Really curious if Elgato with be coming out with a new capture card that will work better for the Xbox Series X. The 120hz of the Xbox is great when I don't have it set to my capture card, I use a lap to do my streaming, so I can't use the 4k60. Is there anything in the works to have a capture card that is better suited for the newer consoles coming out?

I hope so lol, I use the HD60 S+ which works for the most part, little grainy and will freeze my stream now and again, so it is what it is, but I'd really love one that accommodates to console + non PC streamers

I'm mad at my Facecam. The glorious uncompressed 60fps has revealed that my budget key and fill lights flicker like crazy. Now I'm stuck waiting for elgato to make a keylight that does RGB in addition to CCT.

I don’t think it’s the lights themselves that flicker but rather just the video perception of it. Does the same with led strips that aren’t Elgato. I’m getting ready to buy the light strip and the FaceCam once I move. Gonna be using my DSLR for my front cam and the FaceCam for a corner view.

From the research I've done, Hue bulbs run their PWM around 600Hz... so an unfortunate multiple of 60Hz that still results in rolling shutter artifacts with a 60fps camera.

Another day, another accessibility attempt that didn't work. 😅 Fuckin hell. I'm so exhausted. I wish I didn't have to cobble together solutions like this, and I wish that I had more options that didn't require the ability to like... Physically build and then program a Raspberry Pi. If I could do that I'd apparently have a lot less of a problem.

But alas. We'll see if the FireTV cube will be able to run Moonlight to remote access my desktop decently. I just wanna be able to do my art, play games, and socialize online. It's why I've been absent. 😶 My bedbound setup has been expensive, arduous, and tiring. But I have a surgery coming up and can't waste any time.

Plus I need this set up to find out if my current drawing tablet works decently with it, so I can decide on whether I want to get a good one for my birthday while there are still big sales. 😭

It's a really good example of who tech generally isn't designed for though. All the stuff for folks like me comes down to these specialized solutions that take a lot of doing to put together, and usually a good chunk of change.

I have the Samsung Odyssey Neo. There was only one that would support it's almost 40lb weight. So, I didn't shop around.
