I got to replace some of the older products and upgrade with newer stuff, like the 4K60 S+ and the 4K60 Pro, which is finally what I wanted for so long.

I 100% recommend XL if that's within your budget! There are so many keys I use and I had to switch to XL after filling up my regular Stream Deck.

Though if you feel 15 keys are enough for you, then you can always organize and use folders to have more keys! It really depends on how many keys you plan on using.

The software we use at work use hardware hooks to grab the keyboard and I’m trying to use a stream deck to preform many of the shortcut commands however since the macro plugin only sends api commands to the windows api the application never sees them has anyone tried to implement a macro keyboard plugin that works on a driver level?

That is a request you should direct to Elgato via a #feature-request . The Stream Deck does not store plugins on the hardware. All plugins are software that requires the intermediary Elgato software to run. So any driver level code would only register a key press that doesn't correspond to any keyboard mapping.

i like to file a complaint, before the newest update to the elgato wave link software, the audio quality when connecting my elgato capture card device was perfectly fine, but this newest update kinda glitched the elgato capture cards audio quality and it sounds like crap, if theres a way to fix it or if it was a sacrifice when making this update, plz let me know.

you're not alone a few people have been reporting it after the 1.4 with the external capture cards having choppy audio. only thing as a work around is having the capture card audio setup separate in OBS vs wave link at the moment. Seems to sound better, but I advised a few the same to open a ticket with #official-tech-support

sadly, the 1.4 is causing this with like more than 4 people already, I helped out as far as setup through OBS as a source, vs wave link, and audio is fine so the capture cards are fine, but wave link is making them sound bad, and choppy. i listened to one last night via discord vc, with it choppy routing from wave link.

I have 2, I think it's a gateway for a dslr, and the software, and sensor it was really makes this camera great. as for the negative, it's a set focal point. not really a bad thing, but can be for some who may want more via using a dslr.
