Hey all Quick question. I just recieved my 4k60 Pro Installed it. No device found. I have tried different pcie slots. Still same. I have installed all software. Nothing. I have latest bios installed. I have changed bios pcie slot to gen 2. Still no joy. but soon as i plug my HD60 pro in. it finds it straight away

Hope it's okay to ask this here? I just updated my Wave Link software and audio will sort of cut in/out or occasionally glitch? Almost like a slight feedback noise every few seconds. Happens on every input, each mix, and closing/reopening and restarting hasn't fixed it. I'm not entirely sure what would have changed besides the update.

i updated to the newest version of wave link, i then noticed there was a firmware update for my wave 3 but its been stuck on initializing for over an hour. i closed it through task manager, changed USB ports and its still stuck at this step where my mic is blinking red and it just says initializing on wave link

Hey all. I have Installed my 4K60 Pro Capture Card For my PS5 Gameplay so i can stream/Record.
I also Game Stream on a single PC Set-up I was wondering is it possible to use a HDMI Splitter to plugged Into IN on the capture card so i can then plug my HDMI from PS5 to Splitter then a HDMI from my 3080 to the spitter as i dont fancy changing cables when i want to either game/stream/record on either PS5 or PC

First off, congrats on the 4kpro 60 mk.2 card. You don't need a splitter for a single pc setup. Your PC gpu should be able to encode, and rec. your pc gameplay without a splitter, but your p5 will require the capture card. the 4k capture card doesn't encode, only your gpu does. hope this helps you, and saves you money.

Don't think you can do that with Discord Stream Deck plugin from Elgato.

The delays are very important. They should be long enough for the action before it to complete. Without them your multiactions will not work as expected and is the most common reason for multiactions not working consistently or properly. It will be very rare that an action can complete in 1ms or even 10ms. Start with 100ms and work your way down. 50ms is about as low as i would recommend going.

Anyone have any suggestions: I have stream deck and the 4k60 Pro Mk.2 card. The stream decks are attached to my main system (i9-11900k, 64gb ram, RTX 3080 FTW3 Ultra, m.2 SSD's, Tobii 4 eye/head tracking, Windows 10 Pro, HOTAS and I run this system at 3840x2160 IHD 4k, Power Supply is a EVGA 1600 Platinum) and the 4k60 Pro Mk.2 card is installed a second machine (i7-3770s, 48gb ram, GTX 1080, 2 x SSD and this systems runs an EVGA 1200 Platinum power supply BUT it is only at 1920x1080p resolution) I.E. I send 3840x2160 to the second system which is only running in 1920x1080 but also outputting to twitch at 3840x2160.. The 2nd system is the one sending the stream to Twitch.

The problem I am having is that the main system randomly blue screens any time I duplicate screens to the capture card in the 2nd machine. Sometimes it works without issue, sometimes it can blue screen randomly a few times before stabilizing. If I do not duplicate screens or literally unplug the HDMI cable between the two systems to the card, it stops blue screening the main system (the second system never BSOD's, only the main system)

Anyone else seen this or have a found a technical issue with the capture card?

My HD60 Pro has intervals where it runs at 60 FPS without problems, but suddenly it turns to a 30 FPS "feel" even when OBS says it's running at 60 FPS

I have the HD60 S+ and use the 4K capture utility and honestly, I have NEVER had it consistently work well (I use OBS). It locks up, it crashes, and most of the time if I try to close it when it does that I then have to go into task manager to actually get rid of it. I have had to make that source in OBS oversized so I don't have the top and bottom show up (the "capture/library" tabs and the info bar at the bottom) because if I just full screen it, I get jittering on stream. I also didn't used to HAVE to have it full screen to be full screen on OBS but I don't know if that's something I did.

Also, is there a way to have it not start recording automatically?

ok once you switch it to analog in 4k capture utility, it’s already setup for the obs/streamlabs software. Not sure what else you’re trying to do with video properties.

Well I didn’t know that bout once I put Anaglog on in 4K Capture Unitily didn’t have to put Anaglog on in OBS Studio you sure bout that cuz I remember in OG Elgato Game capture card all I Did turn Anaglog on in OG Elgato software then turn Anaglog in streaming software but now is different in elgato hd 60x & 4K Capture unitily

this part is correct, but you shouldn’t be using Game Capture just 4K Capture Utility for the HD60X, for analog audio to switch it. Once it’s in analog, that is all for the software. Then you can and should run it in OBS/Streamlabs, and monitor and output it as a separate audio input source. The Video should be muted, and turn off monitor and output. The video should be a separate source too. You should have 2 sources for this card.

I installed the latest Wave XLR update and there have been a multitude of issues unfortunately. I've been experiencing where all of my VST settings get wiped everytime I either restart the Wave Link software or when I restart/turn off and on my PC. I also cannot see the buffer size section anymore, if anyone else is having issues and has fixed this please let me know. If its a known bug and is being seen through its all good and I can wait

I’ve done an uninstall, reboot and reinstall of over everything and I got the plugin working again.
I’ve also sent a support ticket to Elgato for help with the button colours.
I’ve also made a start on doing my own button icons. Doing my own should help with consistency as updates happen.

Hello everyone. I'm at my wits end with this HD60S+. It shows a white light on it when I start it up, but it doesn't show up in Device Manager at all. It's not detected by the software either, of course. I found the manual drivers and installed them. I've rebooted. I've tried different USB ports. This is running off Windows 11 on a Predator Triton 500 laptop. Any suggestions folks?

Hello, I'm currently running into an audio issue with the HD60 Pro.. I can't hear my PS4 at all, but I can see the audio is being picked up on OBS. The only way I can hear audio is by having the Game Capture app open 🤔 I don't remember this being an issue before. I'd prefer not to have Game Capture open. I know if I monitor the audio on OBS and have it output to my headset I'll hear it, but I also dont want to have OBS running if I'm not recording anything + theres a minor delay to audio...

For the past 2ish months, my ElGato Key Lights aren't recognized by my computer program/widget.

I've reset them (holding reset until it flashes 3 times, waiting 5 seconds, then turning on) but nothing seems to fix it. The app works perfectly fine but I can't trigger it via my desktop & Stream Deck.

Anyone know what to do? Both lights appear to be up-to-date software wise

I can. If you run things as "admin" you're telling windows that you give that program privileges to make any and all changes to windows itself without asking for permission, while simultaneously revoking any other non-admin program for seeing what its doing.

Unfortunately it was already off. It seems when I set the edid mode to display the colours look a bit better but the issue is whenever I reset my PCs, it switched back to internal and the colours look washed out again. So I have to open 4k capture utility and swap it back every time

Create a Multi Action Switch button. On the first page of the action, add three input actions and choose the Mute radio button and set one to each of the channels you want to mute. Then on the second page, do the same thing but change the dropdown on each action from mute to unmute. I suggest adjusting all of the delays on the actions to 1ms to get them to execute as quickly as possible

UHHH What just happened?

Out of nowhere I stopped getting audio out my headphones. I have them plugged into my Wave mic. And now they're just not showing up as an option for monitor mix

And no a firmware update did not do anything

@unborn jay push the control knob on the front of the microphone until the indicator light is on the middle option. Then turn it clockwise to increase the volume to the headphones

that jack is always outputing your monitor mix, theres no need to select it in wave link

or if not the mix, its outputting the mic input

@unborn jay Also check to make sure the device is not diabled in device manager. It is named Headphones (Elgato Wave:3)

There are known and reported issues with RTX voice effects. The Elgato effects are fine though.

Hello, can someone please help me. My problem is the following. It happens to me that my pc freezes and although I can minimize the screen, in this case LOL. It is still frozen and without any audio on the entire PC and I am forced to restart. Well, I discovered that this only happens to me when I have the Stream Deck program open. I played LOL for a whole month with the program closed and everything was going great. Well, yesterday I ran it again and updated and puff. mid game it freezes again. I repeat! this is only done with the Stream Deck running. It's like there's some conflict.

After a bunch of different troubleshooting it turned out to help when I plugged it into a USB 3.0. I don’t think the port type was the game changer but the ONLY thing I can think of is it was being surrounded by all my other gear plugged into my IO that draws power

Rather than update when it prompted me, I...

2. Back up each channel preset
3. Disconnect Wave device from back of PC (not device)

I have not had issues (so far) by doing this. I am guessing that with the update process it may miss deleting either important files or registry keys, which causes this particular problem.

I would suggest that because they both have been re-written with an updated core that there could be the potential for glitches with the older Wave Link SD plugin. That is just a guess though, the Elgato staff would be able to give better advice though.

I have a LG QHD 2560 x 1440 pixels monitor, I use my Elgato HD60pro but I cannot get max resolution out of my monitor. I’m having a hard time understanding why this is lowering my monitor display settings when the video being transmitted to my stream is what should be at 1080p not my monitor itself. Will I have to buy the 4K one instead? Right now I have my xbox series x plugged into my capture card via HDMI and I’m getting poorer display quality on my monitor than what I should be getting. Currently I'm not able to completely uninstall the Stream Deck Software, there are Still data left like Default-Profile with custom buttons.
Even if I delete everything in AppData (Local/Roaming).

Reason behind it. Since Update 6.0.0.17703 I have Big Issues to Maintain Profiles.
If I add buttons, or Try to edit them (just clicking) on them, the software is "not responding" anymore and crashes.

Noise removal is intended to be used with microphones. If you apply it to an output channel its going to make the audio cut in and out as it tries to remove what it detects as "noise"

That's not an issue I am having. There's probably something about your internet connection that is blocking it. Can you download it on, for example, a smart phone over mobile internet and transfer the file to your pc?

I would have thought rebooting would have done the trick too, but I rebooted a few times and it was still stuck showing as disabled after rebooting.

Not being able to handle resuming from sleep is bad software design.

Most people pay for their electricity and PCs should be expected to go into sleep mode when idle.

3rd party AudioMute plugin was working just fine.

Update... not sure what happened but it suddenly updated from disabled to enabled while I was typing this up, but the AudioMute plugin has now stopped responding and is showing a yellow triange.

Throughout this, the audio mute & volume control buttons on my $15 macro pad work with 100% reliability (the only thing they lack is a status display).

That's why I said that this type of thing occurs due to a lack of creativity -- there are lots of approaches for working around the limitations of Windows.

In this particular case, presumably polling periodically for the current status of sound devices would be more effective than trying to watch for state changes and assuming that everything is OK if you haven't seen one in a while.

Presumably the vast majority of Elgato's users are going to be running with Windows' default power settings -- it's not a huge stretch that most are going to blame Elgato when things go wrong with their software, not Microsoft.

or Microsoft could fix sleep instead of 100s of thousands of app developers writing some jinky code to try and work around the fact that windows doesn't notify applications that it has gone to sleep or that it has awakened so that the process it has suspended can resume. But everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Hey all. Anyone here really skilled or good at helping set up dual pc game capture using the goxlr mini with the HD60 X for obs streaming and recording.

I believe I have set it up right (could be wrong)
Tho on gaming pc as I have 4 monitors in total I’ve put one monitor to the streaming pc but it wants it to duplicate so it shows as 1|4 with that when I open obs on streaming pc and set it base resolution to what the monitor is being a 1440p monitor inside obs it only shows 3/4 of the size and if I stretch it out to fit inside the whole box it then distorts the quality big time.

Also find that it’s very very laggy like to the point it’s like 1 frame every 20 seconds and extremely low sound coming from the game but when you look at obs audio it’s hitting the sound correctly.

If anyone is willing to do some one on one stuff to help me fix it all that would be amazing.

The answer is complicated. It is a power and bandwidth issue for one. For the USB side: ```Why? Isn’t USB 3.x backward compatible?

In theory, USB 3.x is backward compatible and should work just fine with USB 2.0 Devices. But the reality is, a lot depends on your device, the drivers provided for the device, your BIOS, etc. If you try to connect a device that uses USB 2.0 to a USB 3.x port, chances are it won’t work out as you expect. This is even more common if you’re using Windows 10+.```

I highly doubt it has anything to do with 6.0. This is a common stream deck issue since its release. I think you were just lucky OR is it possible you have plugged in other devices to the USB hub you were using? The stream deck needs almost the full 4.5 watts of a USB port.

@fickle pulsar I think I finally figured out what the problem was. I have both my FaceCam and my HD60X connected on my PC. I tried disconnecting my HD60X to see if it would fix my FaceCam stutters, and it did! Elgato has a page this but I think they forgot to update the devices list.

I didn't think Game Capture would work with the newer devices. You should be using 4K Capture Utility.

Is anyone having issues where if your CPU us over 50% usage on Windows 11 22H2 WaveXLR full on stops audio output and has to be unplugged and plugged backed in?

This has been having issues with multiple installs of Windows 11 even a fresh install myself, I can no longer use Windows 10 as that was the last stable OS for the WaveXLR for me due to work and needing some features and programs that only support Windows 11.

Sorry for the super late reply, if you are using the RTX/NVidia Broadcaster with Elgato it could be causing that, support told me to cap my FPS at 60 or lower if I wish to use that plugin that they force installed down our throats

Use RNNoise by werman on GitHub as that uses CPU noise cancelling and doesn't cut out/lag your mic and output

Hi, so I am just about to start streaming Pokemon scarlet from my Nintendo Switch. I have been sent a capture card (HD60S) from my sponsor to use for the release stream. I didn't receive any cables with the capture card but when I connect all ports from switch to Capture card and then in to the PC, I am just met with a black screen and completely distorted audio feedback (see screenshot below)

Been having issues lately with icon packs from the store. A lot of them just will not install.
As in, click the blue install button, progress bar goes up very slowly for a moment and then it just stops and goes back to an install button.

hello! I’ve been trying to get my old elgato hd60 to work all day, but I can’t seem to find a solution. It does not show up in my device manager, but the device itself lights up, and If i connect it directly to the monitor it works fine, just with no audio.
