I finally got the ShideshowFX color panel profile for Streamdeck + that was work just to configure it, but it work with the Davinci Resolve profile for Streamdeck plus. I love how I can just swap between them so easily now. Streamdeck + is amazing!

I can use my SD and SD mini thru a hub no problem, my SD XL has to go direct to my computer. The reason is a hub may not have the driving power to power the external device. The SD XL uses more power so it is better connected directly to the computer. Also some USB hubs can be externally powered to help drive devices.

Wave XLR gives you a mic that you can put into Wave Link and then the Stream Deck Plus allows you to use the dials to control all the volume settings in Wave Link.

I've just bought a couple of Waves plugins (MV2 and MaxxVolume) and have two free ones I can get (I've already selected Sibilance). What would recommend for gaming content to emphasize footsteps?

MV2 is just a less full featured version of maxxvolume, but maxxvolume is your one stop shop for dynamics. If you're trying to bring up quiet sounds that will do it best. The other waves plugin every streamer should use is clarity VX. Maybe vocal rider. I use vocal rider on all my dialog tracks in mixing (my work) but don't find I need it for streaming. Unless you're really dynamic and that works better than more compression.

I would email them if you need too. MV2 is just maxxv with a few bit left off. Like a light version. You wouldn’t need both.
If you’re struggling for something else to pick out, an EQ isn’t a bad thing to have. From waves the Q10 or renaissance eq are the cpu/latency light ones that would be good for streaming.

But clarity VX is the show right now for low latency dialog de-noising on live source.

Don’t mix by numbers; mix with your ears!
Now, by numbers this looks like quite a lot of compression on both ends, and then that huge -12.5 reduction at the end.
I would try to set it up so it’s output is much closer to zero. Play with lowering the low level threshold a bit, and raise the high level threshold.
In fact, to hear theta they are doing, turn them off and listen with just the leveler only for a while. Then bring in the low level slider and hear it raise up the quiet parts gently, don’t overdo it. Then the same with the high level if you need more loudness after that.

I’d record a passage of yourself, and then play it back on a loop, put this plugin on and work out the settings. Even include some game sound recorded and played back on a different channel at the same time, if you really want to get it exactly right.

Oh, that's pretty bad. Didn't know the shoch absorption was that bad. You could also try the low cut filter. My Wave XLR hast two build in: 80Hz and 120Hz. Since desk bumps are relatively low sounds, this might help a bit.
Otherwise get a low cut filter vst plugin an try that until you've found a fitting shocck mount.

Hi all, I did this question a couple of years ago and I have been a bit disconnected since... I am just wondering if there is a plan to implement a way to create actions and then get triggered by buttons within the Streamdeck architecture? I'll explain, right now I have buttons in different profiles that do exactly the same thing. The same button may be copied like six or seven times in different pages and profiles. If I want to change something, I have to modify one and then copy and paste everywhere I had the buttons copied. So a way to create main actions and trigger shortcuts instead of duplicating those actions into every single button would be of great help for me. I don't know if this is something others would like to have but it's making me use the Streamdeck just as a trigger for streamer.bot and it seems a pretty expensive piece of gear just to use it like that. Or maybe there is a plugin that I can install to do that? Any ideas? Thank you!

Oh I'd put this in #feature-request stat if it doesn't exist otherwise already - imagine being able to drag and drop a button or multi-action from the sidebar and being able to right click and change it there as a linked function, would be awesome

Yeah, I know... As I said, a couple of years ago someone opened that request but it only got a few signatures. I understand it may not be a mainstream feature since 90% of the people just wants the Streamdeck because it's fancy and bigger streamers have it. You can use the built-in capture function to get screenshots and clips of your gameplay

Other then that, there is currently no possibly way to record gameplay

I submitted a feature request but why in the world is the "restore from backup" in a sub menu for backup in the stream deck software... I had mine reset last night and after an hour of re setting the thing up I go to make a backup and find the restore from backup option...

Yeah have had that happen quite a lot recently when my computer have had lots of issues regarding the cpu so had tons of bluescreens so it corrupted everything, thankfully I do regular backups of all my profiles as soon as I change stuff so only had to re-do all audiostuff

Had to downclock my cpu quite severely to make it stable, so performance is awful but atleast it works until I can afford a new cpu

Destiny is fun
The system and QoL changes they made for LF are great.

The story feels like a waste of time where nothing is explained and we could have done absolutely nothing and it would have been the same. The entire campaign feels like it's dedicated to strand instead of telling the story. To that end the first and final cutscene of the game seemed to have originally been a single cutscene split into two.
