The app is a great way to break the ice to stream decks abilities plus I believe there’s a free trial available, at least for iOS, can’t hurt to give it a try and honestly it will only help improve your stream as it progresses.

You should be fine I believe it connects via the WiFi connection or Bluetooth to the streamdeck app installed on your pc. If you can run the software you should be good. Worth a try at the very least.

everyone myself included seems to really like the LP, as for the typical mic arm I havent seen a whole lot of people talk about it with the exception of one person who mentioned it would spring back up and not stay in place, could possibly be a defect as I dont see that happening in any of the elgato videos posted. That being said whats your setup like? do you have monitors setup that you want your mic to reach over or under? Every application is gonna be different but otherwise, build quality is incredible, magnetic cable track covers are awesome, the twist locking mechanism at the mount is really well thought out and easy to use.

Hello! I’m not sure which channel I should post this in so I guess I’ll post it here if that’s okay! This pic attached is a rough concept sketch of a “Wave XLR Pro” that I was brainstorming all night. It would have a similar form factor as the StreamDeck XL, two knobs with the left used for the mic/headphones while the right is used for music, games, etc. with an RGB light indicator on the ring showing which mix you’re currently on (plus think of Googly Eyes for custom knob plates which would be both adorable and hilarious). There would also be an AUX line in and out for those who use dual PC setups and the mute button located on the front. I wanted to share this concept with the Elgato folks to see what you guys think. I’m not sure if there’s already something in the works, but thought I’d shoot my shot and toss in some ideas for y’all! Thank you and much love! 😃

Hey guys, I'm running on a very low budget to stream, so I was wondering, I Have a Hyper X could 2 combined mic and headphone for the sound and à logitech c920 for the webcam. I want to replace both of them with à facecam and à wave 3 by Elgato.

Hey guys so for whatever reason the audio coming from my Switch that's plugged in through my HD 60 S+ isn't getting louder no matter what I do. I even turned the dB up to 5.0 in hopes it would give it a boost but it's still just a bit too quiet when I go back to listen to the test recordings.

Yep! I've been using a laptop hooked up to two monitors, so it hasn't been easy. I've got a desktop coming in on Friday, so that'll make it a lot easier. But yes, it's possible. If I could afford a Streaming PC, I'd definitely spring for one.

Hey - I currently stream on a 2 pc setup and would like to be able to add my ps5 into the mix whenever without lots oc swapping and changing. I was thinking I could use an Elgato 4k60 Pro PCI capture card on my gaming PC, then just plug the PS5 into the input on that then be able to use my audio set up and streaming set up as usual with the 4k60 capture on my PC in full-screen (it would be just be like I was playing a PC game) - will that introduce input delay/lag? I'm not keen on using the HDMI out of the 4k60pro because then I'll have the same audio issues I have anyway with the PS5

Soooo... I wanted to test out 4:4:4 RGB on the Mk2, I followed the instruction on the page https://help.elgato.com/hc/en-us/articles/360048181371-Elgato-Game-Capture-4K60-Pro-MK-2-supports-RGB-4-4-4-Video-Output I had to update the Driver, When trying to update the Firmware I kept my finger on the CTRL key to long and a manual upload popped up, foolishly I thought the Driver File was the Firmware update file, so I selected it, and waited for the update. The Application stopped working and I had to Task Close 4K Capture Utility, when I restarted the program the firmware showed as VERSION MCU 00.00.00 FPGA 00.00.00, I tried everything from uninstalling the drivers and software to looking everywhere for the manual files on the internet, I even tried a new PC and installed the capture card to find out the firmware was on the card itself. on the Streaming PC I performed a clean Windows 10 Pro install from a USB with a formatted SSD. The card was dead. now im waiting for a response from the Elgato Support but im afraid they wont be able to fix it.

This is what I usually always recommend if you're looking more into streaming.

Microphone first (Audio is most important)
Lights
Webcam/Camera

So the lights being what I wanted to look at next was a good start

Yeah! Since you can have a great camera, but it still wouldn't look the best you'd want it without good lighting haha

Now it just really depends on your budget. If you have a big budget then I 100% recommend x2 Key Lights or x2 Key Light Air. I'm currently using x2 Key Lights and they're so nice!

You can control them using your phone or Control Center app via desktop. Can change the temperature to make it cool or warm, and it can get REALLY BRIGHT. LOL

Easy on your eyes too!

Otherwise if you have a small budget, then you can definitely look around amazon for other light options!

Usually streamers tend to start small first and then just upgrade on the way
