Anyone else struggle to stream this game?
I’ve had to drop to 1080p 30fps but even then it can still skip frames. Even when I can get the stream to smooth out it will still look pixelated during game movement (running etc). Have lowered game settings. No other games have this or any other problem.

@civic river 4K Capture Utility already records separate tracks for the Capture Card Audio and Live Commentary. But if you're using VOIP audio that is either mixed in with audio captured from the 4K60 Pro MK.2, or it's not captured by 4K Capture Utility.
If you're sending all audio to the capture PC through the 4K60 Pro MK.2 then it's all mixed into a single stream and you can't split it apart again. You'd need to be routing audio through separate streams to be able to control it on the capture side.
@sharp agate @steep briar Just to tag onto this. The HD60 Pro's H.264 encoder is only accessed/leveraged when recording inside of Game Capture HD.
Recording in other software will use your GPU or CPU. As they only get access to the uncompressed feed from the HD60 Pro.
But GPUs handle encoding amazingly well and using the GPU for encoding is generally the first thing suggested anyways.

@versed dagger It's a general error icon. Doesn't refer to anything specifically. However, since you're seeing that and the button below it. It makes me believe the app on your phone is working fine with its connection to the PC and it's the integration between Stream Deck and Streamlabs OBS which is breaking.
My assumption is perhaps you need to delete and remake the key. It may be pointing to the wrong object or it's been renamed possibly.

@cunning latch the goxlr is connected to the gaming pc via usb, and sending sound out to the stream pc. i dont think there is any sound going through the 4k60 hdmi port. The only sound I'm able to choose from is the "line in" and that's coming from the goxlr.
- If I connect the goxlr to the capture/streaming pc, would I be able to separate the voice from the gameplay from the gaming pc? If so, wouldn't that cause an issue with me talking in-game to other players (not in discord, because i would run discord on my capture/streaming pc to capture that voice sound). Since my mic is connected to the goxlr and the goxlr is connected to the capture/streaming pc, i don't think i'd be able to talk to people in-game on the gaming pc. (hopefully that makes sense)
- I feel like this is a goxlr question, but I'm not getting any answers on their discord so I came to the elgato discord channel.

Have a question or two regarding the HD60S+ vs the 4k60S+. I am currently building a two streaming setup utilizing a laptop as my streaming "PC". I'm trying to determine if there is added value of using a 4k60S+ over the HDS+ if I am not trying to stream in 4k. Essentially, will my gaming monitor (1440p144hz) be impacted by using an HDS+ over the 4k? Also, I'm aware of the 200MS capture delay on the 4k, is that also present in the HD? Finally, are there additional benefits of utilizing the 4k when not streaming in 4k? Improved stream quality, etc?
Also, is the HS60S+/4k60S+ capable of capture gaming footage AND the image from a DSLR camera, or do I need an additional Cam Link for the DSLR?

@left ingot Only the 4K60 Pro supports refresh rates over 60hz. So the HD60 S+ will be limited to 1080p60, 1440p60, or 4K60. 4K60 S+ is limited to 1080p60 or 4K60.
All of our devices, except for the 4K60 S+, has the low latency 'Instant Gameview'. HD60 S+ has a very low latency.
These devices only capture from one device at once. So if you wish to capture a camera as well, you'll need another capture card like a Cam Link.

@left ingot Correct. I'm referring to the time it takes for video to leave the console go through the capture card and appear on the capture preview.
4K60 S+ is currently the highest of our lineup at ~250ms because it has an onboard video encoder. Which is needed since it does 4K60 HDR recording over USB 3.0.
And... standalone to an SD Card.
@mental viper It's up to the plugin developer to integrate support for Multi-Actions. It's possible they didn't enable multi-action support for it.

If you were to use the HD60 S+ or 4K60 S+ your source device/PC would only be able to output 720p 60hz, 1080p 60hz, 2160p 60hz. Or 1440p 60hz for the HD60 S+.
So if you wanted to use a setup with a 144hz monitor and run it at 144hz, you'd need to be using the 4K60 Pro PCIe card.

@left ingot There are some workarounds which aren't bulletproof though. You can of course connect the 144hz monitor to the output of the laptop/PC and then connect the HD60 S+ or 4K60 S+ separately to the PC.
Your PC will then see two displays. You can then clone these together. Sometimes you can still set the cloned setup to 144hz and sometimes it will still work. Windows will on its own send 144hz to the monitor and 60hz to the capture card. But this is very hit or miss with most games.
Updating to Windows 10's 2004 update significantly improves this behavior though.

But for a "pure" setup where you connect the monitor to the output of the capture card, the 4K60 Pro is the only one which can do this.

Hey! I seem to have a problem with my Elgato HD60S that wasn't there before.
When I'm broadcasting it, it seems to skip frames from time to time and kinda 'tears' the sound as well.
This does not happen on my monitor but on the PC preview.
In addition, if I use 'Elgato Gaming Capture HD', there seems to be a bit of delay, whereas if I use 'Game Capture HD60 S (Video) (#0X)', there's no delay but the tearing is very annoying.
This is for both the Elgato Software and OBS.
For reference, my system's specs are:

I would say that it was already there before, but it became worse when I updated to Windows 10 May 2020 update.

So i got a 4K Cam Link today and the thing worked for about an hour and then bam died on me, whenever i connect my camera to it now, my cameras screen is like a darkish blue color, I also tried reinstalling everything that didn't work, then I also opened up OBS and went to the camlinks properties and i couldn't even select any, there were no resolutions to choose from at all, just blank. Any help on this?

@supple carbon You don't need OBS Link for the HD60 S+. That's only for the HD60 S. You can uninstall OBS Link.
HD60 S+ will work directly inside of OBS Studio or other software without special apps needed.

Heyoo, having a weeeird issue with my 4K60Pro MK2. If I ever try to go above 1080p60 on XB1X, this happens, 4k capture utility, obs freak out, my PC resources usage goes through the roof and basically nothing can be captured. The signal itself is unaffected, since on my second monitor I can see everything just fine in the resolution I've selected.
No major changes were done, everything was working perfectly fine just a month ago. What I've tried so far: reinstalling 4k utility, reseating the capture card in another pci-e slot, changing hdmi cables. Nothing works so far.

GPU seems fine for this, but if resources go really high then make sure 4KCU is set to use the GPU to encode.

I've seen this behavior before, but it usually only lasts for a quarter of a second when the signal is re-attained. Under Video Fidelity & Overscan is it set to Automatic or HDMI? DVI does seem to cause problems.
Do you have anything between the console and the 4K60 Pro like an HDMI Switch, splitter, etc? I might also suggest disconnecting and reconnecting the cables or replacing them.

@cunning latch It was set to auto-detect, managed to set the resolution to 1440p60 and get a signal, 120 does not seem to work at all, the console is freaking out as well atm (restarting it), but at 1440p60 I can hear the audio starts to glitch out, it does it every time when 4k capture utility starts going crazy with the GPU usage.
if I try to set it to 1440p120 it says that it's not supported and forces me back to 1080p120, and 4k utility software does this now:

Hello I'm having an issue with my Elgato Game Capture HD60 Pro. My there is massive screen tear occurring when I'm using it in OBS (and elgato's capture program).
My gaming Monitor is 240hz, but the only thing being connected to the elgato capture is the hdmi from the gaming monitor. From the GPU I have a DP cable connecting directly to my gaming monitor. My elgato is being cloned off of my Gaming Monitor. Any help?

@south bronze is this on Windows? I'd disconnect the Cam Link 4K. Then go into Device Manager. Go to View > Show Hidden Devices. Then find any Cam Link 4K listings in Sound, Video, and Game Controllers and uninstall each of them.
Then reconnect the Cam Link 4K and let it reinstall the driver for it. If this doesn't help, I'd email us: http://e.lga.to/help and we can collect some more information to see what is going on.

I only have one thing wrong with that article. You have to have obs running on your gaming pc. Even just having obs open will hurt your frames. Sometimes you can lose %5-%10 of performance just by having obs open

I have been playing musical USB ports and messing up all other parts of my stream just trying to get this thig to work.

I messed with a bunch of setting changed a bunch of stuff. All I succeeded in doing was making the video worse. Sound started stuttering.
I have it plugged into a 3.0 port and video is good but now have zero audio.
Also passthrough audio and video is fine.

Hi! I have downloaded OBS and Streamlabs and an currently trying to get it to recognize my capture card as a source but it won't come up for either software. I've tried changing setting and making sure it is only open on one software at a time. I'm not sure what else to do. (Macbook / Elgato HD60 S / Nintendo Switch for reference!) I had also tried using the Elgato Software but the frame capture is so low that I can't use it (between 5-10 fps).

I know that the technical support team is busy but I raised a ticket case as I'm getting the Elgato Remote Plugin is missing error and we tired the fixes posted online to no success. Email I got after I submitted the Elgato Windows Reporter utility and received a response saying it was being passed on to technical and would be answered within 1-3 business days. that was on 17/08. I have not heard since and I have sent a follow up email 5 days ago to no response yet. Any know experiencing a big delay in response. I understand they are busy just want the stream deck to work with OBS as designed.

Okay, hopefully someone can help me. I'm facing two problems when I stream. The first is, my video is very desaturated and looks like it's basically just a hint of color, and also it's not fitting the entire screen (like there are two black bars across the bottom and top) and I can't find ANY troubleshooting on the internet at all. I'm streaming my Animal Crossing and Spiritfarer games (both on a Switch) through the Elgato HD60s.

While integrated graphics have impoved a lot, I'd still suggest getting a laptop with Nvidia or AMD graphics. Even if you're not recording HDR, being able to offload stream encoding to the GPU is very helpful if your find yourself CPU bottlenecked.

Just picked up a Wave 3. I'm liking it a lot so far, however I notice that the gain keeps increasing on its own and settles at about 62%. I've already read the Elgato Troubleshooting page on this and disabled the Discord Auto Gain Control, yet it still increases the gain in the Wavelink software. Any advice?

Having an issue with the "Play AD" function. It will work sometimes and others it will do nothing. When it stops working I am able to just run the ad from the creator dashboard on Twitch without issue so there has to be a disconnect between the Stream Deck and Twitch?

im having an issue with my stream deck, i had it set up so that it did clips on twitch (all linked) and it worked for quite a while, i restarted my computer today and now it just comes up with an error symbol, anyone have any ideas?

Try removing your Twitch account from the Stream Deck then adding it back @south bronze ? It is the only solution I am having with my similar problem where I can run ADs at some points then I just get the yellow triangle at other times.

Hello, im in need of some advice. I use the elgato HD60 to send my xbox gameplay to OBS to broadcast and i use the elgato chat link so that my party chat can be heard. My issue is when i talk there is an echo becouse the my usb mic and headset mic for party chat both pick up my voice, when i just talk to chat with my usb mic i have no echo then when i talk to people in party chat the echo is back. I got an HD60 pro yesterday and after installing it the device is recognized but I'm getting no signal in either Game Capture or Streamlabs. I've done all the troubleshooting things Elgato recommends (cold booting, moving PCI slots, disabling and re-enabling it in the device manager, etc) but still no signal. Trying to capture Switch footage. Got the HDMI out on the switch dock going to the In slot on the HD60 Pro, then Out going to my monitor.

@simple kayak You can delay your mic to sync up in Advanced Audio Properties... If you use a cam you'll have to add a delay to that too. You'll probably have to do some trial and error recordings to get the sync right

I'm trying to build a two PC streaming set up, and I keep hearing that audio can get a little messy on dual PCs - i.e. monitoring audio through a capture card can add latency, etc. To minimize this, I know people use mixers; however, i don't really have the desire to get one. I like the toggle for the wave profile, but realllllllly wish I could have segregated input on/input off buttons.
I may experiment to see if I can leverage input levels instead
I just think having hard-coded input levels within a multi-action button could get messy as you have to remember to go in and adjust the values if you ever decide you want them differently on a whole. Like if you set the multi-action to bump something to 0 and then later to 100, but you prefer your new input level to be 70

I have got the picture on screen using HDMI->HDMI and using the Mini-USB to USB into PC... But when trying to use the software to capture it, it only says "no signal". I am having an off and on issue with Twitch interactions as well. The only fix I have found (which isn't permanent) is to remove the Twitch account and add it back. This suggestion fixed the same problem you had for another user recently @low summit

Linux has always been a little give-and-take. There are some things you end up leaving behind in Windows/MacOS when you swap over.
@elder dawn If you're using both Game Capture and OBS at the same time, you'll want to set your capture source in OBS to "Game Capture HD" instead of the capture card itself.
@glossy copper I think the easiest way would be to use a program called Voicemod instead and have that be your soundboard. It pretty much works the same as the Stream Deck soundboard but the sound goes through a virtual source tied to your microphone rather than through your speakers/headphones. It has a Stream Deck plugin so it feels about the same. The downside is that it's paid software; $20 for a permanent license and a much cheaper subscription option if you just want to try it out for a month.

@south bronze They're combing artifacts. You can right click on the Cam Link's source in OBS and choose an option from the "Deinterlacing" tab to see which one works best for you.

What I tried:
- Restarting PC
- Changing HDMI cables
- Removing 4KPRO (cleaning)
- Changing resolution/updating Nvidia drivers/changing 3d setting in Nvidia control panel.
Using XSplit software, these two columns (red/green colors) appeared out of nowhere, i didn't update anything or moved my devices, just switched on my streaming and gaming PC and found this.

So I have an issue with OBS hotkeys. I'm running my games on a virtual PC through SHadow. Now when I'm in Shadow, MY OBS hotkeys are not working. Is there some way I can generate an action/hotkey through my streamdeck which is not a button on my keyboard? For exampel is tehre a way to just create a button in your streamdeck which you can assign to do anything. Or a button that can be assigned to a function in OBS? I have an HD60. My gaming console input connects to the HD60 which outputs to my gaming monitor. My issue is for my gaming audio to play to my speakers or headset, either Game Capture HD or Streamlabs has to be running. I just want to be able to hear my game audio without Game Capture HD or streamlabs being necessary.
So to be clear: The HD60 audio transmits audio when either of those two softwares are running. Video still runs fine without either software running

I don't think my Elgato is capturing audio. I have the HDMI running to the elgato and then to the monitor, and then outputting audio from the monitor to a splitter, one end to a speaker, and another end into Elgato. When I open up OBS, video capture is working fine, but I can't seem to get Audio to work.

Hey what's up everybody! So I'm having kind of a strange issue with my Elgato HD60 Pro. I am sending video via HDMI from my MSI Stealth GS75 HDMI out to my streaming pc (PC2) Elgato HD60 HDMI in port. I have my gaming monitor for PC1 going from USB-C to DP. My native resolution for my gaming monitor is 1440 x 2560. Okay so I can see my desktop on my stream elements OBS but I cannot see any OPEN windows or applications. Including my games.

@grim idol you might be capturing a different desktop screen since you have multiple monitors, try running windows left and right to move an app across desktops and see if that helps.

@bitter osprey Okay so I did fix that issue. However, now that my displays are cloned my really nice 1440 @ 144Hz monitor is scaled down to 1080 @ 60Hz. Is there a way to change the resolution of monitors independently while still keeping the monitors cloned?

Yes should be possible. I'm guessing there should be options in OBS to help you with that. You can access them either via general settings from File -> Settings or from the Video Capture Card's specific settings.

Hello everybody! I'm having some issues with one of my 4K60 Pro. All connections are fine, did all trouble shooting, XBOX image is showing fine on my monitor but shows as NO Signal on Xsplit (Broadcaster) or on the 4K Capture Utility. Not sure what more to do? Any advice?

I have an Elgato 4k Mk 2 and I've been recording footage today from a few games. The others appear to turned out okay, but this one, is completely unusable. The game did not look like this on my television screen.

Quick question w/ hopefully quick fix: I am trying to stream to Twitch from my Xbox One using an Elgato HD60S+ and am having issues with pixelation/blurring. Using SLOBS and I know it’s probably bitrate related but can’t find anything that deals with my problem specifically. Mostly all PC related stuff. HD60S+ seems to be a brick. I have played musical USB ports and drivers to get it to work properly. The only thing that works is the passthrough audio and video. I have tried finding literature on the device but there doesn't seem to be any. I am now trying to start all over on a better PC and no luck. Doesn't matter which USB I use. OBS doesn't seem to pick it up anymore. The only options I get are the screen link or USB video device. I have tried getting help from Elgato and here but no luck either way.

Hello everyone I recently bought a 4k60 Pro and it seems to work fine for capturing things like my Switch. But using it for Retro games doesn't look good at all. The source I'm trying to capture is 480p through a RetroTink2X. The video comes through but it jitters at random intervals. I've swapped cables around and nothing seems to work. is there maybe a custom EDID I need to be using since the source is 480p?

@robust grotto i don't see why it wouldn't work, but you can use apps to view your android/ios devices via usb or wirelessly or LAN using something like Vysor and i'm sure a bunch others.

once again...I haven't touched my PC in two days...and now the buttons on my stream deck that I have set up to put a simple line of chat in twitch doesn't work...WHY do I have to close out stream deck, re-log in, log out of twitch (on the deck) and RE-ADD it EVERY. Hi all, I was just curious. I have a Motherboard that is x16 PCIE or x8/x8 if using 2 video cards. Top most PCIE has a 2070. Would installing a 4K HD60 Pro card in the 2nd slot affect things on the graphics? Or should I go for the PCIE all the way towards the bottom of the motherboard?
The bottom PCIE shares bandwidth with SATA 5 & 6 which I have nothing plugged into.. So was just curious if anyone has any info on that? The video from the website says to "Find an empty PCIE slot" but I didn't want to affect my FPS..

2, 4, and 6 should work for it for the capture cards.

i would plug the capture card in the 6th slot @snakey since it sounds like your mobo steps down to x8/8 when both x16 slots are filled. it doesn't have to be another x16 card or setup in SLI/Crossfire for this to happen

That's what I was thinking too, just to be safe. I'll move it down to the bottom slot just to guarantee that x16 for the card.. I plan to go with the 3080 and not sure yet if it would saturate the x16 even! I prioritize FPS over Resolution but cap my FPS enough to give room for the stream to work with no glitches. hi guys, quick question: has anyone ever tried to use a capture card with two computers? not to play on one computer and stream with the other, but to receive the elgato signal on two computers. basically, i want to record and stream at the same time, but my pc sucks, so i cant do it unless i drive down the quality of both stream and replay down to garbage levels. i have a laptop though, so i was wondering if i could use some sort of usb splitter cable to record with my pc and stream with my laptop. would that work? i never used a usb splitter cable before, so i dont know how those work.

a splitter cable will work @mossy basin you want to make sure its a powered splitter as a cheaper non-powered ones can't display simultaneously. i have no idea if it can do what you are trying to accomplish I've never tried that, only way I've tried is to split the video source and have two capture devices, one in each PC.
you could view the Streaming PC's screen via LAN and record that way but i'm not sure how great the video quality would be

Shouldn't feel dumb at all for that. It only needs a 4x slot. So there much be some collision or underlying behavior issue with the motherboard to cause the previous slot to not be a good option.

Depending on the board, the x16 slot might be wired directly into the CPU rather than the chipset

What do you mean sounds or voices? Sound is coming from the laptop's speakers and it's picked up by the mic?

Well you aren't going to fix that without just using headphones. If sound enters the mic, it's picked up.
Your best workaround if you can't use headphones is probably RTX voice which uses AI to selectively filter out some sounds. But our mic or software at this time doesn't have special filter support for filtering out certain sounds.

lately my 4K60Pro has been doing this. To alleviate the issue, I would have to restart the system. It only happens when the computer initially boots. Sometimes restart the PC won't fix it and I would have to restart the computer again.

@pine hearth The 4K60 S+'s audio input port is for what are known as 'Line Level' signals. So signals which don't need amplification. Microphone signals need a preamp of somekind to be usable.
So you wouldn't be able to directly connect a microphone to the port on the 4K60 S+ or any of our other external cards and have it pick up a signal.
of course if you had some sort of mixer or preamp that may work if you really needed to connect the mic directly.

Hey guys, just recently, I tried to update my streamdeck's software, and it failed to update. I was unsure what the cause of the problem was, but then I tried launching the software, and it has deleted itself off of my computer. The 4K60 Pro MK.2 absolutely supports up to 144hz at 1440p to be clear. So something else is happening certainly

@cunning latch I tried reloading both, reinstalling, I did not end up trying a different slot, the machine I'm using the card in wasn't strong enough for a stable stream (6700k) and stuttered so I just stopped for now. Once my new hardware comes in if I encounter the problem again I'll give you a message, I've had it happen before a few times when using PS4 on a single PC, but can't remember cause or how I fixed it.

So i just got my wave3 and i am getting it setup with the wavelink, and i’m running into an issue where it recognizes my mic enough to start the software, but inside, i have to manually add the wave channel (something an elgato youtube video said would be done automatically) and there is a yellow hazard triangle under in the channel, once it is added. Do we know what that may be or how we can fix it?

I hope this is allowed but I've been having a problem lately with my elgato HD60s. For some background, it wasn't working at all a few months ago but I found out my USB-USBC cable was wrong and switched it back and it worked again. It's basically perfect currently... Until about an hour or two after pluging it in it just shuts off. I never record that long so it's not a huge deal but I also have it plugged into a secondary monitor that I use and it's getting really annoying to have to unplug and plug it back in every hour or two I'm on my computer. Ive made sure my USBs don't shut off for power management and I've updated all the drivers. If anyone has any ideas that would be rad!

OBS's settings might be too aggressive for your hardware. Game Capture errs on the side of performance if it can.

Your overlays should be on your PC not on your console
Your game capture card should capture your gameplay from your console and then project onto a PC/Mac. You then use OBS Studios to display an overlay and all that fun stuff.

Dual pc setup and when I have the hdmi plugged into the 4k60 pro on the streaming PC it bugs out my main gaming pc. Currently stuck at the win10 login screen. I just recently purchased a Key Light Air. For the Key Light Air, is there a means of showing on the Stream Deck what the current numeric brightness and temperature levels are so that a preset can me made on the StreamDeck to re-tune the light to that condition? (i.e. brightness at 30% and temperature in Kelvin).
Elgato Control Center only shows the levels graphically but has no numerical equivalents showing the current level.

@maiden pelican There isn't currently that sort of feedback on the light itself. But there is a 'Set Brightness' and 'Set Temperature' button which can be used to specify an exact value. And that number will be on the button.

I am a completely newbie to streaming/recording content and the Elgato so maybe this seems stupid. I am having the hardest time getting my Elgato HD60 to record my audio/game audio. And when it does record my personal audio, I'm getting a small (like half a second) delay in my headphones that is seriously distracting.

I recently build a second PC to dual PC stream so that I could have perfect performance while gaming and streaming. I play games with a higher refresh rate. I just recently lowered from 144hz to 120hz thinking I would have more performance on my 4k60Pro.... for some reason im getting screen tearing on my twitch streams from my capture card why is this? everything is locked at 120hz/120fps on my nvidia drivers and in game. my game is totally fine but my image quality from my capture card is not as good as i would like it to be. how can I fix this? screen tearing drives me nuts.

Hey everyone, I recently purchased an HD60 to stream Xbox games and when streaming with it, there is a significant delay between my reaction time and when the stream sees it. This only occurs when using the Elgato. If I stream from my PC a PC game, stream is real time. IS there a way to fix this? I use Streamlabs OBS and do not have a stream delay anywhere that I am aware of.

@lyric lava HD60 has an onboard encoder which is where that delay comes from. HD60 was before we moved to lower latency models like the HD60 S or HD60 Pro. That's what the Instant Gameview feature is referencing. It's generally around a second.
But HD60 has been discontinued for years. where'd you find one.

@lyric lava i dont know what inputs you have, but this should work with everything (mic, desktop audio, webcam):
click on the settings cog next to Mixer
then add a Sync Offset to match the elgato's input. personally 600ms worked perfectly on my Game Capture HD with a component input from my wii

@south bronze The issue stems from a viewers perspective. My stream audio and video sync correctly. Its when that stream is displayed to platforms via Twitch and YT is where they see a delay. Example: Chat types "hi". I respond hi immediately in my chat. It takes 30 seconds for them to see my actual response and gameplay on their end.
This issue only occurs when utilizing my elgato. Not when streaming directly from my PC. Would the sync offset help with that issue?

@lyric lava Anything in the software controlling the card should have minimal delay. 0.1s at most usually. Only place you really should be seeing a delay is on the website running displaying the stream for viewers.

If it happens to take 20-30seconds to go from your PC to viewers then that is something quite different.
If it does indeed only seem to do this when the Elgato device is in the mix, what are your system's specs? And could you provide a log from Streamlabs OBS

Heyo. I have a 4K60 Pro mk2 in my dual PC setup at my office. Is there any known fix for the "No Signal" popup I get often? I know the screen is what it says it is, but this never happened when I was using the HD60 Pro instead of my 4K. It happens every time I tab in and out of exclusive full-screen applications and it flickers non-stop every 10 seconds or so whenever I'm playing a game thats either windowed or borderless windowed.

@south bronze Also Flashback files are deleted when the software is closed. Shouldn't need to be something you need to manually touch.
@humble knoll Do you have any problems running other software on your PC? If it shuts off on its own that sounds like an issue possibly with the system. Like the CPU is overheating or the powersupply isn't working correctly.
@light burrow Our software can send captured audio to the desktop audio, yes. So if you're piping your system audio to viewers on Discord they should hear it.

I have no other issues with any other software. I have no issues streaming mobile games or PC games. I’ve used MSI Afterburner and have not noticed any alarming temperatures regarding my PC.

Also, i have I5 8th generation CPU, he's recording fine and smooth from my PS4 on 1080p (got 4k60 pro), but 100% i can't record on 4k, i have problems editing my 1080p footage on Premiere pro and lightworks, the vids are choppy and too much for my CPU to handle (usage spikes to 100%), so i'm planning to upgrade for an i9 9th generation CPU in the next blackfriday. Just in general i5 CPUs are not for video editing.
