HI there! Thank you for the suggestion chat!
Im here to ask for a way to make the server more useful for game related things, and so i though about a channel where to ping especially for the raids role! I saw a similar system in another game server (i think it was overwatch) and they had the different maps and role. Here could be Support, DPS, Maybe Tank, + the possibility to tag specific class. I saw there is already the "looking for group" chat, but maybe , if with more specific role to tag, more person could interact with it

I hope it can be useful someway 🙏

It could be a great idea , but tbh have role could be a problem or a spam issue , for example the France is the country with the most time slots in the world and there also some player who play outside the EU country , so you will received the ping during the night , day or at work , i know you can mute the channel / server ,but if all player do that the channel will be useless , i think thinking about an other idea would be better for everyone.

The idea of making matchmaking on the server is great but the admin / modo have to think about how to prevent spam / abuse of ping , and a method give the better result possible !

Thank you for the response! ill try to think of another idea then, that could match the solution and prevention for the spam abusing and/or mute.

I was thinking...what if we used a reaction-based system with a bot? like if someone writes a message like "Looking for a raidX" and add a role he need , the bot could automatically adds reactions, any you want at this point, just to let people responde in a way that no one get pinged abusively but can react and see the message, so if enough people react, like the needed who correspond to the message maybe, the bot ping only the ones who reacted, instead of the first idea and , as you said, creating random and useless pings. this way we could avoid even uneccessary spam, but its probably possible only with the premium cost of some bots or idk.. the other opstion could be creating one (never did tbh sorry, only managed some)

Surely its not the "last" idea, but i hope at least it could be a piece for a puzzle that could look good and help finding the final solution

Dw i'm a player as you are , i'm not from the staff i just wanted to share you what i was thinking about your idea ^^ .

I was thinking for your reaction bot system , the role given would be give for max 6h would reduce a lot the chance to be mass pinged ... or idk i don't have much idea to improve what you have tell me 👍 .
