I know I've said this before and I am curious if anyone is still having issues with this, I have a ring light and I have the elgato facecam screwed onto the mount in the middle. I've noticed a lot with the angle I have it at, the ring light tends to fall over a lot which is obviously a headache to put back all the time. Any fixes? Any suggestions on a counter weight any way?

If I recall, the lights work off of your network and not by computer, you can integrate controls with the Stream Deck app on both your desktop and phone!

Thank you for the info. I changed the lighting in my room to the philips hue system, and while it's great.... it's terrible lighting for camera. The Kiyo Pro is great at low light, but in bright light the HDR is absolute crap for a darkened figure.

would really depend, Some of your streaming software setup can also help with artifacting. You will need to take in to account if you are planning to do single or dual pc.. if you are going to do dual and use the laptop you would need to look for usb cards. You will also need to take in to account frame rate and resolution.

Right now I personally prefer Twitch for livestreams, YouTube has so much potential and their actual video content is outstanding and the algorithms are great. BUT, when it comes to live streaming YouTube has an incredible downfall, they have very little discoverability, their UI is all jacked up you ever tried to expand a stream and still be able to read the chat? You can't... It's disappointing. They seem to be pumping so much money into getting big streamers on their platform instead of working on simple things like UI

So Im capturing a game from my PC to stream. At first I just ran OBS along with the game and had some quality issues, so i took an old server (Lenovo Thinkserver, Xeon 4C 16GB, 240SSD&2TBHDD) and put in a cheapo generic (i know) PCIe card and it was fine until the card quit, so picked up Elgato external HD60 i think it is and could not get the audio to output to it and my headphones at the same time, was either hear the game or output it to the stream. A friend just gave me a real good deal on his old 4k60 PCIe ( he stopped streaming) so now i can try the secondary capture PC plan again...just wondering if I should/shouldnt

So, i tried doing a green screen with two airs and it can work if i have my greenscreen behind me when not using an L shaped desk with little room

Had a Streamdeck since forever now and decided to upgrade my microphone to a Wave as it has Streamdeck integration (blue snowball currently).

And the Blue Snowball can go to my other setup so it'll be nice not having to use a Headset mic there

Anyone else use a wave 3? I got mine last year with the shock mount + pop filter. Any recommended settings for gaming? Sometimes I can't find the right setting that sounds good.

I remember getting to work last year. I know some OG's will remember me crying about it haha. Elgato make some good stuff though but I'm just brainless.

I don't have a Wave mic, but I'm a real stickler for using noisegate, compressor, limiter, expander and an EQ for my mic to make it sound as good as possible

I'm using a AudioTechnica AT2020 XLR into a Focusrite Scarlett 4i4 interface, but the plugins should make any mic sound as good as possible
