I use Epoccam on my phone (iPhone 6S) and it connects to my computer over wifi, however half the time i want to use it i have to disconnect both my phone AND computer from the internet and reconnect both to get it working, not good when using the internet on said computer to stream/video call

Ok, so it's just HDMI from the PS4 Pro into HD60 Pro and then HDMI out to the TV. Sounds normal enough. Then I wouldn't expect the GoXLR to be in the mix here.

If you're used to hearing the audio from your HD60 Pro, you probably just need to go into Advanced Audio Properties and then use the monitor functionality to have Streamlabs OBS send audio from the HD60 Pro to your audio device of choice.

Our Game Capture HD and 4K Capture Utility software automatically playback the audio on your speakers or headphones. This needs to be specifically setup in OBS Studio and Streamlabs OBS.

Yea. So whats happening is that to a PC/Mac, the capture card looks like an HDMI Monitor.

So you'll either want to go into Windows Display Settings and duplicate your main display to this new 'ghost' monitor which is actually the Elgato device.

Or connect the monitor to the HDMI OUT of the capture card and use it in a passthrough configuration. In this configuration, the capture card is intercepting the video feed and sending a copy out to your monitor.

HD60 S+ and many of our devices support up to 60hz. You can imagine them as 1080p 60hz or sometimes 4K 60hz monitors internally. That's how your computer sees them. As a result if you duplicate your main monitor to the capture card, Windows will default to sending a 60hz signal to both. Since that's what it thinks is best.

In many cases, you can just go into your Nvidia control panel and manually try setting the refreshrate back up to 120, 144hz, or in your case, 165hz. Very often Windows10 will accept it and send two different signals out to your monitor and capture card.

I'm saying.... it cannnn work. Though a recent Windows 10 update called the 2004 update does help with this setup a bit. Windows traditionally since many years ago tries to keep all the displays similar in refreshrate. And even would update all monitors at the lowest refreshrate.

2004 changes this so they all update at the highest. This makes cloning/duplicating with capture cards much better.

With all that said, if you're using just one PC and wanting to do PC capture, a capture card doesn't really bring much benefit in terms of performance.. Since the PC is doing all the work anyways. Dual PC is advised since you can move all of the processing of the recording and stream to a dedicated system.

We don't currently offer a mac compatible capture card which can send 4K 60fps to the computer. Also we always 100% recommend playing on a TV/Monitor using the HDMI passthrough port.

If your short on budget I recommend building one if you can. Cases are cheap and you can find low cost parts and upgrade when you get funds. If you live in the barracks I would recommend a laptop that you can lock up.

Which PC to get is a complicated answer. But if you have a tight budget, maybe look at refurbished PCs. That's usually where I point people to if they're not someone who usually builds their own system and can't buy something brand new.

You can get some great value on computers from 2015-2017 which were old office computer stock. Amazon Renewed has a pretty good directory of options to look at.

But for best value I usually direct to desktops vs laptops. Laptops have power budgets and where you'll find lower power processors which don't hold up as well under longer periods of video recording.

You are looking for an i5 that has 4 or more cores or Ryzen 5 pcu. All of those builds will have at least 1 usb 3.0 (it's blue). For gaming you want at least an RTX 1050. For a used build you can get that for about 300 or less

If they try to sell you a refurbished dell in a compact case run away!!!! They don't have any USB 3.0 ports and are corporate refurb specials.

3.) Right click on it, and uninstall the device.

That is at least good news! you can try to change the audio track speed to 99.7% or just run it at 30 fps. Basically your processor has trouble encoding at that pace which is common. Try to run it at that speed and tweek if necessary

We have started to have issues with our Cam Link 4K. See images in post above ^

Things we have tried but have had no success:

HDMI cable(s)
USB Ports
Elgato Capture Utility, OBS

Having no issues with another capture card with this same camera and hdmi used while taking the pictures.

If anyone has had similar issues and/or could give us some help, much appreciated

so playing around in the 4k capture utility software,

by setting the EDID mode to internal and 1440p, I can passthrough 1440p144, howeer, it comes up as a black screen in the 4k capture utility, and doesn't display in OBS.

If I use the merged EDID mode, it displays in OBS in 1080p, but only allows my monitor to be 1080p as well

question: so i have my HD60 S+ set up to record from my nintendo switch, but when i hit record, i receive an error message stating that my nvidia geforce might be being used by other software, and as such i can't record. I saw an older video saying that something was going wrong with a different version of nvidia, but i dont think this is related.

Hey there, got problem with camlink, sometimes camera in obs just blackscreening for the second and than going back to normal (few days before everything was normal)
upd. sony a6400
in 4k capture i got the same, no signal for 1 second than backing to normal (every 30 seconds +-)

So I have this issue (on going for moths now) where my audio will de-sync in obs from the capture card (HD60 Pro) over time while streaming.. the elgato team have never been able to help me other than offering to take a look at the device themselves.. however upon digging deeper in to things I have discovered that windows does not recognize my HD60 Pro in device manager anywhere... any clues? because I think this is the issue

guys what can my friend do? specs( PS5; Elgato HD60S+; GTX 1060 and 8 core processor (its my friend pc he doesnt know the processor); When i stream at 1080p my stream is lagging a bit? is my pc too bad or can i change settings at the elgato software / obs. I’m having this issue where my Key Light Air keeps disappearing from all of the apps, with them saying that it it’s not connected (when I connect to same internet). Sometimes it’s overnight, other times it’s within 30 minutes or less. I end up having to reset it EVERY time. What exactly keeps going on?

I have a Wave 3 mic and I am trying to set it up for Twitch through the Wave Link program, and I am having some trouble setting it up, I looked at a few guides and videos from Harris Heller and I am still very confused. I could not set it up through OBS corrects and now I do not know what to do. Ive been sitting for 2 hours trying to set it up. If anyone can help me I would be grateful. Thank you so much (generally more help on navigating the program, I dont think I know what Im doing)

So where it says monitor mix, you'll want to change that to whatever your headset is.

You need to add channels to your wave link such as game, system, browser. Then open your windows settings and make sure your default is set to wave link for your output and mic in wave for your input.

You can open up your windows settings by using the 3 lines next to the cog at the upper right.

I have a question to ask, so my wave 3 mic is amazing, I love everything about it, but with every mic I've used in my life, they would always pick up my smoke detector that makes a beep every couple of minutes, any mic I have would pick it up, so I was wondering, do you think buying headphones and plugging it to the wave 3 would help remove that smoke detector beep?

I heard that if you put headsets/headphones into the switch while you're recording on the elgato, it won't hear any audio or something like that. what If I plug the HD60 S into the switch and pc for recording, then I use my wave 3 with a headset connected to the wave 3, would it work normally If I did that

@lilac dagger you don't have to but that's kind of the whole point of buying one. The software helps you control what you hear in your headset and what your stream hears from individual sources. Are you not streaming?

@inner spruce I've never heard that and I don't see why headphones would have any effect on what your mic pics up. You can try and adjust the gain and see if that helps. Or recently what I've done is run my mic through NVIDIA broadcast and used their nose suppression to block out background noise.

Hey Elgato Community,

I have a huge problem and hope for for your support. :(

I just got my Elgato HD 60S+ and want to capture my PS5 on my Mac with the Elgato Game Capture Software.

In the preview I can see the Gameplay.
But when I record, I get six different data pieces afterwards with the video/MP4 being over 5 hours long, but I only recorded a minute or so. And it is completely black without the game or sound.

What can I do?

Hi everyone! I've got two issues with my Wave Link software combined with my Wave 3 microphone:

Since a week, each time i boot up the computer all the audio categories are gone from the software and i have to re-add each one manually
With some games, even though i had them set, i couldn't hear audio until i switched them to another profile and switched them back another time. It used to happen only on Final Fantasy XIV but now i'm experiencing this also with Genshin Impact.

on the gaming machine there should be a sound option to send to the elgato think it should be under playback devices. Are you using elgato sound capture on the gaming pc to split the source?

Hey, for Christmas I’ve got a HD60s+ and have been setting it up. Everything is going smoothly I tried it with a few games and it’s been perfectly fine. But the very second I tried it with rocket league (my main game and pretty much the reason I was looking for a capture card) something went wrong, there’s no delay between my laptop and tv but when try to play the game my controller just isn’t doing what it should be, it’s very subtle but with a mechanical game like rocket league it’s highly noticeable. It’s not delay. I just have no clue but something is throwing me off. The second I turn off the capture card the game plays perfectly and as I would expect.

To update, what’s throwing me off is when I turn it turns for too long, it’s extremely subtle but enough to ruin everything

hey guys, i am using an elgato hd 60+ to stream on twitch using streamlabs at the moment. currently i am playing wild rift on my samsung note 10+ and while i have enabled the 60-fps-mode ingame everytime i stream the fps fall to 23, 24 ... when I'm not using the capture card the fps is fine on a solid 60 ... what might be the reason for this and how may i solve it?

I am sorting through tons of individual photos that have been backed up with no organization over the years and want to make a command on the Stream Deck so that it saves whatever photo I am looking at in the Photos app to a specific folder so that I can go through those photos and organize them at a later point in an effort to filter out things like screenshots and useless photos first. Can something like that be done with the deck?

Never mind, got it to work with multi action using control + s hotkey to prompt save, a delay and then enter to save to the last (current working) directory.

Yeah there might be, have you looked into software that allows you to run Windows apps on your mac? worst case have you tried looking into installing Bootcamp?

If I understand this right you want to make a output of Display port from the 4K60pro? That wouldn't work unless you could find a Display port 1.4 to HDMI 2.0 that would work with the Elgato. I'm going to assume like the other person that you have a 1440p ultra wide and not a 1080p one
You wouldn't be able to record the full 120hz and I don't believe it'd even output the full 120hz as HDMI 2.0 doesn't support it. You could drop the resolution to 1080p ultra wide (2560 x 1080 I believe thats the resolution) and it should record the full 120hz. As for your second question it will work completely normally if you just play your monitor into the GPU as it has nothing to with the 4K60pro. Its kinda like my Xbox SX I can't do 120hz 4K unless its plugged directly into my TV I only can do 4K 60hz while plugged into my 4K60pro

Side note for anyone with a PS5 having issues recording 4.2.2 HDR you can do so by just setting the input EDID mode to Display at least this has fixed the issue for me. Make sure that you've updated all the firmware and software by holding "Control" and clicking the gear in 4K Capture Utility

If you can get Windows to think that the Capture card is another monitor you should be able to just clone your ultra wide in windows to the "second monitor" then capture it and have no issues

Sadly yeah, but there is the small chance windows will allow for different refresh rates. Worst case if you really want the 120hz just drop down to 1080p while recording

Sorry to @ you again but I just tested something, I remembered my monitors are different refresh rates. So I tested my theory if I set my Main display to 1440p 120hz and then told windows to duplicate the displays it would force the top one to 1080p but stayed at 120hz. So in theory now you should be able to keep the 120hz on your display and record at 100hz

I personally don't own a HD60S+ but I knew it had the HDR passthrough which I though would mean it had Tone Mapping. So I'm sorry about wasting your time with that.
My only real suggestion is to mess with the color setting under the picture tab it looks like maybe a contrast down and that should make it look more like the second picture. Hopefully someone will come along who owns a HD60S+

Apple Silicon/M1 works with Cam Link and HD60 S+. We've tested it with OBS Studio. But our own software is not yet supported on M1. So third party software is needed.

This can work. However USB-C to USB-C support seems to heavily depend on the computer itself. For instance, my Macbook pro has no problems using a USBC to USBC 3.1 cable to an HD60 S or HD60 S+, but my Windows Ryzen desktop with native USB C does not work all the time and some cables work and then some don't.

So your mileage may vary. I might suggest trying a USB C to 3.0 hub of some kind if the C to C cable does not work. Normally we don't suggest a hub, but I've used a Monoprice hub like this with good success: https://www.amazon.com/Monoprice-USB-C-4-Port-USB-Adapter/dp/B07H4985XV/

Hardware Tonemapping is enabled automatically if 4KCU is closed. Forcing that option means that essentially HDR recording is disabled as the device will always send HDR-to-SDR Tonemapped video to the PC.

It's defaulted to off and hidden so that people can record HDR, and then also stream normally in SDR. Works for vast majority of users.

Jazzy had DM'd me and I sent him some ideas. Though they may have covered it already. My assumption is it's a color range problem rather than tonemapping not working.

HD60 S does not use an onboard encoder. So your laptop will be using its CPU or GPU to handle encoding processing. If you post specs of the laptop we could maybe find out how it would do.

Hi, everyone! I recently got my 4k60Pro Mk2, and i have a question -> Is there a way to capture 60fps signal instead of 240fps from my 240hz monitor? I have cloned the displays and set 60hz via windows or nvidia control panel to elgato, but whenever i enter the game, it goes back to 240fps again..., i want to receive 60fps on my streaming PC because it lowers the impact on cpu, and gives some headroom for my x264 encoding.

Because there shouldn't be any difference. That data is going into the system but that doesn't mean the CPU is working with it.

Running a test in OBS from my PS4 Pro. 4K60 results in the same exact CPU load on idle as 1080p60. This is just video being brought into the computer and then displayed in OBS. 4K60 to 1080p60 is similar in terms of bandwidth and data transferred as 1080p60 to 1080p240.

OBS was running at 0.3% for each test.

When editing I'm noticing some crackling every 2-3 minutes.
Added some audio of when it happens.
It's not terrible but it would be amazing if I could get it fixed 😅

There was nothing that could've caused the spikes. The mic was about 30-40cm (12-16inches) away from my face. On the opposite side of where my mouse is.
The mic input was set to 3 dots so I might have to increase that 👍
I was recording on a macbook through Quicktime and Wave Link was opened.

Ah, then I recommend turning on the low cut filter or bringing it closer to you. I have mine about 3-6 inches away which is what the mic was designed for. If you want to have it that far I recommend turning up your gain and turning on the low cut filter so your mic doesn't pick up static sounds. Try that and if it still gives you trouble let us know 🙂

I think the problem is that screens are usually input only except for the audio. Is there something connected to the screen you are trying to capture like another computer or counsel?

Is there a way to mute only in game chat? Sometimes I play with a group and they use too much profanity. I've seen streamers before on Apex where I can't hear who they're talking to but I can still hear game sounds.

not very knowledgeable on elgato software but I'm assuming most of those streamers just mute them in game. I don't believe you can specifically filter one part of the game audio out.

Also my own question. I have my elgato hd60 set up with a laptop and my desktop recording my desktop, yet for some reason it only picks up my desktop (game) audio but no matter what I do will not pick up my microphone

OBS is infinitely better. I've been using it now for a few tests. Only problem is it still seems to need a PC with a really good graphics driver or just good specs (not great with computers) for 4k. But yeah, try OBS. Just look up OBS capture card on YouTube

You can get an HDMI splitter if it doesn't have a passthrough but I think most of the capture cards do, not sure on the USB ones. But either way I think they assume you'll play via your PC screen then.

i just had a pretty weird bug occur... so the streamdeck doesnt work with any other device plugged in except my mouse. it either just turns completely white, or gets in a kindof "bootloop" where it registers and unregisters with windows repeatedly, almost like plugging it in and out really quick. even just a usb hub breaks it. worked fine 11 hours ago when i went to bed, but now its just broken. im not sure if its an issue with the streamdeck or the usb hub, because anything i plug into the hub works fine, and the stream deck works fine if plugged in alone

tldr; i can use either the stream deck or any amount of other USB devices

Hi, I'm new to the server. Having some audio issues. Not sure if I came to the right place.

Looking for any tips that might help me eliminate cracking and lagging sounds. I play on PS4, stream with streamlabs and Elgato HD 60 S and I have to use the chatlink for audio to be captured. The issue started last week after installing the Cold War trial but I have issues on every game now. It keeps getting worse.

Any of the A-series AMD APUs aren't great. Would not recommend it.

Those A-Series chips also were generally dual core based on today's definition.

This on Windows10?

Try moving it to different USB 3.0 ports. If it still continues open 4K Capture Utiliy, hold CTRL and click on preferences. Go to Device tab then change USB Transfer Mode to isochronous. Hit apply and close 4K Capture Utility.

No, your PC does all the encoding still. Streaming will always take a chunk of resources. Unfortunately, the answer is to upgrade your hardware.
Elgato has capture cards with encoders but looks like those are PCI express slotted which means you'd need a desktop anyway

The encoders are not leveraged for streaming. So having an encoder does not benefit streaming and can in some cases use more processing power for streaming since it needs to decode the video feed first from the card and then re-encode..

That's a good system but unless you have a second computer to do all your streaming, a capture card will not help here.

That said, your system should do good. I don't know how you're getting such low FPS. 1650 is a good GPU. Be sure you're using the GPU to encode. 9300H might be throttling and slowing down if doing CPU encoding.

I have an older XPS 15 with a 7700HQ with 1050 and could stream on it. Maybe not GTA5, but CSGO ran just fine with the right tuned settings.

NVENC is indeed a dedicated section of the GPU die used for encoding. It essentially has no game impact but statistically it's there, just very small. Maybe 1% hit.

If you're noticing a big change when streaming, something else is happening with your streaming settings.

We don't suggest updating the firmware unless you're having an issue that we know is fixed by firmware. Which is rather a niche type of fix.

But sometimes the USB port/controller can have an impact on firmware updating. But if the card is working fine, besides the freezing, don't just try the firmware update just for the heck of it. If it continues, please email our team so we can collect more information. http://e.lga.to/help

Hi did anyone else fixed this issue where their Elgato's audio is insanely stuttery and distorted? I tried my best to weed out every single problem from getting rid of all of my headset splitters and have an aux cable directly plugged into the controller then I tried doing it but with the audio coming from HDMI. The issue still happens on Elgato's 4k Capture Software and OBS too.

I also tested the Aux cable on it's on to see if that was the issue and the Aux cable is fine. The only thing that seemed to changed this problem is using a different USB port. Instead of the game audio being insanely distorted like in the video I listed below it has a higher tone of pitch now but it's still stuttery. I also made sure all of my playback devices and recording devices were 48000hz too.

I'm having troubles with my capture card, it was working fine earlier but after I tried deactivating and reactivating it, all it shows is a blank black screen, and no audio comes out of it. However, the display is still showing up perfectly on the TV, any Idea why this is happening?

I had the same issue not to long ago similar issue this morning where my game audio coming from the Elgato was a higher pitch then usual. I fixed this though by unplugging all of the cables to my Elgato and it seems to reset itself (I have a HD60S+ and it lighted up white led lights when I unplugged all of the cables).

Either of the HDMI cables should be going to your Computer

#

One should be coming from your switch and going into the input port of the Elgato then the output goes to your monitor and the USB cable goes to your PC in a USB 3.0 port (normally colored blue)

hey, I just bought a HD60 S, and when connecting my Switch to my PC with it via the game capture software, when the volume on either my PC or the software is above approx. 20 the audio starts crackling. I've found that if I change any enhancement settings on my main audio output device (my headphones) the crackling stops for 10-15s, I have confirmed it is not the headphones though as my friends can hear the crackling also if I stream the capture software over Discord.

Hello everyone and Happy New Year!

I recently started using the Sony a5100 as a cam in stream via the Elgato Camlink 4K. Since then I have the problem that the software of my capture card "Recentral" from Avermedia no longer gets enough FPS pure. The FPS reduce from 60 down to 20-30 FPS. The capture card I use to transfer my gaming computer and has nothing to do with the camera or the Camlink.

I turned on the task manager during the FPS drops, but CPU is running at an easy 40%, GPU as well and memory is at 50%.

The problem always occurs when I start OBS Studio and resolves when I remove the camlink - whether the camera is on or not.

Does anyone have any idea what this is about and can help me?

Do you guys send your elgato clips to a SSD or a Hard Drive? One of my clips I noticed how it blinks out alot like a black screen would appear just for a second and it would happen fairly often then some frames would be skipped. I'm suspecting it's a hardware issue and my hard drive can't keep up.

@peak harness just know that if you bring the mic in on a separate line from the stream line that you'll lose the ability to adjust the volume in obs from wavelink.

You were right, Avermedia's capture software was not installed on any SSD drive. I have now tried this with all SSD disks in the computer, but the FPS drops still persist.

For some reason I cannot get WaveLink to launch automatically with my computer. I have even tried putting a shortcut to the executable into the Windows Startup folder. The option open at login is checked and yet I always have to manually open it. Also, is there a way to make it so it doesnt ask for admin permission every time it opens?

I have an audio issue and I cant think of a good solution right now. I have the arctis pro wireless headset plugged into my PS5 via USB and the PS5 outputting audio vis USB which is working fine. However, because it can not output audio to both the USB and HDMI at the same time, OBS is not picking up any sound from the PS5 through the HD60S+ since Im not outputting through hdmi. Anybody have a solution to this?

Issue with 4k60pro mk.2 have already contacted support and waiting for reply, thought I’d jump in here and see if anyone else had an issue or a fix?

When slotted in a PCIe x4 compatible slot - device is not recognized in the BIOS. Recognizes that something is slotted but in BIOS board explorer shows “unknown vendor/hardware running x4” also 4k utility shows no device connected.

MOBO is MSI MEG x570 Unify running 7C35vA7 BIOS

Windows is version 19042

All other products are properly recognized.

Tried PCIe slots 3 and 5 and tried running PCIe slot 3 as 3.0 and 2.0 with no success.

4k capture utility is up to date, as well as most recent drivers. Tried re-seating, and re-installing drivers etc.

Is it a dud or is it hardware incompatible?

Yeah I’m hoping it’s the capture card itself and not have to switch out the MOBO. It’s a high end MOBO that I chose specifically so I had expandability and I’m also running a 3950x in it until I get a 5950x as my gaming pc is complete with a 5900x 3080 combo.

PCIe slots definitely do work as I’ve tried other stuff in them and they connect fine. It’s just the capture card that shows in the e BIOS board explorer “unknown vendor/hardware” where as my USB connected products (stream deck) show Elgato and everything else gets recognized by vendor and product name

I do feel its a windows update though cause that motherboard wasn't out when your version of windows was out. So it could be a conflict another suggestion is to update the firmware but cause its not showing up in 4k capture utility (please they need a better name) you can't do that

Yeah hopefully Support gets back to me soon, never had any issues with elgato products up until now. Most of the time it’s just Plug and Play. I need to use the 4k60pro mk.2 specifically because I play at 1440p 144hz and need that pass through.

Tried with my old HD60 and Fullscreen windowed in Destiny 2 and cloning the displays still made it run in 1920x1080 so I definitely need the 4k60pro to achieve what I’m wanting to do without having to run in Windowed mode. Also was getting really choppy stream just doing the fullscreen projector and having the windows extended.

I'm continually having a problem where the Elgato software keeps freezing in place while recording videos & needs to catch up. It also stops the commentary audio from being recorded, requiring m to need to press the button for commentary on & off to reset it, which is incredibly annoying. It's like the software has a hard time writing the data of the videos to the computer's hard drive for no reason. What's worse is that, if I stop the recordings, the videos get cut off where it stopped writing the data, with no way to get back what wasn't recorded. I have no idea why this is & it's incredibly annoying.
I'm using a 2012 iMac updated to the latest OS, Big Sur.
The only other time I've had trouble like this was 3 years ago when a power out screwed the computer's hard drive up when I was using it to record videos & it wasn't plugged into a power strip with a surge protector, requiring me to need to take it in for a hard drive replacement. Currently it is plugged into a power strip with a surge protector &, while there's been some power outs, with some being when I'm recording videos, this shouldn't be happening. I'm gonna run a diagnostic on the thing when it finishes catching up in 100 years, but why is this happening?

Not long. I had it restart, not shut off completely. Before that, I think it was in rest mode. It took a little longer than it probably should've to restart, though.

That's why I think it may be a hard drive issue. The previous issues were because the power out caused a short (or some other electrical problem) in the other HDD that caused it to start to fail slowly over time, which caused problems like parts of videos not being recorded &/or commentary audios either not being saved to the video files, or being distorted.

You may have to shut your computer down overnight/ 4+ hours to make sure it’s not just the computer needing a break.

What’s your audio setup like, it sounds like you want PC audio and Console audio all going to your headset because the passthrough function isn’t software, it’s the ability for the capture card to be able to passthrough those refresh rates and resolutions through HDMI which weren’t supported until now @civic basin
You shouldn’t be playing the game through the 4k capture utility, which it sounds like you may be doing.

Update on my own issue with the Elgato 4k60pro mk.2 I think I’ve decided that it’s faulty hardware as it shows unknown vendor/multimedia device running x4 and that Device manager shows drivers are not installed - windows cannot find drivers for the device. Manually installing drivers don’t work. Windows is up to date, BIOS is up to date.

2 completely separate systems could not identify the hardware and could not install any drivers for the hardware. Via windows or manually.

Yeah tomorrow I’m gonna return to Best Buy and straight exchange for a new one and hopefully it’ll just plug and play. Literally I can’t figure out any fix if drivers are refusing to install and windows/MOBO can’t even identify the device at all or correctly

I was thinking of firmware updating but that also wouldn’t work as the 4k capture utility doesn’t even think a device is plugged in

hey, I just bought a HD60 S, and when connecting my Switch to my PC with it via the game capture software, when the volume on either my PC or the software is above approx. 20 the audio starts crackling. I've found that if I change any enhancement settings on my main audio output device (my headphones) the crackling stops for 10-15s, I have confirmed it is not the headphones though as my friends can hear the crackling also if I stream the capture software over Discord.

Looking for some assistance with the Elgato Key Lights. Went to live stream with them the other day while connected to my wifi and my stream/internet kept crashing for 20 second periods, would come back for maybe 15 seconds, and crash again. Once I turned the lights off completely, my connection was perfectly fine. Has anyone had this issue and resolved it?
