can help me

This is my current setup

Super Nintendo > Av to hdmi converter > elgato hd60 +S > PC

I downloaded 4k capture utility so i can view and play my game, But there is a half a second delay while im playing, Example when i jump in a game like mario it will jump half a second later after pressing the button.

Is their a fix?

try looking for firmware updates on ur elgato, do some debugging (try using a different input to elgato, try a different hdmi cable, try hdmi cable somewhere else, try direct hdmi connection to monitor), and look into the spec of your adapter- if i had to guess its the adapter. @low moat

Hi, Can anyone help me figure out if I'm getting Dolby Atmos through my headphones. I have my wave 3 connected to the pc and I'm using the wave link system as my default audio on my pc. I have my headphones just connected to my pc headphone jack and I'm running Dolby Atmos app on the pc. But not sure if it's working correctly. Definitely sounds different to before I used the wave system software. Or do I have this setup incorrectly.

Hey buddy, Just FYI mate. Its meant to have a delay 🙂 But i have worked it out, Just going to link it to my CRT old screen TV and find an adaptor to still connect to my capture card

You cannot play games on the elgato capture program it self, Will always be a delay. You need to plug it into a CRT and play off that.

Hey everyone this question is most likely asked to death but I've gotten to a point in the elgato set-up where I'm trying to get it to work on OBS but just can't for some reason. T^T

I used the Game Capture HD software and it says the 60HDS+ isn't supported and while the 4K capture works I can't get it to actually send the signal to OBS.

Do you have them open at the same time? See if your video source via HD60S+ is pulling up in OBS, or switch it to another source and then back again. Or remove the source via OBS and redo it. 😊

Is your OUT to your TV/Monitor, and IN to your Console or Gaming PC? Unplug for 1 min, replug, maybe reboot, or reconfigure your settings. Try new cables, if still nothing open a support ticket.

I have an issue with the game capture utility for the elgato HD60+. It says I need the 4K capture utility but that’s only available for Windows but I have a Mac. I downloaded the regular Game Capture utility and it crashes upon launch every time. Any advice?

I haven't experienced this via Mac OS. I'd say unplug for 1 min plug in, and see if that helps, and yeah only 1 program for Mac. Also try a different usb port, or maybe a new cable.

Can anyone maybe help me with my headset issues? I'm getting a wind tunnel sound when I play Apex. When I shoot a gun it literally sounds like i'm in a tunnel. Anyone having this issue, or have had this issue with your headset plugged into the back of your wave 3 mic? Is it in my software that I'm having issues? I've tried 2 different headsets to see if it was one of them, wasn't the issue. So I'm guessing it's somewhere within the elgato software?

On the Elgato Wave Link what is the Mic/PC Mix for? I can't tell a difference except it makes it so I Can't hear my mic audio. But I always hear the PC audio.

have you tried to listen outside of the wave mic, vs headphone jack on the mic? I personally don’t use that feature, but I have a wireless usb headset that I can still monitor through. with the software. I use the mic mainly for my audience to hear me, and the rest is all routed through my headset via wavelink to hear what I want.

I'm having issues capturing my PC. It was working before but now it just shows no signal. I'm using a Elgato 4k60Pro Mk2 and my GPU is a GTX 1080. I have 3 monitors and my capture card.

Monitor 1 (main monitor) and 2(capture card) are duplicated.
A DVI plugin is for one of my monitors and my third is displayport.
My HDMI is used for VR Headset.

When I don't duplicate and change the refresh rate to lower than 144hz it works and was working before.

Okay, I've tried several USB C to 3.0 wires and anytime I try to connect them to my HD60 S I can't a message from windows saying that it can't recognize the USB. Hi everybody. Been in talks with Elgato Support with no success on a CamLink 4K problem. Have the GoPro 8 w/ Media Mod, CamLink 4K and HDMI-microHDMI cable but my Source on the 4K Capture Utility will only ever go as high as 1080p59. My stats on PC (according to the requirements on Elagto’s site) are good enough. Changed HDMI-microHDMI cables tonight and still having the issue. Any ideas?

Good evening all, I have been experiencing issues where my audio becomes choppy while streaming. It will be fine for about 20-30 mins before the audio cuts out. It’s not constant, but rather in and out. This also only seems to happen with gameplay through HD60 PRO. Both outputs for audio show fine and have no issues on the wavelink software. I've tried both ports and several different cables. The ports shouldn't be the issue, as it recognizes anything else I plug in using those two ports anf cables I used. Someone said that it's likely that the elgato is drawing too much power, so I have a USB 3.0 hub arriving tomorrow and hopefully that fixes things.

Hello! I recently bought the latest iPad Pro 11" and I have an Elgato HD60S. I get a no signal error on OBS/Game Capture HD.
I know this is an HDCP issue but I have no clue how to fix it... I heard it can be fixed with an HDMI splitter that can remove HDCP but there are so many products, I don't know which one to choose.

1. When I plug the 3.0 into a 3.0 usb port it says "window power surge"
2. When I put my hdmis, my TV or monitor doesn't have signal (yes i put my out hdmi to my TV/monitor. and my in hdmi from the xbox)

haven't been able to find anything on this but yesterday i got an hdmi splitter to record ps3 at first i was getting an issue where there would be audio on the homescreen but whenever i was to enter a game i would get a loud static noise and wouldn't stop until i quit back to the homescreen then both homescreen audio and game audio wouldn't work and haven't been able to get it working again and sometimes it will work then stop i tried again today messed with some ps3 sound settings and had it where homescreen audio worked and then when enter a game i didn't get static noise but gsme sound would stop

Hello, I’m new here and I have an issue regarding my Elgato Key Light.

I have been using and enjoying it for months, when one day it randomly disconnected.

I’ve followed these steps just like when I originally set it up, I even get the “This accessory has joined your network.” I go back to the Control Center app on my phone and nothing is connected. I’m very confused.

Okay so not accidentally hidden, and I assume it was setup correctly as you've had to do it a few times already. Check in your router then, and make sure the Key Light does not share an IP address with any other device, sometimes the auto-assign will mess up.

There is no option in OBS Live under audio Settings to select WaveLink Stream for an input option. If I use WaveLink System or WaveLink monitor, OBS ignores my sound level settings in WaveLink and plays everything at full volume..... HELP!!! Lol

Does anyone know if the elgato 4K60S+ will accept headphone level audio through its stereo line level port? I have a mixer but it only does Left or Right line level audio, aux send audio, Aux R and L and headphone audio outputs. I believe only the headphone is a stereo output at this point. Hi all.. Ok I am stuck.. Just bought a 4K60 Pro Mk.2 And I will be damned if I can get the thing to work... at all. Installed the mk2 software on Elgato's site. Am on a CLEAN system, nothing else installed except SLOBS. When I load the Capture software, it just tells me other software is running and to shut it down... problem is there is no other software running.

In options, it sees the device once I had the game capture drivers for the mk2 installed.. If I do not install those, the capture software does not see the hardware at all.

Ideas?

Oh and SLOBS does not see the video hardware at all but does apparently see the audio channel

Did you route your game in Wavelink? Via Game? If Game isn't your Default, try Aux 1, and enable that for stream/monitor mix to hear it. I usually setup this area for any game via here.

I use OBS. I have 2 mics. One is the Wave I use for my audience when streaming, or commentating. The other is my headset mic that doesn't come through the stream. I only have 1 mic setup for wavelink. I have my headset setup via discord so my party can hear me, and they can be on my stream, but not a double mic. If you don't have a wave mic, you can just set it up as an audio input in OBS.

Setup your default to AUX 1, and then setup in Wavelink as an input for Aux 1 for those games that don't route to the Game input. I have the same issue with GTA V. So it a workaround. It will work. 😉

No, the console would work with a controller, or a possibly a keyboard/mouse connected to the console, but the PC can not play it, only capture the game play/audio. As for PC gaming that’s another story. PC gaming can use the keyboard and mouse. 😉

I have the GoPro 8 w/ Media Mod, CamLink 4K and HDMI-microHDMI cable but my Source on the 4K Capture Utility will only ever go as high as 1080p59. My stats on PC (according to the requirements on Elagto’s site) are good enough. I changed HDMI-microHDMI cables a couple nights ago and still having the issue. Any ideas? One more thing with stream deck program , why does the sources or light names jusr bug out and cannot be controlled?

I have my setting in Discord setup for my headset mic, and then routed to wavelink. You could do the same for your wave3 mic if that's what you use under input device. just make sure your output device is going to wavelink.

Set it up under Aux 1, and use Aux 1 as your default. GTAV does this to me as well. Then Make sure your wavelink has Aux 1 setup too. Then you can hear the game, and or stream the audio too.

Hey guys, i'm new to the discord, but needing some help with my HD60 S. I'm on a dual PC setup, and i use my HD60 S to capture my DSLR onto my stream PC (I use my HD60 Pro to connect my gaming PC) and although it works fine when it works, I'm having trouble with it working consistently. Sometimes it takes turning it on and off 2 times, sometimes 10 before it actually shows on my OBS. It doesn't have an error message or say anything about no connection found, just a black screen. Howdy folks, I have a 4k60 capture card and have used it for many of my consoles without issue. I do have an issue though with my PS2. Hallo! A question about Elgato HD60 S and Streamlabs OBS --

Since I've started using the elgato to stream, it has deeply reduced the audio of my mic in OBS besides me changing none of the settings. Not sure what's happening on the back-end that's made it change.

The other thing is that even after shutting off the elgato (even through Task Manager), the program still appears to be running? Like, I have it shut off, there's no task, but I can still see/control it on my stream preview.

Try rebooting, sometimes it continues to tun for me too. As for audio make sure you didn’t change the levels. If anything try unplugging and plugging back the capture card after 1 min.

If it’s wifi then there is a lag. I experience this streaming Pokèmon Go. If I knew how to do it via cable, maybe that would be better.

If your in discord, shut off all those modifiers. All those extra sound enhancers and add on’s, turn them off OR turn off those enhancements in Wave Link.

you can't do chatlink without being in analog, however if you want to record game audio without chat you may want to take analog off. I think there is a way to do party chat to talk to your friends, but not capture it, via not in analog mode, but still capture game audio. Try it without analog see if that works 🙂

Hey guys, just got hd60s+, I just plugged it all in but now my resolution is cap at 1920x1080

My monitor has a resolution of 2560x1440

I run the app and it flickers until it eventually settled for 1080p, I tried to change the resolution on NVIDIA Control Panel at first it let me but it was all grainy, then it didn’t let me change it but it wasn’t grainy anymore. I once again tried changing it and it let me have 2560x1440, I reset my computer and now it’s back to 1080p 🤦‍♂️

hey guys so i just recently got a stream deck and have been encountering an error message everytime I start up my computer and I think it caused my computer to restart yesterday during a stream, which sucked. My work has me acting a a "one way mirror" using one zoom meeting to show a zoom meeting taking place in a different location. Everything was running smoothly until recently when Zoom started dropping to 5fps, and it is being sent in 1080p, when I just need 720p. I have done the whole "optimize for video" within zoom and it drops to 720/30 but the sync is WAY off with audio ahead by sometimes half to a full second.

If I could just get the HD60S+ to act as if it was receiving 720 instead of 1080, it should raise the fps I would think?

I have tried all possible zoom settings to get it to raise fps (I am aware that this end might be a zoom thing) and the internet is hard wired and speed tested from both origin and termination. No loss of speeds or change in anything in that realm. The ONLY thing I can think of is the update to zoom, but I might be able to work around it if there is a way to drop a 60S+ to 720.

Sadly the 60S doesn't have the right pass through for audio, or I would use that 🙂

Curious if anyone has ran into this, ever since 5.0 came out my StreamDeck (app) locks up when loading anything with an html component, even the store. Restarting the app or Windows does not help. I have even gone as far as reinstall windows which works for awhile but then eventually streamdeck will start "Not Responding" and just locks up.

It takes a while to load the plugins on 4.9 and appears to freeze, but eventually comes through. This does not happen in 5.0 as it never loads. I have a 3090.

if you right click your start button on bottom left. you should see device manager. under that you should see universal serial bus controllers. if you expand that it should list the brand of your usb 3 cotrollers

Hi there, I'm hoping this is the correct place to ask a question! I am receiving an HD60 Pro tomorrow and to allow for a smooth setup I would like some advice. I have a 1660 Super with 2x HDMI outputs (going to two monitors) and one D-Port (going to a VR headset).

I want to be able to connect my Switch or PS4 for recording/streaming but also have easy access to my current dual monitor setup (dual monitor PC output) when I'm not using a console.

1. Should I be able to use an HDMI switch (2-in, 1-out) to switch between video card and console input? If so, am I correct that the output of the HDMI switch would go to the HD60 Pro input and the HD60 Pro out would go to my primary monitor?

2. Will/should I be able to use the capture card for PC recording when the HDMI switch is set to dual PC monitor output?

hopefully someone in here can assist me. im trying to set up a 2 pc set up, but i am running into some issues. Im using a 4k60pro capture card, i also have an hd60s, and i use the wave3 mic. i need to keep my mic on my gaming pc because when I play crossplay games with friends, we have to use game chat due to them being on ps4. is there anyway to make this set up work? without getting another mic? id like to avoid using ndi, since i already have the capture cards.

hey guys so I'm trying to capture my ps3 with my hd60 s+ but when i plug it into the capture card it just displays a black screen and even weirder on my monitor it detects a signal from the capture card, but the screen is just black like the capture card output on my pc is

update: found out the problem is caused by playstation's forcing of dchp and you can only record using component cables

Anyone got issues with some games not routing to "Game" at all on the wavelink? Seem to only have this with Battlefield 4, Subnautica whatnot

Try setting Aux 1 as default, and adding Aux 1 to wavelink's inputs.

try unplugging the capture card for 1 min, and plug back in. also make sure IN is connected to your Console/PC< and OUT is to your Monitor/TV

So for future reference. I had my mic and stream audio jacked up. On top of that, I had filters on my stream audio for my mic and it was actually clipping the music, so the music wouldnt run at all. After flipping them, and moving the audio filters to the mic input, everything works great. Thank you again for your time and patience. Love this company and community.

I got it fixed also my monitor runs 120 hz but when i have my hdmi plugged into my elgato it doesn’t anyway im able to make it run 120 hz or do i have to use 60hz when streaming or recording

Is there any benefit to using a HD60Pro capture card to capture/record PC gameplay instead of just using an app like Streamlabs? Like, by taking the output from your video card and plugging it into the input of the capture card.

Hi I just want to say my problem is fixed, I actually bought a 4k60 pro mk2 for a single pc setup just because it's the only way to stream and record destiny and a few other games without having to play in windowed mode. So far I have it setup and it works great on my single monitor and pc setup

Yikes. Don't know about others.

But my personal experience with the 4k60 PRO was absolute garbage.

Its entirely possible that BOTH of my PC's PCI-E ports are Borked.

But when I plugged it in, the footage I received was completely covered in static and crap.

No help from official support what so ever.

Amazon required me to contact support. Of course Support was completely pathetic.

The usual drone who knows absolutely nothing.

It really annoys me how you have to fight your way through drones before you can actually get any true support.

They suggest completely obvious stuff you will have already tried.

They suggested I rub toothpaste on the gold connectors with a pencil eraser.

I told them to get stuffed because it would probably invalidate the warranty.

Proper Dodgy.

Anyway.

I eventually got a Refund from Amazon.

Again, Its completely possible that both of my PCI-E ports are borked.

Z390 Aorus Master. It cost around £350 I mean just because it was expensive doesn't mean its good although everything else works fine. GPU, CPU, PSU, Sooo I have to presume the 4K 60pro were crap.

Amazon are known for buying counterfeit stock, But these worked with the software fine and couldn't possibly be counterfiet. Just a really poor product.

I was really disappointed because 4K 60fps sounded like a dream, Even though I didn't have anything that did 4K 60fps but the option would have been nice.

I don't need more than 1080 at 60 currently. Because YouTube completely ruins my Stream Quality anyway.

I like the Idea of the HD60S+ Just wish it had a 3.5mm Input and Output.

4K60S+ Is stupid money. I know it needs its own internal processor and thats where the price is from. But Elgato's PCI-E Boards seem to be really poor.
