That blacksmith trick was capped at +10. You couldnt go from +8 to +11 for example.
And it was extremely, insanely rare. I'm positive it wouldnt change anything even it they revert that change because +10s are now dogwater and not the standard at all (they never were the standard).

You say this because you don't know how easy it is to get 10+10 in a refining event without spending money, something that was possible in just 1 day of refining, only those who took advantage of the system know, consequently the +10 became +11 using little cash

No I'm well aware of that and I used it myself. It wouldnt work in the current meta at all because it was used to enhance elrianode gear, which had farmable stones that could easily be socketed into.
Good luck now trying to sell +10 tene pieces with random lines...
