hey , I'm just trying to make it work , I'm on a laptop (portable) AZERTY and I play with a controller.
I manage to have the song menu open in-game by taping F on my laptop but most of the time when I tap Q there are no sound playing even tho it say "LuteBot Playing" .. 2 or 3 times it worked but I couldn't change between the different song I uploaded
So yeah I don't know what I'm doing wrong

Comme t'es sur AZERTY, c'est normal. J'ai du configurer mes touches en QWERTY et changer de langue de clavier sur Windows. Mais sur la dernière version de Lutebot et Lutemod, y a moyen de changer les touches pour lancer le menu et jouer les musiques. I couldn't, don't know exactly where is the problem, im on a laptop and it seem that the game won't recognize when a tap a number to choose a song

Sometimes it would play one song but couldn't change the song I was playing nor replicate it when changing lobby

So if you're playing with a controller , i used the command ~Keybinds in a private lobby and put "change song" on my left directional ( the one for the emote ) and put play song on the right and now I can play up to 4 songs on each page by using A , B , X , Y to select my song after pressing left

It's not great but at least I can play some music , might try again to make it work properly in the future

I have a weird problem, can anyone help me? My game displays the lutebot menu correctly and I even have some songs in it (downloaded them from a website in .MID format), but every time I execute the play command for a song (I bound it to Num1-9), nothing happens and the lutebot popup disappears, as if the song was being played - but noone can hear anything. Someone having a similar issue? Is there a fix for this?

Exactly the same as in epic. Go to your steam library, find Mordhau, click the browse local files button and find the game.ini file, then paste it in the bottom

lutemod will not update on its self, on here it says i need to put a line of code in a game.ini file, i have checked mordhau directory for such a thing and my Appdata for it and it does not exist

I am not a professional in this industry, and probably the most sensible advice I can give (or rather what I would do) is to try again to completely remove lutebot and install a new version

also, after deleting, try to install an older version of lutebot. it seems I had a similar problem, and I solved it that way. then try to use the automatic update and update lutebot

yes, it's a purely cosmetic bug that doesn't affect anything (except it overwrites your Instruments.json every time), and will be fixed next release

mordhau epicgames doesnt require such a file, its not a dependency so the lute mod can still work

on steam we have both, not sure what the deal with it is for epic games, but it was designed before epic even had mordhau

Make sure to check your appdata/local/mordhau, as thats where the config was changed after a recent update.
