Outside of the Capture cards, I consider Elgato's gear to be the path of least resistance "good enough" to get someone who is serious about streaming started. The Wave XLR is intriguing, and it could be used by anyone. I just wish it had more inputs for something like a console or a second PC. Both of which, I suppose, could be obtained using sound cards in your streaming system.

Wave XLR is for people with XLR mics. It's gives them access to use Wave Link as well. Facecam should screw into the wall mount with no issues.

Drywall screws are the little pieces of plastic you put into the wall (where no stud is present) and then screw a mounting screw into (it expands) to hold but yes YouTube it. Studs are preferred.

Looks like you have the clamp inverted and I’m not certain either stand will work that way. I know the regular version has to sit into the clamp and assume the low profile one does too but if you’re trying to sneak it under your monitors the lp will be the way to go and you’ll mount it to the back or side of your desk. Hey guys I have this weird issue with my wave 3. It usually works fine most of the time but when i use it on discord my voice gets robotic after like 1-2 hours or if i switch to many VCs. I tried deinstalling and reinstalling wave link multiple times but it comes out with the same robotic results. Did any of you guys by chance experience this as well?

I usually stick to one VC most of the time so not sure if switching between a bunch has anything to do with it, do you have voicemod or voicemeeter running with wave link or just the wave link software?

So I'm kinda disappointed in their new offerings because there was no fix to the streamdeck mobile. It's limited to the 15 button interface, but if you're using a tablet then you've got room for an streamdeck XL worth of buttons.

Depends on the hub and the usb controller typically. I've had no issues with my wave 3 and streamdeck on the same hub but it's also a powered USB 3 hub

OK, I just saw the video on the mic arm, and I'm not too crazy about it. The one that I currently use is actually good for the setup that I've got right now. I use the Ring light, the Stream Deck, and the Wave 1. The main issue that I've got, is as much as I would love to use that mic arm (and believe me, it looks far better than the one I've currently got), is that it can't bend up from the base on the desk. It turns from side to side, which means that you would need to have a clear desk that doesn't look like the setup I've got (which is pictured, if I can post a picture of my setup, I Hope). So as much as I love the better design of the mic arm, it's that little bit right there that turns me off from it. Sorry.

I think that’s okay, it won’t be for everyone and if what you have in place works awesome. If you weren’t aware already there’s the wave arm and the wave arm lp. They’re different. I think you’re talking about the lp (low profile) which yes would probably not some stuff over in your setup but the other one is more alike the one you currently have I believe. Just wanted to make sure you’re aware there are two options available.

So... I ordered my diploma the other day. Then I went job searching and came to a hard realization that no one is hiring for people fresh out of a 2 year degree program. I kind of figured that would happen, but I was optimistic that an employer would let me finish my degree while working. Since that isn't the case, I decided to talk to the VA about their VR&E program. This help disabled veterans find a career that matches their abilities. Since I have almost a decade of experience in electrical and manufacturing work, and the fact that I can't do that job anymore with my disability, they decided to PAY FOR MY BACHELORS DEGREE!!!! The VA will pay for me to complete my degree AND give me a stipend while I do it. I am so excited!!!

try factory resetting the light, and make sure you're on the same wifi network for your lights. they don't work on 5G.
