Hey guys. I have some trouble with my Stream Deck (15 btn). The bottom right button seems to be a little bit glitchy. It shows some "artifacts". Switching the profile seems to fix it for a short amount of time but shortly after that it starts again. Is that a known problem and are there any fixes or is it just broken and I need to RMA it?

Got a question about my HD60Pro

Lately while playing, it loses the feed to my switch requiring me to restart the rogram multiple times, or the video feed keeps freezing and stopping.

I updated the software to 3.70.51.3051 thinking that was the issue and it worked for a bit but then it caused more problems, either by being stuck on the "detecting signal" or it detects the signal but the preview shows nothing.

After multiple restarts today I uninstalled it and re-installed 3.70.43.3043 and it worked for several hours before it too started experiencing the "detecting signal"/Black preview screen issue. Updating it back to the latest version did nothing.

I'm uninstalling the software again and deleting my settings and I plan on reinstalling the older software again but I have no idea what's causing the issue. Short of moving the card to another slot , I've tried everything I can think of. Any suggestions? The card's just under a year old

Edit: I'm trying to stream my switch. It's worked fine for months and the problems have only been recent.

Edit 2: just changed the slot it was in and it's currently working. I'll keep testing tonight and tomorrow. It's possible that maybe the PCI slot is going bad, not sure yet

Edit 3: changing the PCI slot does nothing after putting the computer to sleep. It's currently working after a reset though

Has anyone else experienced the following issue while using a Wave3 and the Wave Link software? My computer briefly freezes or stutters, and from that point forward my outbound audio becomes robotic. Sometimes it can be fixed in streamlabs by changing what audio the source is referring to and then changing it back, but most of the time it can only be fixed by unplugging the Wave3 and plugging it back in (not an ideal solution while streaming). I'm not sure if the problem is my computer, the software, or the Mic itself. Any advice would be appreciated. I uninstalled AND reinstalled game capture software, unhooked my elgato and re hooked it in, restarted my PC and shut it down for 10-15 mins and it still says "One Moment please". I'm not sure how to fix this issue. If someone can help me out that be more than appreciated

Hi guys, I have Elgato 4K60 Mk2 and when I do ALT+TAB at my gaming PC, OBS preview gets corrupted at my streaming PC. It becomes up side down. I have to do another ALT+TAB at my gaming PC to fix the issue. I have upgraded my capture card firmware to the latest version also its driver. Nothing changed, still OBS preview gets corrupted. if your computer freezes then you need to clean it up. like dust or from overheating etc... maybe your drives are full and then arent enough space or cache.

Hello, I’m new here. I bought the HD60S capture card before and returned it because I could never get it to work. I bought it again and I’m still having issues with it. Wave Link question, so I often find myself having to go into Sound Mixer on Windows and updating things like my Browser and Spotify outputs from Wave Link to my Monitor or visa versa depending on if I am wearing my headset or not

Is there either: 1: A way to setup a button on the Stream Deck to just auto toggle these back and forth or 2: a better way to be handling this versus having to keep my Sound Mixer open all all day to adjust the Output.

I moved away and when i plugged everything back in the same way it was before i moved im getting a "No signal", im using the 4k 60 mk2 capture card and im using a 2pc set up. Anyone have any idea why this is happening now?

I have already done the uninstall the drivers and reinstall them. I also deactivated and reactivated it in the SLOBS and in the Device manager. I reslotted the Capture card and used a new HDMI cord. Nothing is working.

I know the Capture card still works because my VMB picks up the audio the cord is transmitting. So the CC is connecting to my gaming pc from my streaming PC

Okay so just incase anyone else has the same problem make sure you goto your Device settings in the 4k video app and change the EDID (Internal) into 1080 or 1440p because default broke it for some reason.

Or i just don't remember changing it in the first place and unplugging it reset it to default.

Hi! I'm having an issue with my elgato HD60 s lately! I had an upgrade on my pc by swapping motherboard etc and had to reinstall windows and everything, and for some reason, the capture card is starting to stutter in the audio randomly and gets delayed, which have not been a problem before (I'm using it in OBS studio btw). I have tried uninstalling the drivers, and the elgato game capture program, and reinstalled them both, and the problem keeps coming back. It can be fine for a few minutes but it goes back to stuttering after that and I really don't know what to do about it

Now my issue is that when I try streaming from twitch I can't hear the game audio but my audience can but when I change the audio output mode from capture audio only to Output desktop audio I can hear the sounds from the game, but the stream can not. I just got the wave 3 mic today and after playing around with it for 5/6 hours, it works really well, except for the tap to mute function at the very top of the microphone. It doesn't do anything at all and has proved to be quite frustrating :((

I stream with a capture card through xbox one and use obs, so I have to use a chat link to have game chat included on cross platform games.

My question is, how do I still use an xbox party when I want to and have the party chat included in my stream audio?

I tried the simplest way, just literally joining a party and it didn't work. But I'm not sure how to pick up that audio for the stream. I know when you are streaming through xbox you can do it, but I prefer to use my capture card and obs.

i was able to fix this:

1. audio setting within GeForce Experience, set source as either your monitor mix or your wavelink stream mix
2. in windows app volume device preferences set the nvidia container output to your headphones and your input to your mic.

Like a month ago I bought my HD60 S to stream my gameplay from my Xbox Series S but it doesn't turn on anymore. When I got it, I plugged it to my computer and a red light flashed, I guess it was because it wasn't plugged to a USB 3.0 port, after that I bought a USB 3.0 hub to connect the capture card but it doesn't even flash anything. I plugged to a usb 2.0 and doesn't do anything, not even the red light. Hey everyone! I recently bought a fujifilm T-X200 and I wanted to use it for streaming at 1440p. My current setup is with an elgato camlink. However, upon connecting the camera to the computer I noticed that the output was only at HD quality. Could anyone help? As of yet I've been unable to find many articles written about using Fujifilm cameras for streaming. 😦

First steps would be to make sure that you have the Cam Link 4K instead of the original Cam Link as the original can only do up to 1080p and to use the 4K Capture Utility (if you're using if you are using Elgato's software) instead of Game Capture as Game Capture is also locked to 1080p. Also make sure you're using the latest version of the software.

Looking into your camera's manual, it doesn't appear to have a movie mode for 1440p and that you can either record at 1080p or 4K. That might be your issue. A workaround is that you can downscale the capture source from 4K to 1440p in your streaming software of choice. In OBS you can use a scaling filter or you can just resize the capture source in the preview window, right click the source, mouse over "Scale Filtering," and select the filter that looks the best for your purposes. I'd recommend Bicubic.

I can understand that this might be because actions after that would never be reached, but in this case I want an intro followed by a looping backing track, ideally on one button. Can anyone think of a way?

Thinking off the top of my head, having the backing track be a media source in your streaming software and controlling it there through Stream Deck actions would probably work better than using the Stream Deck software to play the audio. I'd have to spend some time experimenting with it to provide a step-by-step but that's where I would start.

The problem that I'm having is despite that the quality still shows as 1080p. I've read online that that the problem could be with the cable that I'm using and that some of the mini hdmi to hdmi cables aren't able to do 4k?

That is true. You'll want to use an HDMI cable with a maximum bandwidth around 18 Gbps and they're, often labeled as "premium high speed." You'll also want to be mindful of the length of the cable as longer runs can have signal problems. That said, I am not sure if having a cable that is too slow would cause the issue you're having, but it would be worth looking into anyway if the following doesn't work.

I found a thread of someone having the same issue and they found that you need to hit the record button in order for the camera to output at 4K. Also make sure that the "4K Movie Output" mode is set to HDMI and it may help to update the firmware of the camera if it is out of date.

Hello I have an issue and would be grateful if someone could help! Whilst recording in OBS Studio (at this point my HD60s is hooked up and working), occasionally the video and audio just completely cut out, leaving me with a black screen and no sound at all. This happens once or sometimes twice every 30 minutes or so whilst recording footage, (sometimes it even does it whilst i'm not recording!) I'm really concerned that something may be going wrong my my device and thought that maybe by checking here someone might know some way to fix this issue. If anyone has had something like this before, please let me know! 🙂

If you are using a desk top pc, check the back of the pc for USB ports.

If laptop, check the sides.

Ok so, you should have two or more USB ports on the side of the laptop. If they are all being used you’ll need to get a USB hub to get more USB ports.

Well that sucks. You need USB 3.0. If your laptop doesn’t support USB 3.0, you may be out of luck.

Buying a USB hub will NOT fix your problem if your laptop doesn’t support USB 3.0

So I recently set up my double pc set up and have been streaming using the 4k60 to capture my gameplay but today after a windows update I haven't been able to get anything to show up on obs or on the software for the 4k60.

Hello all! Sorry for the dumb question. I run my headphones into my wave 3 for audio output, and it’s worked great for me until the last two days. For the last two days, my volume output of all my applications keeps changing (getting louder). I can turn the volume down using the dial on the front of the wave 3, but I’ve physically watched the lights just eventually change back and progressively go back to full volume (I usually keep it at 50%). Any idea what would cause this or how to fix it?

Hi, sorry for barging in on you all

So, I've got a HD60 S+, and it is really a very nice piece of equipment. The output looks quite good (running a two pc setup) and everything just seems to be chugging along nicely

My problem, however, is when I am not streaming and using my computer for work

The monitor connected through the elgato is a lot more blurry than my other monitor

Left side is elgato-connected screen, right side is straight from computer. I know it's not very clear but looking close enough I think it is evident that there's a lot of blur to the outlines of the text.

reddish tint means bad hdmi cable if it comes from elgato. use the silver hdmi cable. other hand change your resolution screen inwondows to fix your problem
