Got my Stream Deck Mobile Subscription
But have issues connecting phone to the windows app
I scanned the QR, I can see empty buttons on the phone, but Mobile device doesn't appear in the list, it keeps showing the window to scan the QR
Disconnect button in Android app doesn't work. It returns you to empty buttons list, but doesn't disconnect

Hello. I have the Corsair k55 rgb and I just downloaded the stream deck software so I can use the integration with the Corsair g keys. Is there any way that I can make it so i can switch between Corsair and stream deck profiles(when I click my macro to switch profiles it can either use the Corsair profiles or the stream deck profiles)

Not ideal since it's a highly response time dependent. For anything where you need to react quickly, we'd still recommend using a monitor/TV on the HDMI Out/Passthrough port.

@indigo moth it is buffering/throttling. With the way spotify is, it takes a few seconds to receive song data. So, the author of the plugin added the throttled overlay so people know it is still loading and needs a second. This is due to spotifys end so unless spotify improves third party support it'll continue to need time to buffer. I don't typically notice it unless I'm spamming the commands too quickly.

I don't care enough to go through support since I have my actual Streamdeck.
When I got my license, It took me like 3 days until the app stopped crashing and let me connect to the app on my pc.
It asked me if I wanted to copy my profile to the phone, and while I was reading and about to decide it just closed itself and I can't copy it lol.
I also don't see an option that lets me change the orientation of the phone grid which seems to be super dumb.
Ah, I have to rotate my phone

@honest tinsel imo it depends on your current setup, what kind of camera are you using VS what will you be using with the cam link? I personally say go for streamdeck, it's not at all needed for streaming but it makes it SO MUCH easier, once you experience it i promise you won't stream w.out it (it has become a necessity for my streams)

@rare kiln you asked about the NDI delay between audio and video (I assume if audio is run from a separate source). I'm currently using this with my setup of a MBP using a HD60S (not a CamLink) and a separate USB audio interface (because it's an HD60S, I have to use OBS Link which is an internal NDI signal). I use an audio delay of 575ms in OBS, but may have to tweak it a bit more.

@neon hatch ok. I have an external NDI source coming in separate from my CamLink, but the audio is still ran through my console. So Iβll have to put a delay just on that channel on the console in order to match the rest of the feed since the rest of it already has a different delay on it.

reboot got it working again. seems to help with the display latency in OBS too. The source (Elgato Game Capture HD) in OBS is even quicker than what displays in 4KCU

I'm not sure what I need to do to get it working in OBS with my DSLR. I just bought it used locally (would've bought the camlink but it's obviously impossible to get right now). I have my HDMI out on my DSLR going into my 4k60 pro, but when I add a video capture device in OBS, this pops up. Not sure what to do or what I need software or firmware-wise...

it depends on what you're using it for. If it's within programs like OBS for your camera, the HD60 Pro would work fine (up to 1080p). If you're looking to use it in Zoom or as a webcam in other applications, you'd have to do some workarounds.

Hi there everyone, can anyone help me trouble shoot an audio issue with the elgato?
My post on the reddit:
"I don't have any game audio with my elgato set up.
It's pretty generic setup, I'm able to get video but no audio
Gaming pc, route hdmi from it to a splitter. the splitter will have one hdmi end go to my monitor so I can play the game, the other end goes to the elgato. I then just hook up the usb on the elgato to my computer and I have visuals on OBS on the laptop.
I'm playing lofi music on my gaming pc to see if the video capture source (the elgato) would pick up. Nothing. I have elgato capture software and that sound capture installed. I've been messing with settings to see if something would work but nothing changes. I then did a fresh reinstall of both OBS and elgato capture/sound. Still nothing."
I'd really like to get up and running again, and I can't figure the issue

We only differentiate between "Instant Gameview" cards and non. So 'Superior Low Latency' isn't referring to any specific ms value.
But most of the time you're going to see ~50-70ms in 4K Capture Utility. Different software will have different behavior as well.
With a high speed camera or other method you could probably spot a difference, but side by side they'll be almost impossible to spot I would wager.

Hopefully someone here can help me out. Using the older Game Capture HD. I just got an external mic. I normally stream and send the throughput to one of my monitors and just play off that. (accounting for whatever delays in my stream on OBS) Now I am afraid with this new Mic, its going to pick up the throughput audio coming out of the monitor. Is there a way to stream the audio with no delay to my desktop audio so that I can listen to that through my headphones? or will I probably need an audio mixer?
Heres kinda a copy/paste from a post I made on reddit with more information I guess hopefully it makes sense:
I HAD been using a PS4 Gold wireless headset as my mic which also fed my desktop audio into my headset. I usually just play my console audio through the monitor it's hooked up to. With my external mic im guessing the ambient sound coming through the monitor will now get picked up through the mic. Im trying to figure out the best way to avoid that but I can't really come up with anything. So I guess I'm just asking how everyone achieves hearing both your desktop and your game audio?
I am using an Elgato hd to capture my game. Just to add.

@lyric pike I'm both the hd60s and hd60s+ both have low latency so I don't predict you'd see much of a difference unless it was FPS maybe.
As for the second question, you can sign up for notifications for when items are in stock on the individual retail sites that the devices are sold on. Like for example, you can signup for notifications on BestBuy or Walmart's webpages.

well, i went to setup my mic (shure sm7b) and when i went through the setup process, it was really hard to get the audio levels to the "good" settings had to put the gain to almost max, but a bunch of tutorials i watched/read said ~40-50db is good

I'm pretty sure you have to have phantom power on the Shure
(That's the one with +48V)

mmmm maybe other Shures but def not the SM7b, from their website directly "The SM7B does not require phantom power and is not affected if phantom power is present on its mixer input"
