Anyone know a solution to my Elgato 4K60 Pro giving me a "No Signal" image.

I've tried multiple software (OBS, Xsplit, 4K Capture Utility) and none of them display an image.

The device is working as a passthrough perfectly fine, as everything appears on the screens as they should.

I've tried uninstalling the device from Device Manager. Also tried disabling/enabling it there. Checked all the drivers are updated. Tried different cables. Even physically removed the capture card from the PCI slot... I'm officially out of ideas.

Excuse me sir, I have a problem with my Elgato while recording my Nintendo Wii:
I am using a devide called Wii2hdmi that let's you plug your Nintendo Wii to an HDMI cable.
I tried using that on my ELGATO HD60S and it works with all the games, except Mario Party 8: when I try to record that game the audio glitches out and I don't know why...

Good evening everyone, I have a question :
My elgato HD60 S and a HDMI to USB C adaptater just arrived today.
My aim is to can share my phone's screen to my pc.
But, I have a Big problem, on the elgato games capture, it does'nt recognize my cell phone ( I have a Xiaomi ==> Android)
I thought I heard I must have an HDMI splitter, beacause of an encryption to protect copyrights (there is not for iOS)

My questions are :
Is there any else solutions to share my phone's screen ?
If not, what hard/software must I buy, a splitter is enough ? (In addition to the HD60S and thé adaptater)

i h ave the asus 360 hz monitor, at first it was bringing my refresh rate to 60hz whenever i duplicated over but i was able to get it back to 240, sometimes it'll show 360 but idk whats causing the change

Hello, i still have a problem with my Elgato HD60S. on the software it looks clean but on the console itself the edges around letters are very pixely/low res and sometimes when i play i see pixels around players etc. i tried everything but it has nothing to do with the drivers. Please help me, Lars.

issue w/ elgato 4k60, it's capturing audio but sometimes on stream the audio sounds laggy and sometimes robotic. I have to deactivate and reactivate in OBS on stream to fix or change sound to something else then back to its original to reset it, any ideas?

Hello, Is there anyone that can help me with an issue? I have and hd60 and my game shows up perfectly crisp on streamlabs obs, but on my actual monitor it's showing a distorted and cracked image, occasionally going to black screen. The monitor has no issues, so I'd like some help as to what it could be, thank you very much in advance!

Got a real pickle. I've the 4k60 pro mk2. As of recent when I run my xbox the capture card just flickers and won't bother with with capturing. Tried to see if it will work at 4k and so far with 2 monitors and 4 hdmi 4k certified cables I get nothing in through put or capture. On both the ps5 and xbox series x the hdcp is off. Any help would be awesome

hey guys, my HD60pro which worked just fine on dual pc, just won't be detected by windows/Nvidia anymore on main pc. The card is seen fine on stream pc as a hardware, but no signal, and on gaming pc cannot duplicate (nothing found on nvidia).

the card was just inactive for two years, i highly doubt it has any damage or defect.

*(rebooted multiple times, rolled back drivers, used different cables, fresh installed drivers.... i am lost, it used to work just plug and play and detected as another monitor and in Nvidia control panel. on gaming pc)

Hi does anybody know how I can do this: So I'm tryna make it so I can assign a pedal to my streamdeck to trigger actions there, but I cant seem to get it to work somehow, basically I want to figure out how to use 2 foot pedals that when u press triggers a "keyboard key", and I want this keyboard key to trigger one of 15-20 keys randomly, so if I keep pressing it will trigger one key and one key and one key and so on, it's basically like the streamdeck random action button, exactly that but triggered with my pedals. I thought about using a macro program, downloaded 2 programs and I have no clue what to do on it lol

It's been working fine for me on Windows, although there may be something preventing your machine from getting it to work. I do recommend giving the network connection a try - it's a lot more seamless that way

Ok i was wrong. it was already plugged into the motherboard directly but I switched to another port anyway and its still nothing. It cant plug into the back of the mic since its a usb mic and regardless that's what I'm kinda trying to avoid having to do.

Hi guys... I've realized I experience a second or more of delay in sound when routing it through wave link. It doesn't happen when sound doesn't go through it, so it is definetely related with the app... Has anyone experienced anything similar? Could anyone help?

Trying to just have sound in one of my stream templates as it's just my camera, and chat box but I have to have the elgato 4k capture activated for my audio to go through and theres no way to turn on the video element. Is there a workaround?

Not sure whats going on, but my Wave 3 keeps changing its audio volume output for some reason. I never touch or change it, yet one day apparently no one can barely hear me, then the next day it sounds like I am shouting. I am starting to get really frustrated as all my previous mics never had an issue like this - and its persisting across multiple programs (slack, teams, discord, ect..)

You could try just plugging in anothr hdmi and mirroring the displays, that way it's putting out to your actual display and mirroring it into the capture card, but you'll probably take a hit in game performance doing that. Out of curiosity, what's your setup, one pc, two pcs? And what software are you using to stream, you might just be better off letting the software capture the display

In that case, I think I'd just set up to do display/game capture there if you want to hang onto the 144hz until your second box gets in, then id just pop your hd60 pro into that one and do the mirrored display output and see how it performs

Messing around with the Crop tool in settings, there's only two options, "None" and "Overscan"

neither changes the TV display. If I go to Overscan, all that does is now the HD60S recording matches the bad crop

Can anyone help with a strange problem? I have a couple of Elgato Key Lights. I’m able to use Control Center on Windows to control them, but no matter what I do, I can’t get my MacBook Pro, iPhone X, or iPad to see them. They’re on the same network. I’m clueless as to what’s going on.

Just want to give a quick update. i fixed my problem but i don't exactly know what i did to do so. I downloaded sound pad to add sound effects into my streams and it asked for mic permissions so i allowed them and restated my computer. all of a sudden everything is working fine so I'm guessing that's what the problem was. just wanted to let everyone know in case someone else is having the same issues i was and id like to give a BIG Thanks to everyone who tried to help me out before!!! @vivid harbor and @dense cradle

Hi,

I've bought a key light air, but it doesn't seem to work yet..

Here is the thing: I don't have a wifi adapter on my PC so I am trying to add it via the Control Center app on my Galaxy S10. The app can find the Key Light, and let's me choose my wifi network and type in my password for the wifi network. But I cannot get past the Connecting "Elgato Key Light Air" to "name of my wifi network" screen. The Key Light even turns off and back on twice during the process, but then it keeps going to Accessory not found. Please try connecting "Elgato Key Light Air" again. And before I can even click ok, it says found new accessories and asks if I want to connect them.

Another strange thing is though: while the software is telling me it couldn't connect, it kinda does in a way. The software on my pc (and stream deck) is rarely picking up it's signal and immediately loses it's connection right away, so I have barely enough time to set a colour temperature or so. I've read some had to send their light to Elgato for a replacement, but since I don't have that much patience I bought two other key light air's (with after pay, whooo!) to check if they have the same issue and guess what.. THEY DO!

What am I doing wrong and how can I resolve this anoying issue, because the light itself is amazing, but I want to bloody controle it.

i was wondering how to get my alert sound seperate in the wavelink. As it is now, its on my Browser sound. I can add it as a SFX sound in the wavelink, but is still plays on my browser sounds aswell, making it play double 😄

Hey everyone! I posted in camera-chat but was told to maybe ask here. I have the 4k Camera Link and a BMPCC6k and for some reason OBS doesn't recognize the 4kcam link and when it does it'll work for 2 minutes on stream and then freeze. I've tried switching the USB ports but now the 4kcam link isn't even being recognized by OBS and I just have no idea where to go from here.

hi! i'm having issues setting my elgato 4k60pro mk2 up with my ps5 at 1080p 120hz
my monitor is a samsung cfg70 (or maybe cfg73, i don't remember exactly), but it definitely supports 1080p at 144hz through displayport, and 1080p at 120hz through HDMI
when i'm not using the elgato, my ps5 can output at 1080p 120hz (as shown in black ops cold war), however as soon as i start using the elgato, it no longer gives me this option
any help would be appreciated!

hey would anyone know how much power the elgato stream deck needs? I have it plugged into a usb hub but sometimes it wont turn on because not enough power or the data isn't being transferred through the long cable. sometimes it works though. Thanks for any info in advance!

For some reason, my Nvidia ShadowPlay replays have no audio while using Wave Link - anyone know of a solution? It picks up my mic/input, but doesn't pickup my output audio. Unfortunately, there's no way to change the default output via ShadowPlay

Alright, so...
I've posted my issue here before. Sent an email to Elgato, they said to mess around with encoding/decoding settings which resulted in no meaningful changes to my problem.

I'm a little bit tired so I tried using the analog audio jack on the Switch to record audio instead, which actually worked perfectly*!

*Except the dock introduces a great amount of interference. 😂

Hey folks, I have an interesting config, and I hope to get some help here from folks for how I can get all my audio routed correctly for game capture.
Here's my setup:

  • 4K60 MK2 Capture Card
  • Xbox One X
  • Arctis 7 headphones (+mic)

Here's what I'd like to do:

  • Start a Party Chat on the PC (audio quality is SOOO much better than on the Xbox)
  • Capture Game / Game audio
  • Capture Chat audio (I can sync it later)
  • Capture my headset audio as well.

I downloaded the Wave 3 software and it doesn't seem to be working like all of the YouTube tutorials I've watched. It always says to connect my mic even after I follow the exact steps of install. If I restart my PC and then open the app it launches but doesn't have any recognized devices like the videos show. The first box is suppose to be Wave 3 and it is blank. I've tried multiple re-installs. Does anyone have any advice?

Everytime i start a game is have to go to the windows sound settings an set the game sound (out) to a random sound channel and back to wave link game again so its working like it should be. Hi ! I own the Cam link 4K but I am having stability issues with Streamlab OBS. I try to have excellent stability for my work. I can pay more for it. Hey all. I have a streamdeck and my hotkeys arent working when im in game! I have them set up to save replays on obs and the hotkeys are correct ( i have the same problem with discord as i have a toggle deafen hotkey) and im running the stream deck as administrator. The hotkeys work fine when i dont have a game loaded up but they dont work at all otherwise. I have a one PC setup which is where i think some of the issue comes from but I would really like a fix for this as soon as possible because I love the software. The reddit threads have been no help as they just tell me to do what ive been doing! hopefully i can find the answer here and its something that can be fixed!

It says that the application is already running, but I can't see it and I cannot close the application unless I force quit the application through my Mac's settings
I've already restarted my Mac and uninstalled/reinstalled the application a couple times.

Hi all! I just switched from the sony software to a CamLink4k for my A7iii. It looks fantastic in 4k, but I dont need my resolution that high as I am streaming to Twitch. It also punches in at 4k. theres a problem im running into so i stream gameplay from my switch and wii, i have a wii2hdmi adapter that worked completely fine with my HD60 but now its having issues with my hd60 s+ when i connect my hd60 plus to my wii after i remove it from my switch it comes up but everything gets messed up because the wii isn't 1080p like the switch, i didnt have this issue with my hd60 because the hd60 had the option for this

I've been continuing to encounter an issue where the Elgato 4K 60 S+ pass through no longer broadcast in 4K or 60 Hz and instead reverts to 1080p and 30 Hz. I had it working for some time previously, then got hit with a series of rolling blackouts. Ever since then the issue has returned. Does anyone know how I fix this?

Having issues with 4k60mk2. Intermittent random stuttering in recording/streaming/preview window on dedicated streaming pc. Results in same issue regardless of plugged into pcie3x4 going through pch or straight to cpu. No m.2 drive stealing bandwidth. Have tried disabling/enabling hardware acceleration in OBS, disabling/enabling buffer. Changing x264 encode speed makes no difference. Setting to use nvenc makes no difference. Playing using monitor mirroring / hdmi passthrough makes no difference other than limiting me to 60fps at 4k when in passthrough. Monitor is set to 4k 120 otherwise. Streaming setup is 9900k@5.1/z390 aorus xtreme/2080ti/32gb 3200 and gaming setup is 10900k@5.2/z490 unify/3090/32gb 3600. CPU usage, even on x264 slow for troubleshooting purposes, never gets above 30% and obs never reports any dropped frames. Attempting to stream 720p 6000kbps. I'm a few moments away from chucking this card like a frisbee as I've been troubleshooting this for weeks with no response so far from elgato. Someone please save me.

Hi, I've stumbled upon a problem with my brand new HD60 s and hope someone here maybe can help me. I set it up with my Xbox series X and my laptop. did 4 streams, everything worked great. But when I wanted to do my 5th stream, it stuck on "detecting signal" and it has been like that ever since. Now I've tried looking in settings at permissions, I've tried disabling/reenabling the HD60 s in edvice manager, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but no luck. Does anyone here know of anything I could try to get this up and running again?

I purchased the stream deck mobile app subscription but no matter what I can do I cannot get it to link to my PC. I’m using an iPhone 12 and an iPad to try. It keeps doing the connection failed. It is hooked directly into the router, I have tried both the 2.4 and the 5G connection I have turned off my firewall, there’s no VPN, I’ve tried pretty much everything I can find online and I cannot get it to connect. The I’d go ahead and submit a ticket or warranty claim. Not much else I can suggest unfortunately. You might try uninstalling iCUE, rebooting, the downloading a fresh iCUE installer and install iCUE, the reboot, and then see if the other buttons start working.

@real tangle I understand that trying to get your mouse to work can be super frustrating, but please do not bring up stuff that's happened in other servers into this one. This is not the place for that.

If you have gotten it within a year, its under manufacturer warranty which means you can submit a ticket/RMA request like previously suggested. I've gone through this process personally when I bought product through best buy and they were very helpful.

If that is something you are not interested in trying, then there is not much more than we can do. The ticket system is how you get official support staff which are not in either server.

I have this same problem. Started suddenly at the end of Janurary. I have even reformatted my disk and resintalled Windows and all my applications and games and still have this problem. I have a ticket open with Elgato. They think it might be a Proxy or a VPN but I'm not using either. You might see this in your Streamdeck logs:

I'd definitely open a ticket on your issue as well. I'm starting to think it may be a change in the YouTube API.

have anyone found a limit to how many actions it is possible to have inside a multi action? I have several stream decks with multi actions containing between 50 and 120 multi actions and i find the multi actions really unreliable. even with delays that are ridiculously long between each action some of them still won't fire. if i copy and paste the action that wont fire, to it's own button then it works just fine... on Elgatos website they state that you can add as many as you want... if that is not the case, then the whole purpose of investing in the stream decks are gone for me...

Hi friends. I have the Key Light Air. Having trouble getting it connected. I've tried using my desktop (has WiFi on-board), iPhone, and Laptop to connect this thing to my WiFi to no avail. Other devices are currently connected, and I can connect new ones (forget & re-add). The device comes up in Elgato Control Center, and I can connect to it, but it refuses to connect to my WiFi(Separated 2.4 GHz & 5 GHz). Can someone please help? I am getting DCOM Error (both 10010 and 10016). I googled and spent several hours last weekend trying to resolve the issue. Basically, my PC game just crashes and when I go into Event Viewer, this error comes up. Although my game is recording well, and my voice is clear, I'm having a problem with the HDMI audio. I've troubleshot everything I use, double, triple, quad checked all the settings three times in two days, and even tinkered with my USB that came with it.

My setup.

1: Elgato HD60S+
2: Alienware M17 Windows 10, 64 bit.
3: Xbox One X.
4: Astro A40 (2019 revision) with mixamp pro-TR.
5: LG 4K gaming monitor 144hz.

I looked at the system settings in my Xbox, and everything's doing fine, as of now.

@south bronze the hd60s+ can only fo 4K60FPS passthrough, so the capture card cant take the 144hz which most likely is taking up all the bandwidth, try making your monitors 60 hz and try again

Can someone please help, Elgato manages to work with OBS, even though it disconnects and reconnects very often, besides that, when i manage to make it work, i get lag like this...

@mortal seal is it just discord audio or other audio sources? Because i get audio distortion/stuttering off and on from most audio, however i believe it is only into my monitoring, not to the stream output.

i did put a ticket into elgato and they have moved it up the chain to higher teir support so we shall see

Hello. I am having issues with my keylight air's staying connected to wifi it seems. I have reset them as well as my router and after a day I am still having them randomly disconnect and not reconnect. They dissappear from StreamDeck and my iPhone and Windows Control Center apps until I physically turn them off and on again.

Hi Everyone. So I have an issue with my Elgato 4K60 Pro card when im playing CS:GO. When im trying to load the game from the desktop just before im about to go fullscreen in the lobby-screen everything just freezes and my pc just restarts. Sometimes I have to repeat this 4-5 times before I get into the game. And once I get into the game the game just feels flickering and even though it shows 300+ fps it feels choppy and unatural, not a pleasant experience at all. I have tried absolutely everything that could possibly be wrong. Even borrowed a HD60s from a friend and the problem still persists.
Im playing on a dual-pc setup and every other game im playing works fine, no issue at all.
I have the capture card in the streaming pc connected with a hdmi cable (hdmi 2.1-cable) from the HMDI-outport on the gaming-pc GPU. Cloned the screens in Nvidia-settings and straight into OBS on the streaming-pc.
All other games I play are, as far as I can tell right here and now, played on 1920x1080 res while I play csgo in 1280x960 res. Can this possibly be the problem?

I have had an issue like 4 times in the past week like midway through my stream my Elgato HD60S has some weird robotic noises like my gameplay sounds and my voice.

@warm umbra are they all on the same wireless network band ? (2.4 and 5ghz) ? - my printer does not work if i have it on the "combined" wireless "dual" band setup - just wondering, i've never had the keylights, good luck

Idk if anyone else has this issue or not and if I'm in the wrong place just let me know where to go. I tried streaming last night with my PS5, HD60 S+, OBS Studio, chat link cable, and the 3D Pulse Wireless headset. Everything worked fine except audio was also coming out of the ps5 controller. I turned down the controller volume all the way and it was still coming out through the controller as well as my headset and to my stream. Any idea how to prevent the audio from coming out of the ps5 controller speaker?

I've been having this issue when I stream. - - > I can hear my alerts for follows, etc. But my stream can't hear the alerts. I'm streaming through stream elements if that helps in any way and my alerts are made on stream elements too.

I have an Elgato 4kHD Pro installed Win10 and can't get any Preview out of it. (I DO get video from the device in MS Teams/Zoom.) Also no video in OBS. I have updated all firmware, software, plenty of reboots, tried every combination of settings in the 4K Capture utility, etc. I have tried a few different HDMI devices and cables attached to the capture card, with same results. I sent Corsair a support email a few days ago, with no reply yet. Any ideas/suggestions while i wait to hear back from them? The Support page on the Elgato website has been useless. Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone! Was hoping someone could point me in the right direction with this question. I stream from my Xbox One X, which goes into my HD60 Pro, then to my TV. I have a turtle beach wireless headset and the capture card isn’t picking up the mic on the wireless headset? This is the headset that is the only one that pairs with the Xbox.

@mild geyser The headset audio input is probably not being output to the TV via HDMI, so you're not going to be able to capture it unless you change your headset and make it an input into your OBS or capture on your PC, I say probably, because i'm just throwing out ideas
The Xbox voice chat is probably captured on the console and sent via it's network connection, hence why you've never heard yourself talking on the tv before right?

Hey - so when I play F1 2020 my stream gets all pixelated when there’s fast movement. I’m streaming on a single stream setup, would a duel PC setup fix this? Or would it still be pixelated anyways?

My current specs are: R5 3600, 16gb ram, 3060ti.

Let me know if there’s any alternative solutions in addition to a duel PC setup.

@barren storm is it pixelated on your software or on your website your streaming too? it could be a compression issue

im using an hd60s to capture my switch, does the second monitor my card is plugged into have to be connected to my pc? im using a tv from behind me and i dont want to get a second 10 foot hdmi cable

Hey, my friend installed her elgato hd60 s but can't hear any audio from her switch on her pc. I've reinstalled, asked her to try different ports, unplugging and plugging again and fixing audio settings as well, nothing coming from game capture or OBS, any help?
