the only thing i have found is that turning the switch's video quality down makes it have less delay but the audio is very laggy and the quailit ysucks now

So that may be the only problem either that or the spec of my desktop are too weak but I highly doubt that.

I fixed the problem, the issue was that i put the elgato usb 3.0 into a 2.0 port and I didn't have any 2.0 ports left so I put my keyboards usb 2.0 cable in the usb 3.0 port. I reversed it and it works now!

hi! does anyone know if it's possible to use the "OBS Source: Source Visibility" to show or hide a source depending on the current visible scene in OBS? i have a video i want to play when i hit the button, but i want it available in every scene. this command makes you select a Scene though. maybe there's some other better way to go about this?

actually... i just upgraded and it looks like in 5.3.1.15197 i can just do a "show" for every scene / source, then a delay, then hide every scene / source and it only happens in the currently visible scene. hmm so i think this will work.

I would place the video on its on scene.

Then nest that scene (as a source) into your other scenes.

Then when you setup the button, the Source Visibility is on the original scene. And will enable across all scenes that the scene is nested in. Otherwise it's a blank canvas.

Example:

SCENE: Video-Scene - Source: Video-Source
SCENE: Main - Source: Video-Scene

I have a question I upgraded my mic to the shurSm7b with the elagto mic arm but before I got the shurSm7b I used the at2020 mic and I’m trying to change the mic ball head to the shurSm7b one but the at2020 one is completely stuck to the mic arm I’ve tried using quarters and pennies even a full on wrench and it won’t come off 🤣 🥲 if anyone has any ideas please let me know thank you ❤️

Example ( Switch connects to Capture Card - Capture card then connects to Wifi or Lan - You remotely web browse to the Capture card webpage - Type in the twitch or youtube login info and then hit go live VIA the webpage. that way you don't physically need to connect to a pc.) I'm never touching a Wave Panel again...it's finally done (144 mounted, 18 extras/spares). The computer setup needs a little work still though. Mic arms don't fit around a 2x4 + 3/4 inch plywood, and mounting them to just the 3/4 inch plywood leaves them more unstable than I'd like.

Not to mention all issues with connections and disconnects i've been having, replaced router and all network-cables and reinstalled computer multiple times and still nothing seems to solve it

Hey if I get a el gato capture card I put it between my dvi cable and I can route the video to a laptop and stream from there so there’s no FPS drop on my main system?

The capturecards are all HDMI, but I think you might be able to use a DVI-HDMI cable to connect it

aslong you have a 1.3 cable or newer yes, latest is 2.1

Personally I wouldn't cheap out on cables, I recently picked up a 2.1 cable 🙂

Does anyone have any experience with the Capture card and a Laptop? I got a decently beefy laptop I can use as my streaming pc. But I'll also use it for school, so I want to know if it's alot of setting up every day?

You should be able to just unplug the capture card from the laptop and take it with you and plug it back in when you are ready to use it again. There's also options that will record direclty to a SD card as well.
