if for some reason you have disabled all of your audio output devices (Say on a stream pc) The 4K MK2 capture card shows as always in use and elgato camera hub also refuses to launch

I had a rechargeable controller for my 360, and ended up destroying the battery from being plugged in so much
I was young and stupid, and from there just started using batteries, or just got a wired controller cause I was tired of my controller randomly disconnecting
And then just switched to PlayStation to not deal with stuff like that

I think Twitch using Twitch Studio would be a good choice to begin with.
As far are requirements to be successful, I would recommend streaming for your own enjoyment to start. There are no hard requirements for success. Good content is probably the most important. Maybe a little luck too.
You do not need to show your face. You can do your stream in any way you want. However, I think showing your face is possibly one factor for connecting with your audience.
The games you should stream are the ones that YOU enjoy playing. That should lead to the best content.
Being 18 should not be an issue. 18 is usually the minimum age if there are any restrictions. However, you will need to read the restrictions and requirements for the platform you choose stream on as the rules vary from country to country.
I hope my answers helped you a bit. I am sure some others will chime in and give your more advice as well.
Once you begin and start to get established, good equipment becomes important, especially your mic and camera. But, I would get started first and make sure you enjoy doing it.

Thank you for the tips! I started about 4 weeks ago and my Elgato equipment has been very reliable. I’ve also focused on games I enjoy to have fun - unfortunately, some of them are oversaturated at the moment😅

Yeah try and stick to games you guys enjoy playing, and build your audience from that, over saturation is normal for certain games, but just be yourselves and honestly have fun, don’t take stuff too seriously
Oh also try and be consistent too, like try and stick to a schedule as best you can, I speak from experience cause that is something I don’t do LOL and work and life get in the way sometimes so don’t let that discourage you either

2 monitors, or single monitor, and TV setup. Keep in mind your viewers are going to see everything you do about 10-20 secs after you’ve done it. However, for 0 latency vs relying on instant preview an OUTPUT to a gaming monitor/tv is ideal.

I think I may have figured it out
Just did a Google search, so mainly people are saying adjust buffer input, mines already at “Very Large”, but others are saying plugging it into a 3.1 usb slot fixed the issue
Now I just gotta find the 3.1 slots again LOL and rearrange everything

Yeah you can record with a capture card
You can use software like OBS or the Capture Software for elgato and it’ll save on the pc and then you do whatever you wish with the footage
There’s probably some settings in the software side to pick where to save the videos too and some other stuff (I’m not too sure the other settings)

also tried to rearrange my monitors... I think my display port cable is cooked, plugged everything in, and my monitor was just not having it what so ever, kept flickering
so I may need to find a 90 degree cable cause the port in the back of my monitor is kinda tight and the display port cable was a little on the thicker side so I may have just bent it too much

If you bought the laptop in the past 10-15 years it's most likely atleast dualcore, but you can hold the Windows-key and press the Pause/Break key that's above page up and page down keys
and then you'll see what cpu you've got

the mx master tho is amazing, my only gripe with it is the polling rate is quite low, i think its 100hz which is ofc lower than my 144hz monitor so it doesnt feel quite as smooth as my g502
