Wondering if anyone knows a fix. I'm trying to get epocam to work over wifi, It works using iphone cable but just not over wifi. I've checked all my firewall settings and everything as the website suggested but its still not finding my phone. Any suggestions?

Hi. I am interested in using my PC to stream the console output to avoid excessive wiring, playing to my monitor and having my PC act as a hub for everything. Is the elgato cards a great solution for this? Discord streaming/chat on the fly is a big bonus. I just want to make the experience as convenient as much as possible so I don't have to unplug and replug audio set ups and monitors everytime I switch between my PC and consoles. Does the gameview feature on the elgato cards work for this?

Hi everyone

I’m so tired of battling with elgato hd60s and all it’s shenanigans. I have an iPad Pro, a laptop with usb 3.0 ports, an elgato Hd 60s - the “dream team”.
Good hdmi cables, official Apple adapter from type c to hdmi....
And yet, when connected to obs, instead of an iPad screen, I see a black box of nothing. It doesn’t capture anything. It sees the video capture device, but doesn’t capture anything

I've got the Wave:3 and the wave link... Does anyone know about a problem where the audio link to a specific wave link channel tends to unlink from a channel?

For example, i link my games to the "Game" channel in Wave Link. I close the game, open it later and it's not link anymore. I've to relink it to the Game channel in Wave Link.

It happens a lot with the browsers too... Chrome and FireFox.

I have the 4k60 MK2 connected to my PS5; the PS5 can only send audio to the card or my headphones, not both. Is there a work around for this, as I intend to record commentary via mic too?

When you set up Wave Link, you can set it so that your headset will also be heard by you; creating this issue.

You can go to the channel where you have the microphone and mute the monitor mix.

@umbral root I would suggest a complete uninstall, then reinstall the streamdeck program.

I am trying to decide on whether to get the HD60S+ or the 4k60 Pro to stream my PS5. The reason I am concerned on which to get is I may want to use my laptop as the stream pc. It currently has a i7-7700HQ with a 1050 TI and 12gb. Just wondering if my laptop would be able to stream using OBS studio and capture my desktop, or if it would just be better if I were to just get the 4k60 Pro.

I'd almost recommend to wait a month or so. Release just happened so there are bound to be some hiccups that Elgato will fix; rather than the stress of issues, if you can, I'd wait :p

Is there some non normal trouble shooting I could do to get my switch working with the hd60s I just got? I'm getting it fed to my monitor without issue, and the HD game capture driver detects that there is a signal, but the instant game capture is just showing a black screen

Hello all! I recently purchased an Elgato Wave 3 and I LOVE the mic except for 1 thing....whenever I go into discord VC I have serious robot voice.....outside of changing my input to my stream mix (which means VC hearing my game sounds and music) I can get it to work every now and then, but it's never a sure thing. I have plugged it into every different kind of USB port and even hub on my PC with no results. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software and drivers to no avail. If anyone has experienced this issue I would appreciate any help or advice you can give! I'm beginning to think I just have a defective unit!

Hello all. I've been using an HD60 Pro to record gameplay for four years now and it's always worked phenomenally. Unfortunately, as of around September this year, it's started having an issue where it will start skipping game audio and visuals in random places, often for only milliseconds at a time (but still very noticeable). Microphone audio does not skip, and as a result this causes a discrepancy in time between the microphone audio and game audio/visuals. Sometimes the skips are accompanied by a very noticeable visual glitching effect, but sometimes it just skips a few frames of audio and visuals and continues like nothing happened.
While I do want to upgrade to a 4K60 Pro relatively soon, I don't have the money for it and thusly I'd like to continue using my HD60 Pro until then. However, I'm not sure how to fix this issue. I've ensured my HDMI connection is stable on both ends of the wire, and I've checked numerous times to ensure my drivers and applications are up to date. If anyone has knowledge on how to possibly solve this issue, it would be massively appreciated.

Everything is fine when I am playing without the stream going but as soon as I hit start stream in OBS it does the above. It only happens on the stream output and the main gaming monitor (for PS5) is not affected. I have tried several fixes from reseating the card, to replacing both (brand new already) HDMI cables with equal attributes.

My PC is Mid to High range and I have Fibre (1Gig) internet, so bandwidth is not an issue or PC ability.

I have also reset drivers, uninstalled OBS, and most other things google searches have presented me with. Im at my end with trying to figure this out and my last option is taking the card back and requesting a replacement that may take a few weeks to get (they test, confirm, replace). But thats the very last option I have, as I said it works fine until I start stream.

So my HD60 Pro has been skipping frames every now and then when I use its recording function. I used to have it export to my HDD, but I'm considering swapping it to my SSD to see if that would help. Any ideas? (Brief preface, I haven't had the issue until September of this year, which is the time I got my new PC. The HD60 Pro worked perfectly fine with my last PC, which had ONLY an HDD and wasn't even a high-end PC, but now that I'm using my gaming PC it's started dropping frames.)

Update: I set my capture device to export to my SSD and I have noticed no frame drops anymore. Not sure why it was an issue on my HDD if it worked fine on the HDD of my old computer, but nonetheless I'm glad I solved it. On a side note, video export was almost instant for the SSD - unsurprising, but I had to do a double take when I noticed the video not only took less than the former 5+ minutes to export, but that it took mere seconds.

I know that external plugins are not developed by Elgato itself, but this seemed like a good place to ask.

@nova epoch your hot key was. Likely used in terraria or at least reserved by the game somehow. Launching obs in admin mode may have also solved this issue.

Hey All, I could really use some help with trying to setup my Elgato HD60 S on my stream PC, I'm currently using a GTX1080 on my gaming PC I'm plugging into and I've followed numerous tuts online but nothing seems to help. I've connected the Elgato to the streaming PC using a USB 3.0 port so it's being picked up on the streaming PC however, I've only got a black screen on my game capture and the audio is doing what only I can describe is stuttering. I've tried unplugging cables from the Elgato multiple times and even using different USB ports but still the same issue. I'm using the other 2 ports on my GPU for Display port and I've tried to unplug everything which still game me the same issue as well as using a different HDMI cable. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME 😢

Hey everyone. I've become increasingly frustrated with my 4k60 pro mk.2 and the 4k Capture Utility when it comes to streaming my PS5, and I am wondering if there are known fixes/solutions to the problems I am encountering and would greatly appreciate any help before just jumping onto different hardware.

First, and most annoyingly, after streaming with the card and 4k software and shutting down my PS5, the only way I can properly get the 4k capture utility to get a signal again when I turn my PS5 back on is by completely rebooting my computer. If I don't, the software hangs on One Moment Please... for forever. I really shouldn't have to reboot for this to work.

The second is color reproduction. This isn't as annoying, and is probably some group of settings I need to play with, but if anyone has guidance of where to look it would be great. The signal from the PS5 is a 2160p HDR signal, and I have Enable HDR Capture turned on, but in the 4k Capture Utility, the colors are still "off" and I can't seemingly get it dialed in with the color adjustments available. Is there a setting somewhere on the PS5 that I need to enable? Switching the RGB range from automatic to Full? I'm just not sure.

Help with either of these would be great, but especially the first one.

thats not 100% correct. They can only change it when you have transcoding as an option. Otherwise it will be at source resolution.

So after a lot of trial and error, I finally got my audio working for my stream and headset with wave link, NVIDIA broadcast, and Streamlabs. This is for Warzone. I downloaded cold war yesterday and went to play zombies and I can hear everyone fine but my team cannot hear me. I've checked all my settings to make sure PTT is off and that my devices are listed correctly. I even went back to Warzone and everything still works fine there. Any suggestions?

Need a bit of advice from someone. Recently upgraded my pc and now I'm seeing increased GPU usage (as I'm not bottlenecking now) so I cannot use NVENC to really encode my stream and play at high refresh rate. I cannot use CPU encoding as it just doesn't keep up even at 60fps. Would a capture card help me in this situation to play at high refresh rates and stream my game in 60fps? Thanks

@ivory flume HD60 Pro supports up to 1080p 60fps SDR, so most barebones HDMI cables work. But.... your currently cables are fine unless they're malfunctioning.

Make sure Windows 10's Game Mode is on. Then run OBS in Admin mode.

There is an issue where OBS uses the GPU to composite the scene and layers. So when your GPU is fully utilized in a game, OBS can't get enough resources to render the scene smoothly.

OBS Studio can fix this by running in Admin mode. Windows 10, then in Game Mode, give it enough priority to provide good framerates for the recording.

Though not sure if Streamlabs OBS offers this.

@ivory flume I don't own a PS5 to confirm in the menu, but inside of the video options there may be a place for RGB/HDMI Color Range. you'll probably want this on "Limited" or "Partial".

If the stutter doesn't happen in the preview, but does in the file that means the issue is happening after the card. I'd probably turn off Psycho Visual Tuning as a start. I wouldn't bother with that when you're capturing at such a huge bitrate.

Good when you're bitrate limited for streaming.

I don't see anything specific in the log you linked in the description. I see some encoding overloaded. could be referring to what is seen in the video.

As a test you could also try just doing a test recording in 4K Capture Utility.

Based on the scene, maybe it's due to the grain causing a huge spike in bitrate overwhelming the encoder.

I wrote in via email and was told that they were unaware of the beta firmware. Do you know anything about it / am I able to get it from you if it does exist?

It sucks because if something happens, my reaction time is off by a few seconds and its only for my live commentary. @cunning latch I did some stress testing with CQP 25 having look ahead (b-frames 4) / Psycho Tuning off and with it on, playing exclusively with the OBS window to monitor for stutters.

The stutters were there with the settings on and off, and there was a lot of artifacting with them off. So I just opted to keep them on. So we do have some firmware in the works for other problems, but doesn't appear there is any 4K60 Pro MK.2 + PS5 known issues from what I'm able to find out from my team.

We're keeping a close eye on all the support requests coming in though in case something does popup. Some of the issues that do come up aren't PS5 specific, but just normal setup issues that need to be cleared up.

I am having audio difficulties with my streaming computer. I have an HD60s acting as my capture card going from my gaming pc to my streaming pc. I can get audio to work then it just shuts off and I can't get it to register again. This just started happening. everything was going fine till last thursday and stuff started happening. I have a 2019 MBP running Mojave, which is supported for epoccam according to Elgato. I installed the driver. I am connecting via wifi. A pop up notification on my Mac says "connected 640x480 30 fps via wifi iOS epoccam" and all that. But no app on my Mac detects the camera as a source. Zoom, Skype, FaceTime, nothing. not even photo booth.

Hello everyone! I purchased a Cam Link 4K and connected my new a6400 to it. I can see the video from the camera perfectly in 4K Capture Utility (windows), but when I select the camera in hangouts, zoom, or OBS, it doesn't respond (hangouts says "cam failed").

These items are all hours old and I am very new to this equipment, so I could really use some help.

@south bronze Yes. Usually depends on the settings you're capturing with but Standard, Partial, Limited is often a safe bet.

@twilit verge HD60 video/audio should be behind by perhaps 0.5-1.0 seconds. Multiple seconds is not normal. I'd try reinstalling Game Capture HD and moving the HD60 to another USB 3.0 port.

OBS is just blank? Only one app can use the Cam Link at a time, so perhaps 4K Capture Utility is still open in the background.

You may want to try uninstalling Game Capture HD on the mac and deleting the preferences files in ~/Library/Application Support and ~/Library/Caches

Then reinstalling 2.11.11

@pine yoke HD60 S+ works like a webcam on the PC, so it's highly compatible with many programs.

As a result, maybe another program is hooking it as a webcam. So be sure to check chat apps, video conferencing apps, even Shadowplay can cause this since it supports webcams.

@dusty haven Try going into Game Capture HD preferences, Advanced, then changing the encoder and decoder options. Next try updating your GPU drivers as this can play a role.

Not sure how people are still finding Game Capture HD's. It was discontinued nearly 3 years ago.

I'm sorry if this has been discussed before but i just installed my wave:3 and i'm running into this problem that as soon as wavelink is installed/runs i loose all sound in my headset, which is a Steelseries Artics Wireless pro, which runs through the transmitter. If i uninstall Wavelink i can still use the mic as input but i'd like to be able to turn on anticlip etc. I do no stream tho, i want to use the mic for chatting in discord or in game.

Ok, got everything finally working to send video across. Now when I try to get sound working, there's just a huge buzzing noise along with the console's audio. I've tried changing the cables and different consoles, but still the same issue.

For anyone that could help, I stream on stream labs playing on my PS4. I use a chat link to hear game chat and party chat audio into my stream. It was working perfectly fine before, now it doesn’t work. Whenever I connect my chat link to my controller you can’t hear any audio. But whenever I disconnect it, the audio works and it heard in the stream. I’ve messed around with setting in stream labs for the elgato, I’m not sure if I messed something up or what but if anyone could help that would be great.

I remember before, it was not able to also play on the input that you got on your PC/capture card due to (mainly) video delay. Is this something that has gotten better or is there still the couple seconds delay with for example an 4K60 Pro? I'd wish to play all my consoles while just popped op in my PC screen instead of having to monitor swap constantly

Hey so Ive had this problem for a while but the way I fixed this is just by uninstalling and reinstalling the Stream deck soft ware. But the keys icons are extremely brighter than what they should be and I dont know any other way to fix it. Any help is appreciated

@tough vigil it can, but I have had issues with "Streaming 4K". I get random No Signals from the feed when streaming my PS5 at 4K Resolution (Screenfit too 1080p). Im not sure how to get around that. Recording 4K has absolutely no problems

check the settings under the 4K tool for elgato, make sure the EDID (the bottom option?) or w.e it is is set to Default

Game Capture HD crashed on my PC this morning. When I tried to open the software again, the message "The software is already running" came up. At the moment when the software crashed, my monitor got no signal from the pass through of the capture card. So I restarted my computer and from the moment the BIOS screen was visible on my computer, I received an image signal from the PlayStation via the capture card on my second monitor. Has anyone ever had the problem? I usually know that the PC no longer receives a signal from the capture card in Game Capture HD in the event of a crash, but I don't know that the monitor, which is directly connected to the capture card via HDMI, is no longer no longer receives a signal.

I asked here because I did not read about this problem anywhere while researching the internet. Apparently this problem is not known. All the others just had the problem that no image could be seen in the software. For me, however, the image on the monitor was completely gone - as if no console was connected. After a restart everything seems to work so far.

hey, i had a problem with hd60s+ that passthrough didnt work for my monitor - it displayed text "not optimal mode 1920 x 1080 60Hz". But OBS captured that signal anyway so looking through that i went to advanced display settings then -> display adapter properties -> list all modes and picked 1920 x 1080 mode. Now my OBS cant detect my HD60s+ anymore. How can i fix that. The thing is i cant change back those settings as well anymore coz when i plug in hd60s my laptops screen goes black

Hello, I just installed a 4K60 Pro into my PC. It's my first time using a capture card. I don't seem to be able to have audio inside OBS. The audio indicators/gauge show movement but nothing in my headphones. I spent an entire afternoon and evening looking at solutions online and on YouTube and nothing helped fix this issue I'm facing. The Elgato device also seems to have taken over as the permanent default windows audio device instead of my U-Phoria UMC404HD usb audio device. No way of changing that back. I'm so confused right now 😢

There is also a plugin for Streamlabs as well. You just need to install the plugin for Stream Deck to interact with that service.

Re: Epoccam. I'm using the free version and like the functionality, but I need to make sure of something before I buy pro. The promotional images clearly show that it uses the depth feature as the girl's background is blurred. But everything I've read says that 3rd party apps cannot use iPhone's depth feature. I'm capturing a Nintendo Switch. I can see the video in the scene, but no sound. I've just found a setting when I select the Elgato's Advanced Audio Properties in OBS. I changed from "Monitor Off" to "Monitor and Output" and I am now getting some sound. Not sure if that would create echoing while broadcasting though.

Guys, can I just get a quick answer. Im using the 4k60pro on a two PC set up. Base canvas resolution is 1440 on my gaming PC - obviously I can't choose 1440 as a resolution for the 4k60pro on OBS. Assuming I choose the resolution that will be streamed (720) for the 4k60pro as an alternative? Or do I choose 1080?

Not sure I understand the setup. You're using OBS on your gaming system?

In general you want the canvas resolution to be that of your main content. If you're playing a game at 1440p, canvas at 1440p makes sense.

Then you change the output scaling for what you're looking to do. So 1440p canvas, Output (Scaled) Resolution to 1080p for 1080p streaming. You can refine this by using Rescale output on the Output settings page but this is not advised since it's slower.

If you're streaming 720p, set the Output (Scaled) Resolution to 1280x720

i have been stupid. nothing was wrong with my settings. i just did not fuilly inplug the elgato chat link cable in the elgato aquila8Fail

but now you talk to me i have another question that i have been asking for 2 weeks.

before i streamed i used my PS4 just on a TV and the sound worked fine.
then i bought a elgato and for a tech/setting noob as me it was hard work to get the sound on stream and everything.

But now we have PS5 i want to switch over to PS5 streaming.

how can i set my PS4 back without deleting everything and set it back to factory settings. so i can stil enjoy my PS4 casual on my TV

Hello i have two questions, im using the 4K Pro MK.2
first: the audio form the 4K capture utility gets delayed over time, its a continuous process so the longer the programm is open, the worse it gets
and second:high contrast colors like red on a dark blue or green have very fray/pixelated edges

anything known?

its not the HDMI cable (no pixelation without the Elgato), also as online suggested way of reducing the color spectrum on the device and the elgato software (wich has nothing to do with it) only makes the preview even more pixelated
ive also ordered and tested everything i could find (HD60S/S+/Pro/4K S+/4K Pro/ 4K Pro Mk.2) and its the same issue all across the board, so maybe im missing something here or its a general Elgato problem, if there is no fix for this problem im going to return it cause i have no use for it if it stays this way

I'm having issues sending Macros in games with Streamdeck. I'm trying to set up a Streamdeck profile for FTL and the hotkey to de-power systems uses "Shift"+'KEY' (IE, Shift+S to depower shield), however, when I trigger this key combo with the stream deck, FTL is only reading the "KEY" not "Shift +Key." Hey so basically I've exhausted all my resources. For my dual pc setup I'm not getting game sound through elgato hd60 s+ to my stream pc. I tried using voicemeeter banana and couldn't get game sound that way. Than I used a 3.5mm to connect line out from game pc to line in on stream pc and got game sound but also loud white noise as well. I don't even know what to do anymore

What is the cheapest wired mouse Its not gonna be used for gaming or anything, but just to help configure my wireless mouse in the Logitech GHUB Software. Anyone know of any solutions for mitigating camera picture degradation when shrinking your camera down in OBS? Currently using a cam link 4K with a Sony a6400 (defaults 1080/60), but recently reduced my stream resolution to 720/60. Noticed that shortly after when shrinking the camera down, it created some odd quality on some textures. Obviously this isn’t the case when the camera image takes up the entire scene. Would reducing my camera settings to 720 be a possible solution? Can’t be the only one who has dealt with this previously related to the cam link

Hdcp and HDMI link are turned off on my ps4 so that’s not the issue, they’re plugged in accordingly, ps4 to input, output to my monitor, and USB-C 3.0 to my 3.0 slot on my motherboard, USB 3.0 drivers are the latest from my MB manufacturers, I’ve uninstalled obs and all Elgato software entirely including the drivers but the Hd60s will not work,

I've now gotten the capture software to stop crashing when the elgato is plugged in, it recognizes it now, but says it needs usb3.0 in order to function, but i've tried the usb 3.0 ports on the front, back and the usb 3.0 pci card i have installed, but it still says i need a 3.0 usb connection, i know the cable is 3.0 because of the blue, and same with the ports, but still not sure what the problem is, the drivers all work correctly when i plug in my usb 3.0 drive, it says its connected in 3.0, same with my windows mixed reality headset, but the elgato says "This device can perform much faster on usb 3.0"

I have an HD60s+ question peepoHey

I recently purchased this capture card so I could stream PS5 and still have it in 4K resolution. Everything appears fine, however the audio through HDMI is heavily distorted.

I've tested the card with my Nintendo Switch as well as PS4, and the distortion remains. My old HD60s works fine, just the 60s+ has audio trouble.

I've tried most everything I could think of, nothing really online regarding this issue. Any advice is greatly appreciated OH_Heart

USBDeviceTreeViewer shows that it is connected to USB 3.0 but is only running at High speed and not Super-Speed, is that an issue? I'm sure the cable im using is 3.0, and so is the slot im plugging it into, im just not sure why its detecting it as such

Soo, I kind of have an odd question, but I hope someone will be able to help me. I have the Elgato Game Capture HD (JUST HD, not even an HD60 or any newer ones.) I've owned this device for a while, never really used it because I lost it not long after getting it. I just recently found it, and I was excited to possibly try it out and use it. After logging on to the software download page though, I see the earliest software version only supports HD60. I knew it wouldn't work, but I downloaded it and tried it anyway, then came here to get some help. Is there any possible way or place I could look where I would be able to download the software for HD?

So ive found a kind of 'work around' im guessing. I did receive the missing driver error when I downloaded the latest version of the capture software, and it wouldn't detect my device. At the same time, I noticed that most posts about the old HD software were telling you to make sure to have v2.0 or later installed for it to work. I went on the download history page and I downloaded the 2.9 version, and it actually worked and is detecting my old HD game capture device now.

So im using Elgato HD60 S to capture game footage from a PC to another PC. The problem is my streaming PC can catch all the audio from my gaming pc (mic included, which is great) but now I cant hear anything through my headphone on either PC.

@robust mural use the audio mixer on the PCs and block out the audio you donj't need

Hi everyone, I just tried to get my HD60 S+ and 4K Capture utility to record some PSVR gameplay. First, I noticed there's no longer an option to have PSVR cropping, which sucks, but it's manageable. Unfortunately, when I tried to record (or even play while not recording) there's an issue where the game can't find the HDMI every 30 seconds or so. I unplugged it from the Elgato and straight into the TV and it works fine and my old Game Capture HD worked well before. Does the new capture card/software not support VR? Or is there some setting that I missed?

Still having issues with my HD60S

I finally got Game capture software to stop crashing when I plugged in the HD60S but when I plug it into every USB 3.0 slot on my MB and it says “The device requires usb 3.0 to function properly” USBTreeViewer shows the it is connecting, some ports it’s connecting as USB 2.1, and on 1 or 2 slots it runs USB 3.0 but it still won’t connect, any fixes?

I am using epoccam PRO version with my iphone 11 pro and my mac. connected via USB into OBS to record talking head footage. in epoccam settings i have it set to best quality. But in webcam settings and properties in OBS it will only let me select 720P preset. and attempt to choose higher or use a custom resolution results in a black screen. what am i doing wrong? i would like to record with epoccam at the advertised 1080P resolution

So basically I have all the audio and video working using streamlabs, voicemeeter banana, and elgato capture card. However, 2 things are happening, 1) My game audio is two seconds behind my game video.. 2) I'm getting 28% dropped frames, not entirely sure what it is but I did notice my game pc is at 100%cpu and gpu usage

they are pretty high, thats true.

but it really depends on where the discord server is and how your ISP is routing the aduio. also discord doesnt like audio higher than a certain bitrate. also the opus codec doesnt play well with virtual cables so if you arent using the direct output from the mic then any of those things could cause the robotic sound

really the only thin you should need is a gate on your mic input in obs if you are using the nvidia software already

a gate prevents the audio from going through until it meets a certain volume level. can help limit keyboard noise and similar, though the nvidia software is supposed to help with that as well

Hey guys I just picked up a 1440p144hz monitor and the 4k60 pro I have had doesnt want to go above 100hz in any combination of settings I throw at it. Any ideas?

Seems like when I do get it the monitor just blinks every few seconds but I can see the screen in the 4k capture utility.

I had similar problem when I went to my 1080p and changed the edid etc and was able to fix that but this one doesn't seem to matter what I put it on same result

Ever since I installed Wave Link I am having USB resource issues. I've run out of USB resources twice now, and this morning during a conference call none of my headsets would work. Any tweaks to modifying USB resource allocation for the wavelink program? It added a ton of sound output options which is nice for the stream but apparently an issue with available USB endpoints.

I'm using an AMD 3950X which provides 254 USB endpoints on a USB 3 controller so I'm not sure what else I can do.

I review headsets (among a lot of other stuff) but an unfortunate byproduct is installing a lot of headset software then removing it. I also use a couple different USB DACs for my high end headphones

Sorry didn't see the 1080 part. Yeah the 4k60 mk2 will do the 4k 60p w hdr, and 1080@120 no problem. If you can find an HDMI 2.0 or HDMI 2.1 switch, that would work too, but they aren't cheap. They do not always play nice with HDCP as well

So I just got me an HD60 Pro to use for streaming games off my Switch, but even before I add it as a source to my OBS, using audio passthrough to my sound setup within Game Capture HD, I'm noticing a good second or two delay on sounds just within my menus. Is there an easy fix for this? I plan on using this for my actual gameplay on my end, so I'm not constantly switching video signals on my monitor itself, so naturally I want that delay as imperceptible as possible lol

The HD60 is USB 2.0 and will have a delay no matter what. The HD60S is near real time, but is still challenging to use as a real time input in highly competitive FPS scenarios @twilit sand

hello my stream deck app on ios does not work properly when my active program is Call of duty black ops Cold War

Idk if its a bug or a sodtware issue but ive tryed to update my stream deck software uninstal and reinstall both obs studio and streamlabs obs uninstalling amd reinstalling the software deleating and re installing my app and restoring my purchase on my app store and nothing

When im playing BOCW if i am actuvly playing a match (not tabed out to desktop) my stream deck will not activate and cause my obs to respond and follow the comands givin when my stream deck mibile is showing positive feed back that the comand was sucsesfull

As soon as i tab out to desktop im able to use my stream deck like normal with out any issues whatsoever

Hey everyone I recently got the Elgato Key Lights and the first one I opened everything set up nice and easy, but on the second one the pole that holds the light will not go up or down at all. Game Capture HD is working just fine! OBS Link on the other hands is doing poorly.

-Downloaded the newest version, the app wouldn't even open
-Downloaded the original version, the app is opening and displaying in my menu bar BUT does not register my Elgato HD60s as a connected device, so I'm stuck
-All NDIs have been installed
-I've restarted my computer multiple times as well as uninstalled and reinstalled the content multiple times

I've been scouring the internet for almost 5 hours now, I'd really appreciate the help cause I'm at my wits end and honestly just considering returning the item. Any help would be appreciated!!!

I'm running a single system with a spare rig ready to go.

But I want to use my StreamDeck setup on both PCs.

Pretty much will be using Windows in built remote desktop too control the capture PC. I don't want to have to replug the decks between the systems to utilise them.

Anyone have any ideas.

sorry for all of this text, but I'm having some issues with my 3 key lights (2x air, 1 regular). As of this morning they were no longer showing up in the control center on my desktop, which is where the lights are set up. I tried resetting them, and re-connecting them to the network. This failed repeatedly for all 3 lights, and now none of them are showing up, at all, when I look for accessories to add. Through the app for my network I can see that they are connected at 2.4 GHz. They still show up, and can be controlled through the app on my iPhone.

I've searched for similar incidents, and see a few, but no solution. Last issue was about a week ago

For the last week or so one or two were gone as I started my computer, on mostly a daily basis, which I thought was odd. After switching them off and on again they re-appeared, but as I wrote above they have been gone since this morning

I also uninstalled the control center, rebooted my network, unplugged the lights in addition to resetting them

#

If anyone has experienced similar issues, and figured out a fix - please let me know

So fun question, everything is brand new, my old elgato works, new one works, my friend and I have the same specs on our pcs and my ps4 isn't picking up on his pc, reinstalled software as well

So hey while I'm here, does anyone know of any ways to help Game Capture simply just... NOT kill my computer upon capturing gameplay? It's caused me to be completely unable to stream smash and even when the only other thing running is discord it still lags to hell and I'm genuinely confused. I've tried to optimize it as much as possible like setting it to 720p30fps, best performance slider setting, etc. and even when its running by itself it caps my comp at 100% cpu usage and renders me unable to do anything while capturing, with the capturing even stuttering and running at abysmal quality and I'm just so confused at this point

Can anyone from Elgato help me? I am unable to update my streamdeck so I wanted to uninstall it en reinstall it but my streamdeck isn't able to locate the installation file. I searched it myself and it is not there so I am unable to uninstall it. Anyway i can fix this?

So I have to get on a zoom meeting in about 30 minutes and I'm using EpocCam as my webcam. I can see the video feed in the EpocCam viewer on my pc but not in Zoom.
How can I fix this?

Okay so I fixed it. Apparently Zoom couldn't get the feed while the viewer was running

Hey everyone! Not sure if anyone has had this issue but I just downloaded and am using EpocCam pro in OBS via Wifi, I have 1080p signal just fine but the mic in my phone keeps popping. I've tried using it on discord and have not experienced this issue. I then tried using just the audio as an audio input capture source and I finally got clear audio however it was extremely delayed. Does anyone have a potential solution for me that I could try?

Hey there I have a question about the elegato hd60 s. I recently got one and I plugged it in and it works fine. When I was looking at capture quality it’s was crips clean and everything looking amazing. I go to see my PlayStation tv setting and the capture card actually improved the quality of my tv and I was gaming better. I left it plugged in for two days and now all of the sudden I was playing a game then the screen froze and it went back to my old setting which had a cloudy look. I check the capture quality and it’s crips clean. Is there a reason why it went back to normal ? Is it because so had it plugged in the whole time ?

Hey yo, so i have this problem with setting up my Elgato hd60 pro (internal) to my 165hz pc screen. I found out that the elgato obviously doesnt support hz which goes that high, but that it's still possible to use a 144hz pc screen without getting weird flickering when i record/stream. I tried using a DisplayPort, which i suppose is recomended to use for a 165hz screen, but when i do, i'd have to sacrifice one of my pc screens (i have 3 screens + elgato), which means that i use dvi for one pc, displayport to my 165hz screen, and then hdmi from the elgato to the 165hz as well. This means that i have both a hdmi cable and a displayport connected to my 165hz screen, so i can just clone the elgato and the 165hz pc screen together, using the nvidia controllpanel. But two problems occur while i do this:

  1. Sacrificing one of my hdmi connected pc screens that i just explained.
  2. Loads of flickering happening when i try to record/stream because the elgato can't keep up with 165hz.

So i only have 1 question for this:

  • Can you use an hdmi cable for at least 144hz (on my 165hz screen) and not get flickering while you stream/record with the elgato? (I use obs streamlabs btw if this helps).

so I have an older elgato, I got the cable for it and cant get my Ps3 to capture. I can get it to out put through it, as in when I turn it on it registers on my TV, but when I boot up the elgato program it blanks the screen and doesnt detect the device. I have tried changeing the resultion, but it wont do anything with that either. Is there anything I can do to get it running correctly?

Hi, i recently upgraded my streaming PC motherboard and processor (AMD) and have the Elgato 4K Pro. Everythign was working fine before the upgrade, but when I upgraded i couldn't find my elgato on my streaming PC (not even on device manager as an unknown). I tried resintalling drivers and apps, still no solution. Could use some help as to what I can do to fix it. Thanks

Question: Set hotkeys (under System) on the Streamdeck do not always work.

e.g.: If OBS Studio is in focus (active window) the defined hotkeys of OBS (like Instant replay F8) are not working. As soon as OBS is in the background the hotkeys work.
