Low voltage is still voltage. If a short happens something on the board could fry causing smoke and the burnt smell.

A surge could also happen and the over current could cause a burn out as well.

Oh! You're talking about Streamer Mode. There's an option on Discord that shows you're streaming via Twitch if you have that turned on. That'd only be on if you're actually live. As for the about me, I believe Discord might have changed the layout/look of it? But if you right click on someone's name and go to "profile" you'd see all social links they have linked (if they linked any).

Personally, I wouldn't use any Apple product. Especially when it comes to trying to work with specific software for streaming. Apple products tend to not play nice with things that aren't specifically designed for it.

With today's technology and how fast everything is with gaming pcs. You shouldn't need anything more than one single PC to both stream and do what you need to do for Content at the same time

I mean, the Mac Mini and Mac Studio are designed specificly for workstation duties, like designing, editing, encoding and rendering. The M1 Ultra in the studio even more as its a real beast.

If you were filming a movie I would say go for it but that's not the case

Thats also one of the factors the Mac Mini appealed to me. I can easily just place it under a monitor.

Well I just found out the Apple Silicon does not support the required elgato software

And that the software wont be adapted, which really sucks.

Weird that Elgato wont make it Apple Silicon compatible. The Mac Mini is small and cheap, works best for people with low budgets.

@tulip jewel All of the Music on the Stream Desk Music tab is Royalty Free. I would contest the strike if it's from something there, as Youtube and Twitch use an automated system which can sometimes falsely flag royalty free music.

it depends. What kind of stream deck? 15 key, 32 key, pedal, or plus? Also, it depends on if you’re in the elgato ecosystem ex: wave link, camera hub, 4k capture utility, stream deck via software wise.

well there’s a discord plugin for push to talk, but for games it can be a bit tricky. Some games you’ll have configure it, and if you’re using an interface say voicemeeter, or wavelink there are plugins for those too.

I do recommend voicemod though, and you can pay like $40 once and you get it for life

Sadly today was one of those days for me, and as much I can be happy for something good, I’m also sad about something else. Just breathe, and rest. Also, working out to blow off steam, talking to someone, or looking for other work options to suit your mental health needs can be an option too. I made a career change, and I feel it was the best thing I did for me.
